Hey thanks for super review! I’ve just purchased the sports version, so hopefully it has most or some of the things from the pro. The only downside (for those who may not be aware) I recently moved to the Nederlands and unbelievably (and too late) they are not legal here 🙄, but yet legal throughout rest of Europe. So it’s going to be a bit touch and go😛 so to speak. But super scooter! Thanks again.
Yeah, that is ridiculous, to have them illegal. In Vancouver , Canada, I heard they are not allowed to be ridden on the street, or on the sidewalk, that is so ridiculous. A lot of ppl do not have cars, and need to commute on them and get around. They push for healthier commuting, yet they suppress it at the same time, it makes no sense. In Edmonton, they put them in groups all around areas of downtown, randomly, so you can grab one, rent it and ride it wherever you want to, and leave it elsewhere. Doesnt make sense that nederlands doesnt allow this at all.
@@fireflyfree311 I agree! But one I have noticed since my time here in the Nederlands is the system is massively regulated. In one sense understandable due to being small country with 17 million people. But from another perspective (call me cynical) they haven’t yet got a framework organised which department of transport recognises e step scooters as vehicle. Once that’s been done, then one can register one’s scooter $$$$$(meeting safety standards etc) and then in turn can insure the vehicle $$$$$. Then all will be fine. Apparently there discussions going on in government for last two years re legalising them. Hopefully soon!!! Currently my Scoot (blue version) is sitting here in my living room and it looks fabulous man, really well built too! But I’m still nervous about going out on it, as I don’t earn much money in my job and the fine is €280 (US $287). Anyhow we’ll see what gives! Enjoy your scoot, eco friendly is the best.
I love this scooter I have the sport but it's just as good just 17 mph instead of 20 and the alarm n app stuff other than that you can't loose with either one
Has anyone figured out how to lock it after activating it in the app? It doesnt seem to work. You hold down for 2s to shut it off, then 3s, but it doesnt lock at this point, it just seems to turn back on for me. Is there a trick to it? I even keep holding the button longer after it turns on again, it just wants to turn on, not activate the lock. (As the app says after turning on lock in app, to hold 2s, then hold 3s).
I hate to be THAT guy in the comments but you really need to use a diff stance. Feet side by side is dangerous. Your stability is severely reduced and you will likely fly over the handle bars if you have to emergency brake. That is the stance you should never use on a scooter. I am leaving this comment because I don't want to see you or anyone else get hurt. Awesome video tho.
I own one too. And although I'm happy with my unit, I wouldn't recommend it for constant hills. It might go up many but, the battery will drain significantly faster and you won't appreciate that lol
So I’m confused is this 350w or 700w I need something with range will this go 30 miles ? If not I’ll buy the cheaper one than because it makes no sense to get the expensive one if it can’t go 31 miles I need this for groceries shopping going to the gym going to friends house and having fun on the weekends. So what one has more range the niu kqi2 or niu kqi3 sport. Also can you make a video how to charge it.
Yeah first issue I had is a slow leak in the rear tire ! So yeah no , however I’m interested in the extra modes and how to activate them , also you sound like you work for NIU
Just picked one up today, I can’t figure out how to make the app change to mph from km… I went into the settings and changed it to mph, but it’s not changing on the app.
just got mine. Is there something i am missing with the braking system? I had to jump off the scooter at one time because the left hand brake (front) didnt seem to engage, even when i was squeezing it hard. hmmm
I’ve had a flat for 2 weeks now, none of the dealerships in the U.S. know how to change them or anyone that even sells this size tire. It’s a great scooter, but the customer support for this is terrible. Tires are a wearable item, it’s like saying car and motorcycle tires never need to be replaced.
Hi bro I am allrady bay niu election scooty kqi3 spots I have provelsm my scooty my scooter race swich broke I want that swich bro please help me bro how can i oder that swich bro i bay three month bafore bay this scooter bro please help me bro your video very nice
Hey would you be the one first one on TH-cam ever to say n i u products that once you set everything up on your phone if you forget your phone at home the scooter will act on it it's last settings that you used to have or do you have to have the app open and the phone with you at all times I don't want to get two phones one for my scooter and one for calls
You gotta go through the safety tutorial on the app to make sure you understand how to ride your scooter and after you finish then it will enable you to change modes
This scooter is around $ 800. If you want front and rear suspension. Front and rear motor . Trigger type throttle, just spend an extra $ 300, just buy a Kaabo Mantis 8 Dual motor with 1,000 W (500W x 2) of power.
Thanks for sharing stuff that I never knew I wanted. I will be getting one of these this year. Definitely.
Good job on the review i just ordered mines i hope it lives up to the hype 😅
Great review! I just received mine, and at the moment it works very well 👍
Glad to here. It's a sold scooter.
Nice i just got it yesterday
Solid Great Scooter
When you taking the nanny app to take to get it to go to full speed do you have to do it more than once
I have the same scooter. You can turn off the kick start and just use the throttle
Which country are you in? I heard it’s based on your region

