Let's be honest. That was the least of the issue in 84, 84 was one of the worst superhero movies ever. I would even argue that green lantern was better than 84. They has so much potential, should have stuck to the same formula as the first one. Smh

The reason I think the green lanterns may have not been in the fight is probably a version of emerald twilight occurred before man of steel.
It would be more interesting without the continual added dialogue.
