You could’ve used the boot carpet for reference on an entire piece of board then just cut it down the middle for an easy fit to the frame but good job 👍
I’ve just bought an oem false floor from JC club sport, guy in the uk. Was £140 delivered to the Isle of Man and £100 if you’re In uk, looks very flush! Would recommend
Good job done mate! Bet your girlfriend not happy with you spending all day and into the evening on the fiesta lol! If I were you, to cover the boards, I'd personally go for the thin contract cord carpet you often see in offices, really easy to keep clean and cut to shape with a stanley knife, and easy to glue down with spray adhesive. In black it would match the plastics in the back of the car. Great channel btw mate, keep it up.
Interesting build there. I may recommend you sealing up the high level brake light. Water is prone to going through the gaps and coming in where the boot latch is
@@Jmncarter I think you can get a seal to put around the high level brake light outside. You don't want rain water going through the gaps of it then coming in from the boot hatch down to the wood you put in 👍
@@zaink7037 yeah mate I get ya. Dont wanna damage the mdf or whatever. Will defo check that out. Also wanting to buy a new 3rd brake light which is perfect condition to custom build it and add an led strip light 👍
@@Jmncarter that would be cool. I'm thinking of replacing the bulb on mine to LED to match the brake lights on the side. I believe it's the same fitting as the reverse light.
Sick DIY ngl, especially for those Fiesta ST vans! I have a 6.5 Style like what you used to have and it only has 30k miles from new, personally I work more on computers than cars but hopefully I'll get a few light mods on mine soon. Might sound like a strange question but think it would be interesting to ask, is a steering wheel upgrade on the cards for your ST150 at all? I saw a post on some forum from 2017 where somebody managed to install a Mk7 Fiesta wheel into their Mk6 Fiesta which was seemingly impossible, it would be a challenge but I think it would be awesome if you could somehow get an ST180 steering wheel to install into the ST150, even if you can't use the multifunction buttons on the steering wheel for whatever reason. If you want as well, I can send you the link to where I found out about the steering wheel mod - except there isn't a guide on how it was done.
Cheers buddy 👍 that sounds a great base of a car to do a few nice subtle mods on. With the steering wheel I think eventually I will be getting the normal st150 wheel custom made. Wanting a flat bottom with a nice bit of alcantara material on it too. Think it will look great and also suit the car a lot more than the st180 steering wheel imo 👌
I was thinking of that 😂😂 been looking about but just thinking 2 normal speakers and the space behind the speakers will kind of make it similar to a sub 😂
@@Jmncarter nothing much, just cosmetics really changing the colour of the wheels, plastic trims, that kind of thing, I'm just a bit too lazy and have a lack of knowledge to do it 😂😂
Hey what profile tyres you got there? Just bought mine St 150 and there profile 50 on coilovers and tyres slightly touching wheel arches I guess.. Sorry for bad English Thanks

This is brilliant, love how the car is coming along and that's a lot of work done, turned out great tbh and can't wait to see the finished product.

Cheers for the advice mate, does sound a good shout
You should do a mod list + look around the car. Ive a fiesta mk6 celebration and am looking to do bits to it. 👌
Good shout mate

What head light bulbs are you using my friend????
Put a subwoofer in the panel (in the foot wells) behind the seats!

I have 45's on mine mate. Think people normally go with 40's on the st150 alloys tho
Thanks man

You going to install a cossie manifold? I just got one and going to install it on Wednesday
