Hey thanks for a super comprehensive review. I just last week purchased the Sport model which I haven’t been out on yet, but I can see obviously from your review the differences. But the Pro is also €200 more than the Sport, so one would expect things to be better. I guess just depends on what one can afford, and for me €600 was already quite a chunk of money for a kick e scooter. I recently moved to the Nederlands from Australia, where I’d thought about buying one there. Having purchased it here I had no idea that they are illegal in the Nederlands (hopefully not much longer!!) so I’m just going to take my chances. I’m not as young as you, in my 50s but I love electric transport vehicles and gadgets. Thanks again mate.
Your “stuck throttle” bug isn’t a bug at all. It’s cruise control. The scooter has it. Hold down accelerated for ten seconds and it kicks in. Tap breaks to disable.
That's what I thought it was was a lil scared but once I learned it beaped when it go's it cruse control i understood what was going on and was more aware less scared knowing I was in control
there is a software update to the app to allow curse control. once enabled, when you maintain a speed for 5 or 6 seconds, the scooter will beep, and then you are in cruse control. to turn off cruse control touch either break, or press throttle after releasing it.
I wanted to buy this scooter as my second scooter, when my first breaks up :) In demensions, deck with, deck lenght, handlebar, whole geometry it is identical to Ninebot max G30, with differences +-5mm. Angle of handlebars is identical. Wheights is also identical. Battery almost equal, eaven a battery cap with a spring is identical to G30. Adjustable lights are better than on G30. Hidden cables in stem are nicer. But otherwise it is almost identical. In my opinion they shoud have do something special with it. Ninebot Max is a scooter from 2019, and this NIU is somewhat polished, but will arrive at the begining of 2022. 3 years and almost no difference.
Ok, so I got mine last week. I can say that the throttle does stick at very LOW speeds every once in a while. Also, I weigh 105kgs and the scooter has NO problems going up hills steeper than that shown in your video, so probably the production version is better than the ones you got.
Let me know how it is, e scooters are my new hobby I've bought two in the past month, it's a shame its rained otherwise I'd be having a blast right now.

I like the dualtron Victor with the exception of there not being at the moment a rear foot plate. I’m at the place now where I want to easily throw these PEV’s into my car. I’m also interested in the e-twow gt, but wrongway wasn’t especially impressed. Ginger on Wheels seemed to have a different take though, and also lives near where I do.
@@raylivengood8040 It's crazy the motor's are near silent aswell, I've been looking into the Dueltron Mini as they're in the sale pretty much everywhere and 22kg isn't heavy at all and easily put into a car, carrying it up and down stairs would be get a bit tedious though, it also looks really nice, I'm tempted as the King GT is really heavy and a right pain to get in and out of storage, it's fun though.

I believe the American version will come with a top speed of 32 km/h and the European version will have a maximum of 25 km/h. (Exemptions for countries with their own laws)

The deck length on a TIER sucks, it is to short. The ninebox max g30 is comfortable, I'd the say at least the minimum required. Also the ninebot has a 550wh battery and the niu only has a 450wh, it should have been at least removable and larger.
It is a nice looking scooter indeed! What no one seems to want to mention is that the deck and bottom of this scooter are plastic and can crack much easier than the aluminum deck and tub from competitors.
I forgot how its called the thing when your scooter still gets power even after removing the hand from the throttle, but the controller that comes with it is responsible for such behavior, so not a bug.
I'm thinking of buying the sport model here in Aus for a 5km each way commute to my local station, then catching the train to work. Its got bicycle paths, sealed roads etc. Thoughts? Im really leaning toward this model...plus the extra range would allow me to ride it to work (25km)

@@Blox117 What ebike are you referring to? I’ll take an EUC over any bike 8 days a week. Bikes are so heavy and cumbersome in my opinion. Different strokes for different folks.
@@chrisbruce3164 not really, you EUC people are just extremely arrogant and opinionated people who cry a lot. i ride both and they are different vehicles for different uses. no euc can even go over 50 or even stay at 50 without overheating. meanwhile ebikes can do over 80mph without a problem its just the facts
also, it has been demonstrated that under the same battery size and velocity an EUC uses much higher power. in fact, it uses MORE power to go at a slower speed than a scooter or bike. EUC will always be slower and less efficient.
let's also not forget that you can get a much faster scooter or bike (especially if you are willing to diy, which is much harder with an euc) for a cheaper price than an euc. my mcm cost 1300 dollars and struggles to maintain over 22mph. meanwhile scooters in this range can do over 30. my self built ebike DESTROYS even 150cc motorcycles and the overpriced electric motorcycle market, much less an euc.

I bought the Sport model yesterday and rode it last night, i got 14kms out of it on the first charge. was a little disappointing. But, I assume its becuse I am over the 100kg max weight capacity and the trip had a lot of uphill foot paths...? But, when riding on flat surfaces, it was great.

Just got mine. I had to jump off the scooter at one time because the left hand brake did not seem to engage, even when i squeezed on it hard. You mentioned they are electronic brakes? I wonder if there is anything i missed during set up.

Cześć, mam pytanie odnośnie hulajnogi. Otóż po przejechaniu 200 km, podczas startowania słychać dość głośny dźwięk. Tak jakby coś było nie tak z silnikiem. Choć na dobrą sprawę, może ten typ tak ma i wszystko jest z nią w porządku. Czy podczas testów dźwięk podczas przyspieszania był dość głośny.

You seem to weight more than her, therefore this test is completely untrustworthy. I've been using the Sport for 2 weeks and it's been performing amazing even while going uphill.
The scooter is awesome. I just got it yesterday and only went out for 30 min. When I got home to check on tire, I saw a nail and just a little wiggled. The air start coming out. So, I emailed a request to fix the tire. They said no warranty and I’ll have to pay for the tire. Plus fix it myself. That’s the sad part.
Electric unicycles or one wheels are a terrible form of transportation due to the increased risk of injury and reduced stability compared to anything with handlebars and 2 or more wheels.
get a iscooter way better and cheaper i have one gets me up my hills massive ones slow about 7mph but can do 20 incline easy cost 270,.00 or can get the iscooter ix5 that has a 1200w
Tbh the hill climb power is absolutely trash on this scooter. The ninebot max is a 350watt 750max motor and takes 20% hills at ease and I’ve never come to a stop. This piece of crap can’t even handle a 10% grade. Truely disappointing

I'm also around 230lbs and I get 28kms up hill easily.

And 7° is like 13%
In Croatia Spor means slow... so there must be a typo with the (t)

ebikes will always have better top speed, acceleration, and efficiency and larger batteries over an EUC

It is heavy and doesn't have any suspension. I think the ETWOW GT Sport 2022 is the way to go, if you're looking for portability and performance.

wait, i didnt understand. the right and front brake levers aren't for each mechanical brake (front and back?) one of them is only a eletric brake?

What do you mean by 12 cycles? Does that mean that the battery is likely to die after 12 x 40km rides? (Sport)
No he just means the battery has been cycled 12 times from 100% right down to 0%. Essentially it's been used up fully 12 times

Status 2024: The firmware has now the user choice of kick-start on or off. Also, as others have mentioned, it’s got cruise control.

One of the shoulders in my new 2021 lazy roiling reflective jacket keeps moving around and pissing me off.. I have put it in the same both sides.. :/
The Sili electric scooter fits in your backpack, this is still pretty big to carry around.
