As soon as the Lion's new model came out, all I could ever see was Charles Dance. This just proves that he is the Lion
Last time when somebody countermanded the Lion (I think it was Nemiel) had been beheaded by Jonson's fist blade
Lion on an imperial world to reveal himself to the Imperium: "Greetings citizens, I am Lion El Jonson and I would like to know just what the hell is going o... IS THAT A FUCKING CHURCH?!"
Jokes aside if we ever we get a tv show starring the dark angels, Charles Dance would be a great choice for Lion el Jhonson
The fact even his model looks like Charles Dance, it's really a perfect match
You can face banishment from the kingdom!
"Shit" - hearing that from a dark angel is hilarious as I always thought of them as the classic British knights in a secret order speaking proper, high english.
Cypher and Alpharius are ready to play the greatest game of amongus we have ever seen.
*We will never see
Anyone else saw the new model and thought. "O look, theres Tywin Lannister"?
If anyone wonders, this is clipped from a movie called "Your Highness"
He's perfect for it. Absolutely perfect.
I don't think he's too happy about his sons still keeping the whole "half pur legion turned traitor" after 10,000 years
Okay, hear me out. Charles Dance as the Lion.
I can definitely see him having a powerful presence in the Warhammer movie (if it ever gets made). He just projects strength.
What's that with Charles Dance and disapponting sons?
Charlws danse as The Lion, is the perfection that Fulgrim could never reach.
The fact that the model looks like Charles Dance himself is funnier

"I did survive a 1V1 against Kharn."
"Ok, that's actually pretty good."
your masking is so good 👍
I love how he just rolls his eyes in annoyance as the Alpha legion spy just reveals himself. Not concern just vague annoyance.
Its amazing how everyone just accepted Lion look like Charles, so house Lannister is Dark Angels
I kinda wish (eventhough it was aimed at kids) they did a Clone Wars / Bad Batch series in the 40k universe, doesent have to be marines could just be guardsman or even a tau (filthy) squad that gets into different combat situations and stuff
I don't know, Clone Wars got away with a lot of stuff, even if some were implied, e.g. a clone getting cut in half by a metal door...😬
@@SWProductions100 I'm pretty sure there was a few on screen headshots and broken necks too, that show was fucking brutal.
Crazy thing is this is still better parenting than Tywin does to any of his kids. XD
These are great! Charles Dance is a close runner up to Alex Jones as my favorite in these bits. Also, it's hilarious when people eat or drink while suited up. Kills me every time.
Charles Dance was actually the first person I thought could play Legion I primarch.
This works so well on so many levels! 🦁👌
Charles Dance as Lion El'Johnson is actually pretty perfect.
i love that after a lot of time getting deeper into the lore im able to get this lol
The Man would be the perfect Malcador
Someone needs to do some Charles Dance AI voice to the Lions quotes.
Ballsy manouver by the Alpha Legionnaire to infiltrate the Rock. The sons of the Lion are notoriously paranoid and one of the few forces capable of going toe-to-toe with the XX° Legion in a matter of cloak & dagger. It's difficult sneaking up somebody that always keeps the guard up and suspects skullduggery afoot.
Cypher and Alpharius cameo is a stroke of Genius
What movie is this from? I haven’t seen Tywin’s actor in anything but GOT.
Oh hai! Nice start of this video! (I painted it, for the Warzone: Curse of the Wulfen book. It's one of my absolute favourite illustrations I have made to date. :) /David
I had no idea, I was looking through the Warhammer Wiki for a contextualising image to use and yours immediately stood out for its striking composition and great sense of scale. I've added an accreditation to the top of the video description about you if that's alright?
@@WoodImp That's very nice of you. Not why I commented but very much appreciated. Generally speaking when I have made something for GW they tend to not credit me (it's just "internal art" in their books 😊) But I do tend to comment when I see vids with my art in it because I appreciate people using it.
Here's a tidbit of info that isn't known much- The top of the Rock, the "back" of it, so to speak, is based off the tower of the Cathedral of Antwerp, where I live, and in the shadow of this cathedral lies the local GW store 😁 -D
This is what needs to happen to every chapter.
