    Using a ruler? This is genius!

      Thank you. I considered a free paint stirrer from Home Depot / Lowes but ran across this at Harbor Freight for cheap. Figured it'd hold up much better over time.

      Great idea for sure. Thanks for posting man. I’m using it for my Ring camera setup monitoring my driveway!

      I like it! So innovative. If the camera mounting bracket moves due to wind, you could apply some silicone adhesive.

    Hi, how to cut the ruler? I don't have the tool in the video. Can I use a hand saw?

    • @weekendhomeprojects
      @weekendhomeprojects  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can as long as the saw is for metal. Unless your ruler is plastic or wood, then a regular wood hand saw should work.

    How do i hang my Wyze V3 camera on the porch ceiling ? It shows the view upside down ?

    • @weekendhomeprojects
      @weekendhomeprojects  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There is an option in the App to flip the view. Click on the camera in the app, then click on the gear icon in the top right, then Advanced Settings, then toggle the "Flip 180 Degree" option.

    What do you do for power?

    • @weekendhomeprojects
      @weekendhomeprojects  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's the wireless model. Has a built in battery that is suppose to last "6 months"...but actually lasts around 1-2. Kind of annoying to charge every couple months but very easy install.

    how do I do this without that saw? :(

    • @weekendhomeprojects
      @weekendhomeprojects  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can buy a cheap hack saw at Walmart and it’ll work.
