My family watched Vandy play one game a few days ago then the first game of the finals last night. The "Whistler" was prominent during both of those games. Because of him seven of us won't be watching any more Vandy games. I wonder how many people have left Vandy's fan base because of the "Whistler".
This guy is annoying as hell. That whistle grates my nerves. Monday night I was at CWS., I started the game cheering for Vandy as I like to back the SEC. By the end of the game, I was hoping Vandy would get beat so they’d go home all the sooner and take that annoying SOB with them. By the way, I was sitting in left field; Whistler was behind 1st base; and it was like he was whistling in my ear. ANNOYING!!
Remember kids, if you dedicate yourself to learn how to whistle really really loud like this legend, you can then save your voice while still being able to irritate everyone within ear shot.

I highly doubt it. Vandy doesn’t have much to cheer for in athletics besides baseball, so it’s the one thing they have.
