When I found out he stepped away due to the tragedy no father should ever experienced, made me appreciate his work in his Cut more and understand his drive to finish what he started for his daughter.
@@brandonbumby2356 same man and the way wb fucked over Zack and making Joss fuck up Zack’s vision with his reshoot to sabotage his vision is so fucked up and well let’s just say wb didn’t even watch the Snyder cut so they didn’t know shit about what anything in that movie meant especially when Barry reversed time
That is a common theme in his films, dating back to 2004's Dawn of the Dead. When everyone was sitting around the table in the mall asking what they were best at and what there Job was before Zombpocalypse, Michael (Jake Webber) said he was best at being a dad. Snyder's films revolve around family, also until his daughter died he had 8 kids. So something tells me Zack may have had parental issues when he was younger or was raised in a home that family was always put first. Which made me think he should direct one Fast & Furious film because of the FAMILY theme. Although, word is he vowed no more PG-13 films.
One minor change I really like about the Snyder cut is how Aquaman no longer hates cyborg and instead deeply empathises with him and the loss of his father. It feels much more believable than just hating on him and further adds context to how Aquaman loves his own father.
Aquaman accuses cyborg of working for darkseid after he rescued them and the scientists. Also in joss's cut he didn't “just hate on him” but actually had a reason, since cyborgs arm malfunctioned. (Instead of it being a self defense mechanism that works on superman, but not on steppenwolf or darkseid)
@@Backfisch5927yeah, but that was it. After Cyborg explained himself, Aquaman was never a dick anymore to Cyborg. Even after Cyborg attacked Superman, Aquaman was much more sympathetic and less douchy towards Victor. So I still much prefer Snyder's version.
Lol. I thought the same thing. Both the parties are like - let's protect it and men are like - "u know what put it a box and bury it". Ironically the men box was the only one not found steppenwolf.
To be fair, the hideout of the guardians would be the first place you'd look at. If I had something you wanted and I hid it somewhere in Alaska's soil, you'd struggle to find it too.
Josstice league: *Superman are the strongest member, that's why he so important* Snyder cut: *Everyone is important, that's why they are strong together*
I still remember that massive campaign that they did with Josstice League with the tagline "You can't save the world alone", and proceed to slap all of us with that final act where superman does everything better than anybody (beating steppenwolf, rescuing civillian, and separating the boxes).
"Whether you love or hate Zack Snyder as a filmmaker at least he knows how to be respectful to these characters in terms of how they have been established" Filmento spewing facts
HAHAHAAHAHAHAHA. No..... "[H]e knows how to be respectful to these characters in terms of how [he has] established [them]." (Which is what Filmento actually said [in this Universe, basically the same], and is VERY true) Anyone who's read a single Superman Comic knows that Zack Snyder doesn't give two ***** about Superman. He wanted Superman to be Rorschach. That being said, this shows - CATEGORICALLY - that Zack Snyder is an exponentially better film-maker than Joss Wheedon.
Are you certain about that? I mean, Batman kills constantly in a non “Lost your way” storyline back in BvS. It may just be one example, but it’s a biggie. Maybe he did better in this film (I haven’t seen it yet) but he hasn’t done it *perfectly,* to say the least. Also, Superman was changed to “Symbol of Hope” to a kind of depressed character that only cares for Lois Lane. As I said, it’s probably more well-adapted in The Snyder Cut, and Superman was still decently well-adapted, but it’s still not really a perfect adaptation, nor is it what Superman was and stood for.
I would like to add something. In the Snyder Cut almost everything is set up properly. Nothing comes out of nowhere. Even Flash's ability to turn back time is properly set up, as they discussed it earlier in the movie. He said himself, that he has a rule to never go near the speed of light, as physics.exe stops working. And he cannot predict what kind of ramifications that could have. The fear of resurrecting superman is instilled in them by the motherbox itself, which is really cool.
You're right. I did wonder whether Flash screwed up the timing of reaching the motherboard when resurrecting superman as well. He approaches just as the box breaks the surface of the liquid but then as he gets closer the box actually rises put again toward his finger as he reaches out to touch it and push it in to the liquid as he arrives. Either way it is an awesome bit of foreshadowing.
I don't think they got any profit from the first one considering it was a flop and never brought any profit for WB. And this one aint a blockbuster either since Hbo max spent 100m to complete and market it. Only way they will profit as if they get more subs and resubs from consumers.
@@PrechtGaebolgHades it doubled its budget from 300 mil to 657.9 mil not a flop but not a good justice league movie im talking 2017 not snyders cut that was awesome
One thing I loved was about the flash story. He went from running in circles trying to manage with his dad saying “He’s gotta stop running in circles wasting his potential.” While in the last minutes he stops running in circles to run towards his purpose turning time back saving the day.
This is what happens when a studio demands that a film's runtime is cut in half, demands reshoots, and opts to rush the film out without it's director because they want their bonuses.
