I got burned out when DC started the reboot thing with Superman and Batman so many times. But then the Wonder Woman movie came out and I had already fell in love with Gal Gadot in a couple other movies I saw so I decided to watch some of these once more. DC has begun to up their game and make the story lines better by far and more realistic. Never had any problems with Marvel comic movies but DC seriously needed an overhaul. Glad they're finally getting it right. A thought: What if the entire world became an apocalyptic zone and ALL of DCs characters AND Marvel's characters bonded together to fight an intergalactic SUPER FOE? DC really needs to completely jettison any spawned from Zack Snyder. Clearly, he has only every read TDKR and believes that embodies the entire DC universe. And a Flash costume that doesn't look like he has Pop Tarts glued all over him would be great.
His Watchemen movie was pretty good though. Other than that, I wish he wasn't responsible for the direction of any other super hero movie. The 300/Watchmen/Suckerpunch style really just doesn't seem to suit how he adapts it other movies.

Reeves Superman endured the same as Cavills, growing up. Just Reeves Superman showed up when he was ready to be Superman after hes lecture from his father with a journey to the galaxy for years. Theres that montage with Jor-El telling young Kal-El about everything. Cavills just got his suit on and information about his heritage as an adult, closely followed by Zods invasion. How Cavills Superman is percieved has been the theme all the time, is he a danger or not, is he to hellp or not, also with Cavills Superman, what is it he wants with these kind of powers. Cavills Superman isnt Reeves Superman yet, though he still tried to do Reeves Superman as we got a glimps in MoS and mostly in BvS. Supes coming back to life will make him even more better and closer to what we used to back in decades ago,
Hmm, you seem to imply that Cavill has not shown any moral or honor or heart.I think the films so far have done a great job of showing how those "morals" are easily challenged...and it's not as easy to be Superman (or Kal or Clark) like the Chris reeves movie make it. One of my favorite scenes from Man of Steel was when the jerk at the diner Clark worked at poured coffee all over Clark's head, then tried to shove him, but Clark didn't react at all (at least not in the moment). Its not easy to just "have morals". Its about how true to them you are when they are challenged, and thats what makes MoS and BvS so cool to me so far. He didn't want to kill Zod... he didn't want to fight Batman... in the end he sacrificed himself to save a nation of people who criticize him, because that is what he believed was right... So back to the original comment, I think the morals, honor, and heart are there, and its not just "gloomy depressed superman" 24/7 as everyone is describing And the religious motifs are kind of new to me, so I quite enjoy them. I've never been a big superman fan til now. So I apologize if I dont know what i'm talkinga bout and if the jesus theme really is repeated in too many mediums. I think for the sake of the DCEU and where the narrative of the entire universe is headed, it needed to be done, and I thought it was done beautifully.

I think DC should add more villain movies too like a deathstroke and deadshot movie balancing out the hero and villain movies treating their villains like much more than disposable bad guys that show up just as a substitute character. This would be a breath of fresh air in comic book movies.

DC needs to calm the fuck down. Like, stop planning so far ahead, and don't try catching up to Marvel for Christ sakes. Develop the movies as well as you can, and make sure you get it right, like Christopher Nolan's Batman, and what marvel does. Then, once you have a significant story for each character, then, bring them together. That or at least try to take time in developing something, not rushing it and trying to make it a cash cow
It probably helps that Marvel has its own film studio dedicated to making its films. Unfortunately for DC, they don't and as such are under the direct supervision of Warner Brothers, leading to a lot more studio interference

Deathstroke was announced in this movie. - *Aquaman* was a huge hit and the first to hit a billion dollars. - *Shazam!* is played by Zachary Levi and Billy Babson is played by Asher Angel (if that's his name) and Black Adam is still played by The Rock, but not set to be the main villain. - *Green Lantern Corps* comes out 2020 (I think) and is also set to feature Kilowog and Jessica Cruz. - *The Flash* movie was pushed back to 2021 and is now known as a Flashpoint movie maybe to reset the franchise. - *Cyborg* has not much information and wasn't really in Justice League. - *The Batman* set for 2021 and Ben Affleck is totally out. Not much else. - *Dark Universe* Not much known. But not Matt Ryan. - *Gotham City Sirens* is I think set for 2021. Margot Robbie is still confirmed for the role. - *Justice League 2* isn't even confirmed as an official project anymore. - *Man of Steel 2* doesn't seem as a a project anymore for Cavill's status in the World's. - *Suicide Squad 2* is set for 2020 and no one from the first one (except maybe Harley Quinn) is set for it. - *Deadshot* probably not happening. - *Black Adam* not much known. - *Lobo* not much known. You pretty much got the gist but I have a few tweaks, Wonder Woman sequel titled wonder woman 1984 will come out on June 5th, 2020 and will introduce Cheetah played by Kristen Wiig Suicide squad 2 will be called “The Suicide Squad” and it will be more of a soft reboot rather than a sequel. Release date is set for August 6th, 2021 Black Adam is not set to appear in the Shazam movie but his standalone will show his struggle from slavery and is set to start shooting in late 2019 Aquaman 2 is confirmed and in the works, James wan is negotiating a deal to possibly direct again. An aquaman spin-off movie will be made about the trench and the trench monsters not much else is known. We will definitely see deathstroke again in either a stand-alone movie or in the batman movie but the actor has confirmed that he’s still in the works and we’ll see deathstroke again. Green Lantern Corps is way too optimistic for 2020, highly unlikely they’re going to stick to that release date. And also, a super pets animated movie will come out in 2020 “Batman : Hush” and “Wonder Woman : Bloodlines “ are two more animated movies that will come out in 2019.
And also I forgot, the penguin is set to appear in the batman movie. It was also reported that there will be another major villain appearing which I feel is most likely Deathstroke.

