Machan I am planning to buy a "capable offroader" under 35 lakhs. My choices are RAV4 like 2002, Montero Sport 2003. CRV also another option but I don't like the car look in that price range. Do you think it is safe to buy a Montero sport that old? I love the RAV4 but Montero Sport has the better ground clearance and 7 seats. I have no doubts about the RAV4's reliability. But I am unaware of Montero Sports. Please help me with your opinion.

Do consider about Daihatsu Terios 2nd generation model ( rebadge version - Toyota Rush ) . That vehicle also have true 4WD capability... as well as it's good for on roads... I think it's a better option you could go for rather than buying a 17+ old vehicle - Tharaka

This is not the 3rd generation of montero, Turbo intercooler is 3rd one and, and mahaththaya monetro(1997/8 manufactured) and it is 4th generation. This is 5th generation.