Steppenwolf was so well acted and written in this film that in the scene when he first talks to DeSaad we can feel his desesperation and sadness to return to his home world
I love Steppenwolf, he reminds me of Zuko from Avatar. He’s done horrible things, but it’s because he just wants to go home and be accepted by his family. I wish that he actually explained to Batman and Wonder Woman why he was doing this in the first place, and maybe he’d get a redemption arc.
Same here, also it really didn't seem like a 4hour long movie as almost every scene was engaging and full of purpose.....Sadly, that rest will never come out as long as WB is run by these executives.... :(
@@jitd9716 Yeah, my dad was really disappointed to hear that and went on a rant about it so I told him that DC have really nice animated films that are better than whatever they're doing with the actor movies so...long story short we'll be watching all of them for our movie afternoon for a while. Maybe DC should stick to animations since these are really well done.
I couldn't even understand what Steppenwolf was sayin in Josstice League, tbh. He was so underwhelming; probably the flattest, driest villain I've ever seen on film. No energy, color, or charisma at all.
@@travisadams6279 There wasn't a big difference but definitely a noticeable difference. He had a cooler/more charismatic look with the armor and more beastly appearance, he had more of a personality, was more frightening, and had an actual goal and reasoning that we could understand.
@@Refining1 I liked the CGI better, thats for sure. That means the armor as well. And him trying to make something up to Darkseid is better than saying mother over n over I guess. I just wish the whole thing was better. Wish he was smarter and more menacing. The thing between him and Darkseid was explained. And that there were actual stakes for him conquering earth. Because he apparently owes 50 thousand other worlds, which is insane. And that also means even if he triumphs or falls through on earth, thats only one more. Who writes this crap? And why?
Personally, I think Steppenwolf’s design is probably the most undermentioned thing the Snyder cut does better than Josstice League, he actually looks like a super dangerous alien instead of some ancient goat man
Probably the only thing for Steppenwolf which just makes me wanna like the Josstice League version more is the eyes. Wtf was Zack thinking when he gave the cutest puppy eyes to a dangerous alien lol
Can u believe Joss Whedon even cut out the scene where Barry uses his speed to stop all the rocks from falling on the ppl Stephenwolf kidnapped, he literally said that the audience wouldn't understand what was happening an when I seen it in the Snydercut I thought it was one of the best scenes, cuz it showcased Barry's speed, Thank goodness we got the Snydercut
Filmento mentions WB cutting the "Flash saves the world" as "what else have they cut". Another example; in Wonder Woman, WB wanted to cut the "No-Man's Land" scene and Patty Jenkins had to fight to keep it in. It's now widely regarded as one of the best scenes in the movie. So yeah, WB execs are basically completely ignorant about what makes superhero movies great.
As an insider of the trucking industry I can always tell when colleges have had their graduations because every factory will suddenly start using new policies and/or suddenly get a bunch of new safety gear. The kids come out of college with their fancy new degrees and get corporate office jobs at the factories and feel like they have to thump their chests and prove themselves so, they implement a bunch of useless rules. It's probably the same thing in Hollywood. Kids get degrees. Become big shot producers for a company and just do anything - without thought - to prove that they were worth the hire. [The new safety gear and policies go unused after 6 months and collect dust in an Indiana Jones style warehouse when the kids finally become complacent.]
I genuinely can’t believe the studio (if the reports are true) saw what ZS had in mind for his own cut and turned it down. ZS’s JL isn’t perfect but it’s leagues better than JW’s. I state it again: Unbelievable.
Wonder Woman 1984 is also the product of giving a director creative freedom. The problem isn’t over who makes the decisions, the problem is simply whether the decisions are good or not.
@Andy 8583 you forgot to mention the originals too😐, The prequels still Tell a good story, the sequels Don't have that freedom and look how they turned out, worse💀
Especially with marvel , because ant-man when it came out the director was Edgar wright , the movie could've been much better than it ended being if marvel didn't take Edgar wright's creative freedom.
But he still doesn't get DC comics though. The Snyder Cut was better, but that's not saying much, it's actually pretty easy to make a better movie than Josstice League, but apparently it's too hard for Snyder to make an actually good DC movie. Directors shouldn't be constrained too much, I agree, but also get directors who understand the source material in the first place, that's another big lesson people need to learn.
Honestly? I still didn't care for him. It's really good I knew the motive behind his plan - his plan being to take over the world and his motive was to go home (as opposed to destroying the planet for the sake of it) - but I never cared because they didn't say why he would want to go home. He was hated, humiliated and expelled from his home world - why did he want to go home so badly? What was there for him to want it so badly? His actually loving family? Wealth? Fame? If my government humiliated me and kicked me out of my country I would say "fuck you". I would want to go back if my stuff/ family/ wealth or whatever was still there but they never said or implied that in the movie. Take Thanos for example. You know his plan - find the Infinity Stones. His motive? To balance the universe. Why? Because he witnessed his home world and his species being annihilated due to lack of balance.