I saw all the dc movies in theaters and i had a good experience. I will rate all the dceu movies so far.. 5. Suicide Squad I didnt like this movie too much. There wasnt any real character development. The first 20 minutes were just people eating steak and stuff. Batman didnt really need to be in it. Joker was basically a zombie and i HATE jared leto 4. Man of Steel This movies opening scene was pretty cool. The rest of the movie was kinda boring and the third act was kinda confusing and just too much 3. Batman v Superman I actually really liked this movie. The first act was kinda boring and stuff. But the final act made up for it. I also liked how Batman just KICKED SUPES ASS! I really enjoyed that scene and was for me one of the most memorable scenes in the dceu. I dont know why people hate this movie. 2. Justice League Although it wasnt what i hoped it would be i liked it. I saw it on the day it came out and enjoyed it. Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg were kinda thin but i hope their standalone movies will make up for it. I am really excited for Aquaman and i like the fact that James Wan is in the directors chair. I love The Conjuring and James Wans action sequences. 1. Wonder Woman I loved this movie and it had interesting characters and comedy was on point. How Cavills Superman is percieved has been the theme all the time, is he a danger or not, is he to hellp or not, also with Cavills Superman, what is it he wants with these kind of powers. Cavills Superman isnt Reeves Superman yet, though he still tried to do Reeves Superman as we got a glimps in MoS and mostly in BvS.

Hmm, you seem to imply that Cavill has not shown any moral or honor or heart.I think the films so far have done a great job of showing how those "morals" are easily challenged...and it's not as easy to be Superman (or Kal or Clark) like the Chris reeves movie make it. One of my favorite scenes from Man of Steel was when the jerk at the diner Clark worked at poured coffee all over Clark's head, then tried to shove him, but Clark didn't react at all (at least not in the moment). Its not easy to just "have morals". Its about how true to them you are when they are challenged, and thats what makes MoS and BvS so cool to me so far. He didn't want to kill Zod... he didn't want to fight Batman... in the end he sacrificed himself to save a nation of people who criticize him, because that is what he believed was right... So back to the original comment, I think the morals, honor, and heart are there, and its not just "gloomy depressed superman" 24/7 as everyone is describing
And the religious motifs are kind of new to me, so I quite enjoy them. I've never been a big superman fan til now. So I apologize if I dont know what i'm talkinga bout and if the jesus theme really is repeated in too many mediums. I think for the sake of the DCEU and where the narrative of the entire universe is headed, it needed to be done, and I thought it was done beautifully.

As for a lot of the meaning and the bar scene. Deeper levels. There are moments when I'm like YES!!! Spot on! Like you mention in mos. that bar scene. Too bad the masses and mainstream audience are entirely too brain dead to appreciate that. They were too busy on the Martha thing... (and totally missed what Martha really meant. But whatever their loss I suppose) otherwise I'm also referencing superman returns. Mos and bvs. Not all in the same universe but all have that Jesus symbolism/metaphor or whatnot. I do think they clearly deconstructed the superhero in order to show his progression to that level rather than just "poof" he's superman. Which is nice. I do appreciate it. But then they get carried away with posing him in space as if on the cross or persecution or bowing before him after saving the child in slow motion or woman reaching out toward the heavens as an angel (superman) floats down to save her. All this Jesus stuff to me distracts from showing who superman the character is and instead confuses people into only seeing "superjesus" as so many people on TH-cam make fun of him for. DC needs to calm the fuck down. Like, stop planning so far ahead, and don't try catching up to Marvel for Christ sakes. Develop the movies as well as you can, and make sure you get it right, like Christopher Nolan's Batman, and what marvel does. Then, once you have a significant story for each character, then, bring them together. That or at least try to take time in developing something, not rushing it and trying to make it a cash cow
It probably helps that Marvel has its own film studio dedicated to making its films. Unfortunately for DC, they don't and as such are under the direct supervision of Warner Brothers, leading to a lot more studio interference

- *Wonder Woman* was received real well, the sequel coming in 2020.
- *Justice League* was received negatively and no sequel has been a announced. Deathstroke was announced in this movie.
- *Aquaman* was a huge hit and the first to hit a billion dollars.
- *Shazam!* is played by Zachary Levi and Billy Babson is played by Asher Angel (if that's his name) and Black Adam is still played by The Rock, but not set to be the main villain.
- *Green Lantern Corps* comes out 2020 (I think) and is also set to feature Kilowog and Jessica Cruz.
- *The Flash* movie was pushed back to 2021 and is now known as a Flashpoint movie maybe to reset the franchise.
- *Cyborg* has not much information and wasn't really in Justice League.
- *The Batman* set for 2021 and Ben Affleck is totally out. Not much else.
- *Dark Universe* Not much known. But not Matt Ryan.
- *Gotham City Sirens* is I think set for 2021. Margot Robbie is still confirmed for the role.
- *Justice League 2* isn't even confirmed as an official project anymore.

We will definitely see deathstroke again in either a stand-alone movie or in the batman movie but the actor has confirmed that he’s still in the works and we’ll see deathstroke again.

I didnt like this movie too much. There wasnt any real character development. The first 20 minutes were just people eating steak and stuff. Batman didnt really need to be in it. Joker was basically a zombie and i HATE jared leto

I actually really liked this movie. The first act was kinda boring and stuff. But the final act made up for it. I also liked how Batman just KICKED SUPES ASS! I really enjoyed that scene and was for me one of the most memorable scenes in the dceu. I dont know why people hate this movie.

Although it wasnt what i hoped it would be i liked it. I saw it on the day it came out and enjoyed it. Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg were kinda thin but i hope their standalone movies will make up for it. I am really excited for Aquaman and i like the fact that James Wan is in the directors chair. I love The Conjuring and James Wans action sequences.
