despite honda's reputation, there no way honda won't relook at their pricing and equipment for the crv...legacy auto makers has had it to long excesively pricing their cars, at least now consumers have a choice..Haval seem to have decent record when it comes to reliability these days..
Adrian, thanks for this short comparison. Haval H6 has the significant RM60k+ price advantage plus the long list of warranties including the 5 yrs FREE service including parts+labour ✅ . More powerful too👍.
This Honda CR-V cost almost 200k, but lacks of the basic 360cam, Blind Spot Monitoring... I rather not to mention about Haval H6 has Ventilation Seat, Auto Parking, Air Purifier System, Sunroof, etc... I thought people should be smart enough to choose between this two, but in reality, nope 😅
Now this is just the type of video I was looking for. No beating around the bush kind of video. Very informative and direct. Great job Wapcar! I think its great to have this kind of info as we move forward to more fuel efficient cars and hybrids would be a good choice at this present time as msia is still in its early phase of having sufficient infrastructure to support the demands of EV's.
Funny to see that so far no car reviewer has taken the H6 up to Genting Highlands. Might as well test mine when I get the car this coming 2 weeks time 😅
I would blame the GWM Malaysia for the slow move. We have an abundance of influencers or drivers who can deliver the PR stunt for the benefits of the GWM itself.
this is a good comparison review! i've been eyeing on china suv nowadays compared to my current crv... i kinda want to let go my crv and go for this although have been loyal to honda for so long but service nowadays are not so good compare to 10 years ago.
thumbs up Sir. Very details & pinpoint precise more relevance comparison especially the hybrid driving experience. Haval - comfort relax driving hybrid Crv - sporty athletic driving hybrid but the FC, think u got it wrong. Crv - 5.32L/100km Haval - 5.8L/100km 😊
Crazy price difference….the CRV will will find it tough wt this haval competitor but u missed out the big item cost…ie the cost of hybrid battery replacement comparison btw the crv vs haval?
Now Chinese auto maker need to step up on after sales service & improve their supply chain and make sure spare part for each model still available up to 7-9 years.
I like the h6 hev personally, but I also do understand why people buy honda hev with more money, because GWM need time to bulid the brand reputation in Malaysia, which would be a long way to go.
At 2034, you are guaranteed to get back RM80k when you sell your H6. Price difference, bank loan on that 60k extra, insurance etc. If you manage to sell off at RM 15k, that will be RM 95k. And you enjoy the extra featues for 10 years.
6/10 people will choose Chinese car now because the world getting changed, China car maker now try to evolution such what happen on Japan before they became master of create the car in 1980-2010... for me im try to giving a Green light for Chinese car because i see now Japanese car getting Expensive & Boring 4/10 people will choosing Japan car maker because they believe on Reliable & after Sales value... well it's because the sales profit of the car make a Second value increase, not including China brand if one day most of us will see China car brand everywhere, that time the resale value will be increase by following the trending...
Honda crv name tag cost Rm60000.00 more😮 Specs n performance n comfort less. Spare parts n service road tax insurance cost double. Haval? From where? But cheap means no good?😂 Better buy Haval save money la. Cash is king nowadays 😂
price different is massive, plus technological advance in haval. resale value also u will surprise there is maybe u loss more in selling crv than u sell haval .
Malaysian never know the consequences of fighting price and suppliers. If getting more CN car in with their cheap spare parts, domestic business will impact. This is something like CN market now they fight too much of price causing quality drop and a lot business bankrupt. I don't anti any car brand , is good to have competitors however when something too over need to be balance. I know JP car been concur market for long time, need to have competitor but not good which future all CN car no more other competitors.
u talk too much, to malaysia... they care only the resale value. next year, someone will dump a H6 with 87K at carlist, mudah, motortrader, carsome, etc

Even the horn is louder too from the Haval H6! For a almost RM200k Honda, the horn is EMBARRASSING 😢. Not trying to nitpick but it's a fact.
Wow you can read the brochure. Congrats. So smart.
so go and tell everyone around you, to make the right choice, could you?
brand H ma.. awek suka ma... 😂😅
Malaysian hype to japanase car is so weird. Honda so yesterday technology
Crv at almost 200k is just ridiculous 😂

Honda has been having issues with steering racks since the first generation of 1.5 turbo CRV. Not assuring
Very clear and precise comparison

Haval h6 for sure.
56k difference ... hands down Haval wins
Hardly a comparison. Haval is a more sensible choice. Nice review. Thanks
Thanks for a short and informative video, and also useful comparison..

How to buy crv at nearly 200k? It’s ridiculous.
Haval H6 ofcos. A no brainer choice.

h6 win for it power and nice interior

Hi Adrian, can you share your view about 2nd row passenger comfort level against the main C segment ICE/EV/HEV models?

Based on your formula, do a similar simulation for the Honda CRV eHEV 😊?

Wow haval 🎉
what's the real world fuel consumption
Thanks for the video, definitely prefer the haval h6
its quick fair comparison btw h6 and crv. Another channel hondamachi very ridiculous to compare btw h6 and corrola cross.

How much are u guys getting paid to do this comparison video. A few automotive media started to release such content
obviously Toyota struggles to pay while having significant higher price tag
This is called marketing. Nothing wrong with that. Pick what you like.
Haval for me. Japanese era is ↘️
If I have 200 K I would still take a CRV ...Haval hybrid is still relatively new with no or little records in reliability and durability...
Not in Malaysia. But its been around in Thailand and few other countries for almost 5 years now including the hybrid variant.
price different is massive, plus technological advance in haval. resale value also u will surprise there is maybe u loss more in selling crv than u sell haval .
The Aussies loved Haval H6 in Australia...
You gotta check out Aussie review on H6
waiting 2nd hand china.always drop like korean car.
I'd go for the Honda, still. Not ready for a China-branded car regardless of the cost savings.
U will never go wrong with CRV. Legendary... Haval? Nahhhh. Probably in next 5years their dont exist anymore. 😂😂😂😂
Ya Honda need fanboy like u😂
crv looks so much premium than the china made.
Nah...with all the cheap plastic interiors...and the worse part was the front bumper signal..😂
@@whipcream003 Looks premium? But is the CRV worth that additional RM60k+ ?