How long you had yours??? I'm planning on buying one

Thanks for sharing this. How do you actually set the security alarm on the app?
On NIU site up until a day ago it was much higher max weight , the same as written for the new max version
What would you recommend this or the EVERCROSS Electric Scooter

you could say they aren't niu to the market hehehehehehehheehe *walks away* *comes back* seriously though, nice scooter.
And the no suspension is a complete game killer
What phone holder are you using? I have problem where to install the holder, there’s no space on the handle bar..
I see the website says it can hold 265lbs and it rides me perfectly at 233lbs
Do you think this single motor/esc can handle long hilly terrains, with lots of hills, without burning out? 🤔
I own one too. And although I'm happy with my unit, I wouldn't recommend it for constant hills. It might go up many but, the battery will drain significantly faster and you won't appreciate that lol

It has a 350w motor that can peak to 700w. Some companies list their peak wattage - NIU lists both.
the 700W is inaccurate. According to the amazon link to the product, it has a 350W motor. the 700W is more of a spurt at best
The 350W is for the sport version but the pro comes with 700W
@@wrighma7753 you are incorrect there. It can't even handle a 15 degree incline without serious speed slow down for the pro version.
Yes he is wrong it's a 350 watt motor but it's peak power gets to 700 Watts when on a incline
So what is this. 300 or 700w ? And is the range accurate I want something with long range if this isn’t true I’ll buy the cheaper one
@@dStayingAnonymous8476 They get extra performance from a 48Volt system vs. the common 36Volt systems most use.
Yeah first issue I had is a slow leak in the rear tire ! So yeah no , however I’m interested in the extra modes and how to activate them , also you sound like you work for NIU
However it does have great pickup and I have gotten a lot of compliments on it
Just picked one up today, I can’t figure out how to make the app change to mph from km… I went into the settings and changed it to mph, but it’s not changing on the app.
Log into the app, three dots upper right hand corner and see in middle of screen
On the screen display 1 long press turn off/on,,,2 press turn on light,,,3 press change from km to mile or mile to km,,,5 press walk mode
just got mine. Is there something i am missing with the braking system? I had to jump off the scooter at one time because the left hand brake (front) didnt seem to engage, even when i was squeezing it hard. hmmm
Nui site says 265 max weigh. Is that correct?
Question what If you have a flat tire 🤔then what??? How would you fix it??
I’ve had a flat for 2 weeks now, none of the dealerships in the U.S. know how to change them or anyone that even sells this size tire. It’s a great scooter, but the customer support for this is terrible. Tires are a wearable item, it’s like saying car and motorcycle tires never need to be replaced.

@@ChabulusDoesn't the website sell tires and parts?
@@TERRENCEJJR they sell replacement tires. Have fun trying to get the old tire off. I would recommend doing that before buying a replacement.
Tubeless vs solid tires? I’m confused on which is better…. Flats on my bicycle are my main concern….
Solid tyres. It's completely rubber all the way through, so no deflations.
Mines was doing 30 miles last night wen i hook it up
i need the firmware USA where to download

How do you get to the sport's mode. The scooter goes 20mph but i don't see the other modes
You gotta go through the safety tutorial on the app to make sure you understand how to ride your scooter and after you finish then it will enable you to change modes
Yeah that would be a pain in the ass but if you have to do it every time the battery dies or you turn it off it'll be not worth having
Does Niu build the Bugatti scooter?
Don't know. But the build on these is super solid.
Tubeless tires does NOt mean you’ll never get a flat.

Do you always have to have your phone with you though since it's connected to Bluetooth I know it's a dumb Question 🤦🏾♂️🤣
You can use the scooter without having your phone with you 👍👍
It sucks no suspension wish they come up with one and more sporty
Is ecoreco l5+ electric scooter better then this ?
Tubeless tires can go flat. It’s a 350W motor not 700. Inaccurate
Lol your comment is inaccurate, it's a 350W motor that outputs up to 700W.. Volts * Amps = Watts
I also believe the weight maximum is 265, not 220.
Not 700 w motor.
yes it is. 350 nominal and 700 peak
Tubeless is possible of losing air and having a flat tire !!!!!!!!! Not professional at all
