Goddamn this was good! This is how the Guard gets things done! Heavy vehicle support and sheer balls! Love that they made an actual plan and that everyone had roles to play in it. Almost got ruined by the single Space Marine but even then, it just showcases how dangerous a single Marine is. And still that one Marine was taken out by having people where they needed to be and doing their job. Competency on all sides here even if the Guard is winning right now. Love to see it. Didn't expect to get a Steel Coffins today but very happy with the surprise. Doing the Emperor's Work!
Yep, really loved that the Marine isn't just a brainless beserker, his shots take out the vehicles optics, then he goes for the second tanks mobility once he's in close so you see what a danger even a lone Astartes poses to a mechanised force who can't bring weapons to bare of have lost mobility

I agree that the Marine probably stabbed through the viewport- if nothing else, he showed excellent aim in every attack, even if he got a hilariously bad K/D ratio against Guardsmen. Then again, Tallarn formations are absurdly elite for what they are.
@@cakeboss4194 It's not too bad, around 9 Guardsmen (assuming the Russ had 4 standard crew +2 sponsoon gunners) inc the driver of the second, 1 Leman Russ as a complete kill, 1 as a mobility which still had to be scuppered. That lone Chaos Marine definately made his points back.

Most people would probably just have them be a mindless screaming berserker, but you have to remember that Chaos Space Marines are hardened veterans of war with just as much, if not more, tactical brilliance as their loyalist counterparts.

Tanks supported by mechanized infantry, recon actually doing recon stuff, Astarties being complete menance on battlefield = deadly and fast, mechanicus adept taking 2 shots of bolter to chest and just shrugging it off. Great.
I just love the spiteful display of the tech priest - “gotta make sure it’s dead by blowing the head off with plasma at point blank range” XD Perfectly in character after witnessing the heretic take down a holy machine!

