Very good and directive review.. your English is awesome and your ways of delivering info is top of its game. Looking forward to see you review more cars as bluntly as possible.. you may become the next Jeremy Clarkson.
Bro your english is so good. Not only the accent & fluent but your choice of words are also so good! Maybe can do review for civic ehev & type r in the next one
Before looking at the price, this version of CRV is easily one of the best SUV that I wish to get. After looking at the price and the features given, I have doubt in paying the premium price if i'm comparing it with proton.
@@haroldz123 I was one of the one that kena the engine oil seal defect, I am proof. The entire engine and gearbox need to be remove to replace the oil seal and there were a total of 7 seals to be changed.
Lanewatch at left side , you still turn to look at the left(screen at left), but not far left. Lanewatch for driver side make no sense. Imagine you are turning right but your head is looking at the screen at the left. This simply shows Honda engineers do know their stuff.
Would love to, same with the S60. We’ve been asking Volvo to borrow a V60 for so long but they only have the SUVs and EVs in their fleet for the media 🥲
Lol i remember this shorty did a review with the X50 and complained about how the X50 did not comes with a full soft touch door trim while being a 113k car, fast foward today where he’s reviewing a close to 200k car, he didn’t even mention once about the CRV having the same amount of soft touch material as the X50. Biased? Paid? Or just lack of information?
I don't think the americanised design is true for the current one. They did that in the 2000s with the boxy american design. This is more like last decade european design. Current european SUVs look sleek like the new peugeot 3008 or bmw 3 series but their previous gen more or less looks like this crv or current hrv
@@InnerFire6213 tbh, the price range is way over their worth. it's entering higher end of range which more other choices are available... the likes of cx8.. and now Chinese SUV invasion... it makes this 200,000 CRV looks very.. expensive for nothing.
@@derekw9358 drb hicom getting too cocky because they’re the top brand in malaysia foreign car brand. Inflation should put the crv in 150-160k max. 200k is really ridiculous. Japanese brand has earned too much confidence and pricing themselves in the conti territory. Same with hyundai and kia, overconfidence but without the sales volume. For 130k the jaecoo j7 is looking real good right now
@@Tomb4kI bet you don’t owe a Honda car? It’s always easier said than done! I’ve reporting this issue to Honda Service Centre and they told me: HONDA IS LIKE THIS, EVERYONE HAS THE SAME PROBLEM 😅
The one who say got warranty why headache and the other one clearly don't own a honda...try owning one and try claiming from honda. The bull crap steering rack issue has been there since civic fb era till civic fc till now, the steering rack supplier did not improve the part quality at all. Ps. I own a 2017 civic fc and my car also kena steering rack issue, the claim process from honda is something you will never want to own another honda again.
@jonathansslee obviously im the owner of CRV G5 and now G6. It relies on the service center. Rather than make noise, whu not use the energy to find better SC? NO? Fyi, claim mine G5 steering tack after driving less than a years. Notify the SC their do the checking and do claim for me. Not even a weeks, drive back to SC and get replaced.
Best car reviewer in Malaysia
thank you! 😲
Competitive with the highest, but sure.

Love his review without prejudice. Impressive review. Bravo!!!
Honda's hybrid cars are awesome - and this one is the best of the lot! Hope to see more on the road.

straight forward reviews…appreciate It.
The car seat memory is adjust after the engine is start. No issues for me V-Spec CRV back to my memory set.
Correction: there’s no rear cross traffic alert
Trust me, with this kind of spec that Honda give.. People will more choose to go with Omoda Or Jaecoo
What? No resale value car?
Imagine if we said things designed in Malaysia were Singaporean... lol
How's is the suspension and traction while cornering in the 2wd system?
Any of you newer honda owners still facing steering rack and engine oil seal issue?
Engine oil seal only happened in USA. So far no one can proof it happened in msia.
For steering rack, it still happened to some facelift gen 5
@@haroldz123 I was one of the one that kena the engine oil seal defect, I am proof. The entire engine and gearbox need to be remove to replace the oil seal and there were a total of 7 seals to be changed.
No issues with mine.
Comparison wise, should i buy Tiguan or this car?
great review

Uhh what? Just put a simple BSM symbol at the corner of the side mirror with beep sound and sensors. Honda engineers syok sendiri put LaneWatch lol
Crv in usa got blind spot. We don't get blind spot here which is more useful than lanewatch camera
@charlesdegaulle2928 been drive with both technology. I appreciate lane watch more especially when u have passengers on left 😄
Lanewatch camera on the right side is not practical......but if honda put blindspot on the both side would be better.
just integrate into the speedometer same like what kia and hyundai are doing😂
Is it still reasonable honda to put at this price . The competition in this segment is crazy might take a look at pricing
Any chance you guys will do more reviews on estate cars, the volvo v60 could use a new review maybe? Or the underrated arteon sedan?

Just bought City HB eHev. Totally agree on Lane Watch... it is useless. I turn-off all the time. Honda please listern !
Honda cheapskate removing the honda sensing 360 with blind spot monitoring for Malaysian market

is this AWD or FWD?
I wish it is AWD like in Thailand.
Once my niece asked me, what does RS stand for. I told her “Real Sangap.” She hated me that whole weekend 😅

Is this guy small or the crv big?😂

Great design, but overprice for that spec. That price honda should give dual clutch gearbox instead of cvt. Cheapskate brand.
I dont think RS model is using CVT. The honda hybrid is quite advance
I liked and subscribed... It's free.. took me a while though haha
this or mazda cx5..totally i will go to mazda cx5
Can u share what is the reason. Thanks
IMO despite aging model, the Cx5 is still a better buy across the variant except hybrid. Would personally get the crv rs ehev though.
Isn't it more appropriate to call the RS a Racing Spec model? Lol😂
Steering rack issue 💀
As long within warranty why headache? To get steering rack replace not even a day.
There's a warranty from Honda Malaysia