Yes but warrants space marines showing up to help
That Red Corsair was putting in work.
Its always refreshing to see W40k content set in an environment that isn't a city, ship, or jungle. It may be a grimdark universe but the damn environments you always see could use more variety.
This is a well-made and well-researched piece.
Lol an astartes just knifed through frontal tank armor.
There is this meme of a guardsmen receiving a planet for the stc fragment of a knife.
This showcases why lmao.
Actually Hi think he stapped trough the Driver veiwport, which would definitely much less armoured and is positioned left of the frontal bolter, so basically where the marines attacked.
@@maddlarkin Points maybe, but a single Astartes would have had decent odds of tearing apart that formation when vision was good let alone inside a sandstorm. Their reputation is not for nothing.
Damn the astartes hitting the optics and systematically disabling every russ was amazing and I really liked the love fot the techpriests
The unemotional double tap by the tech priest was nice..
Ah sweet, another episode. And 7:30 long? Cybeck, you made my day. I'm gonna enjoy watching all episodes again. Love the work mate, well done!
I love how you handled the Chaos Marine. Freakishly fast, extremely accurate, and immediately knows exactly what to do to disable the enemy tank. Most people would probably just have them be a mindless screaming berserker, but you have to remember that Chaos Space Marines are hardened veterans of war with just as much, if not more, tactical brilliance as their loyalist counterparts.
Finally, the courage, outside the Death Korps, being shown and represented. Very well done! And the Techpriest . The Representation of the Traitor marine and how beastly they are, alone, versus the tanks - awesome.
The seriousness of the lone traitor marine was on point.
Every heretic astartes be gangsta till the plasma cutter and cannon rounds come out
I am so stoked - and also glad to be a (small) part of this project!
Somehow I disbelief, that a tank in this desert enviroment has little enough ground pressure to not sink in. Dark Tech magic I guess. Awesome animation btw very impressed!
This was so letter perfect to the 40K lore with the Chaos Space Marine, Tech Priest and Tallarn armored unit. Thank you!
Was so happy to hear "Switching to Hotshot packs." Like "YES!" Hotshot Las weapons/Hellguns are a thing I haven't seen mentioned much. Would probably still need several shots to punch through power armor but that's still better than using the average lasgun against a traitor marine.
They're lucky it was just a single heretic Astartes, and they had a Tech Priest that stopped it long enough for a tank to shoot it.
Great animation, and I love (as many people already stated) that everyone was tactical.
Tanks supported by mechanized infantry, recon actually doing recon stuff, Astarties being complete menance on battlefield = deadly and fast, mechanicus adept taking 2 shots of bolter to chest and just shrugging it off.
Great.
Nous roulons pour Cybeck ! Et nous ne connaîtrons pas la peur !
Techpriest casually being the MVP and sensible to double tap.
Its so cool to see Astra Militarum and Adeptus Mechanicus working together to take down Chaos Astartes. ❤
I love the sergeant getting a second of shuteye the moment he gets a chance.
Omnissiah's Blessings upon that Tech-priest. Stood his ground against a traitor and took an arm off.
All the tank designs are incredibly cool, especially the amx13 chimeras
Attention to detail is awesome; I love how formidable a single Astartes can be to mere humans.
not every day I get to see just how tanky a tech priest can be. Also liked that he made sure to double tap.
My face is my shield !
Ok now eat ap to the face
I have witnessed the rare instance of a tech-priest on the front!
You want to keep them close to your most important vehicles to get that sweet 4+ invulnerable save! 😁
I just love the spiteful display of the tech priest - “gotta make sure it’s dead by blowing the head off with plasma at point blank range” XD Perfectly in character after witnessing the heretic take down a holy machine!
The Techpriest boy is a hero, stood his ground far longer than any man could against astartes.
A small detail I really appreciate is the captions - my hearing isn't so great these days, and I'm glad I can easily follow conversations in the video.
When an AMX kills an Astartes. Great Work.
Loved the way they were almost panicking because of just one Astartes. Very good Animation videos. Keep it up!
Only critique I would have is that they are so damn short but I can imagine that it is a lot of work to be done.
Nice touch on the tech priest. The dude was realistically the only one that had a chance.
Daaaammmmnnnnnn!!!!!! That was absolutely PHUCKIN SICK! I actually had to re-watch it like 3 times before I realized that the tech priest is basically a walking tank all on its own.
I like the tech priest. very efficient, not afraid to scrap a tank in order to spite the enemy of the omnissiah, plus he held his own against a traiter marine and double tapped him just to be safe.
Lezgooo !
Glad to have been able to help you again with the music and sound design, it's always a pleasure. Congratulations for the release !
🗣🗣🗣 *GASTON ! GASTON ! GASTON !*
Awesome work Gaston
0:29 Captain Picard is now a a Sgt and a tank commander.
Dude, this is awesome.
Please keep these coming.
I like how the tech priest made SURE the traitor astartes was dead.
Is a good procedure, and tech priests love procedures.
Loved this! So happy the Enginseer survived
Well done! Another absolutely entertaining 40k Story!
I know I've told you before, but the Mechanicus dude corner checking that marine is the best.
"This is Captain Picard of the Leman Russ, Enterprise, and I command you to stand down!!!"
This is so heartworming to see such fathfull take on our beloved universe! Love your Steel Coffins more than anything GW made for last years.
This whole series to date has been a work of art!
The tactics displayed here are far and above the normal portrayal of Guard, which is a blessing. That solid block tank advance, protecting the Chimeras with the bigger Russes is perfect guard doctrine. Awesome indeed
MOAR PLZ! haha
I genuinely can’t believe people complain about something that’s being put out as a, I personally think impressive and well done, passion project for a background, I imagine if you’re here watching, we all like. It’s also free! Nobody has taken your money for you to watch this, it is free Warhammer content we all love done independently, and to a great standard.
what a pleasant surprise to stumble over :)
you had me cheering when I heard VoxInTheVoid :D
Great work
Techpriests are often portrayed as fragile and unable to fight, its nice to see them fighting competently enough to pretty much disarm and mortally wound a chaos marine by themselves. Dont fuck with the people who literally made you
Yea they might not be able to win a 1v1 but they can put up a better fight than most.
Enginseers are almost always looked down upon by other tech priests, but they can certainly open a can of whoop ass when they need to.
Been waiting for this. Good to see you back! The Emperor Protects :3
Command... The Red Corsairs are here.
was that really a red corsair? i couldnt tell
@@scratthesquirrel5242 at 6:46 you can see the warband symbol on the pauldron.
Something I really like about this animation is, unironically, the Voice Procedure on the radios. Sounds almost exactly like what you’d hear on an actually net.
Yes! This was amazing and THIS is what I want from Imperial Guard stuff and 40k as a whole!
Well that was an unexpected pleasure to get the premiere by accident ^^ Very well made, good depecition of an enginseer going balistic when his tanks got dammaged :D
This is a huge step up in scale and animation work, great stuff
Seeing other regiments like the Tallarn makes my heart very happy! Amazing work!
the voice acting is pleassently good, and the animation is also great quality, love the characters personalities too, awesome awesome work!!
Easily the best of the mini series so far! The Tech Priest was amazing. More please! Entertainment level = 10 out of 10.
When the world needeed him most, he returned
I am absolutely enamored with this series, Imperial Armor does not get enough love in my opinion. Between this and the Baneblade/ Shadowsword books I'm tempted to get back to finishing my army
Love me some combined arms. Beautiful work!
That is one badass tech priest!! love to see the red corsairs get time in the spotlight too!
This was truly amazing on every level. No single detail was wasted!
the teck priest is good
makes sure that the "dead" are really dead
Mah boi enginseer throwing hands with a chaos space marine!
LOVE IT!!!
killer, dude. excellent work. Ave Imperator.
First, also glad to be part of this project!
Seconded. o7
Blessed by another episode.
Thank you for this absolutely amazing fan art !
Mantis Warrior: A Red Corsair fell to a Tech-Priest?!
Executioner:....I did not expected that the Astral Claws could fell so low
Lamenters: For once we are not the unlucky one!
(The Executioner and Mantis Warrior stare at each other)
Wow! This is amazing. Don't let GW know.
That was amazing! Really good stuf and excellent story telling
So good thank you guys for fighting the good fight and bringing this to the real fans of 40k dispite GWs bullshit, WE DIE STANDING!
AWESOME!!! Especially dialogues, thank you much! :))
This was amazing! So good, even the attention put into the Voice procedure on the vox, makes it a lot more authentic. So well made.