I was so surprised to be touched by Cyborg, who I never truly felt standing out as a justice league member. The moment that he saves his father out of impulse and said “you are my father” makes me like the human side of Victor. Also, I never thought revisiting the story of reviving Superman could be so thrilling, OMG that Superman projection they put on the mother box is so inspiring
For Zack Snyder this was his closure, it still has a lot of flaws, but it's much more coherent, and for him, it was a way to find peace because he associated it with his daughter's suicide. They removed him while he was grieving, so to finish it, for Zack Snyder, it meant finding peace. You can tell how much this meant to him by the sheer number of times he thanks everyone for enabling him and by the credits when he dedicates the film to his daughter. I hope he will find happiness again.
Wow i didn't know that, this comment makes me feel strange, this movie has been the only movie that has made me feel hooked as i'm a (rookie) fan and when the easter eggs and plot twists had me so hyped, i have been struggling with suicidal/self-harming thoughts so this movie was worth staying up until 3 am with no breaks, knowing this made me feel really good and that Zack lost someone to something i'm really familiar with it's strange, yet i feel like he took my mind off the weight on my shoulders for a night, and made feel something i haven't felt in a while. Sorry for ranting it's just a funny feeling for me tbh
People need to stop saying but it's flawed or got alot of flaws about any film because every movie ever made is heavily flawed if u actually dig deep into their stories, it all depends on whether you enjoy what's being shown
The Snyder cut just made sooooo much sense. Yes, it was longer, but it finally allowed the audience to understand it all. Joss made this movie feel so much longer, and the Snyder cut being longer, I felt I could have watched it forever.
Honestly the Parademons were one of the most surprising improvements in the whole cut to me. In Marvel, there have been three spooky-alien-armies throughout the films: Chitauri from Avengers, Sakarran from GOTG, and Outriders from Infinity War. None of them got hardly any backstory or explanation other than “Free Space Army for Rent, Curtesy of Thanos.” The Snyder Cut really took me from left field with the bit about them being brainwashed souls from conquered worlds, and honestly made them far more interesting as a threat.
@@TheWarchiefZekeJaeger They were made from Apokolips. Since Steppenwolf can't go back home, we can't see them being made because he doesn't have the means to do so. He had no ship nor Hell Furnace machines to make them. He just have a swarm of them, if we follow the source material each Apokolips New God would have at least a million if not more at their disposal.
I wouldn't say parademons were improved that much, although there've been a few nice touches. Especially that one parademon who shot Barry in the final fight and secured the loss of JL if not for Barry turning back time.
Honestly, the whole time Steppenwolf was begging to go home, my cousins and I (all grown adults lol) were like "awww" and "wtf why'd they make him so cute" with his watery eyes and I felt really bad when he died in the end
I was constantly shouting out, oh that's why that happened! Like I always hated how Lois just shows up out of nowhere when Supes is resurrected, but now it made sense since she goes to the site every day. Loads of unexplained things were suddenly totally logical.
Hahaha... same thing. I was literally stopping the film to scream out exactly that. "Ohhh! That's why they did this" "ohhh! That's why she just showed up"
@@kake2978 Yes he did, but it still looked odd and evidently a patch for something else that was supposed to be there. But it also was intended (in Josstice League) to be an explainer of what Barry from the future meant when he showed up in BvS, which also looked odd and unrelated. Now we know why.
Spoilers for the ending I must say that it was a surprise to see the Martian Manhunter actually making an appereance and Leto actually was impressive as Joker for once.

What are the "old ways", Darkseid getting nearly spilt in 2 by an axe and carried off in humiliation back to his ship? ZS dropped the ball on making DSeid a menace.
Honestly, the comics, the Superman animated series, even the Injustice 2 fighting game all had better Darkseids. I was massively disappointed by him. Just another tall CG man who is evil for evils sake, with no other personality traits to describe him with, none of his trademark intelligence or wisdom to share. Just generic "badass" movie villain lines with a deep distorted voice. Instantly deflate his threat by have him easily beaten by random GC characters you have no attachment to. This is the guy who inspired Thanos. Now they made him look like the store brand knock off with this movie. You can say this is a cool line because it about the only thing he actually does. It has to be a top 5 moment, because what else does he actually do in this movie to add up to 5 moments? The worst part is this movie added a time travel deus ex machina which would have been a perfect time to showcase and tease DS for future movies. Before Flash reverses time, have DS step through the portal and "win". Have him Omega beam most of the team with easy and then go toe to toe with Superman in a fight, hands behind his back crushing him verbally before one decisive blow nocks back Superman and they stare down as the mother boxes activate. Then have flash reverse time and win as they do normally in the movie. But showing DS as an actual threat for the future, and being true to the character. I can't believe any true Darkseid fan is happy with what we actually were shown in this movie.
@@R0B1NG5 Flash also needs to die when he does it, otherwise the drama of that moment is pointless, and as you say it breaks everything since Flash can always reverse time with no consequences.
In Josstice League they treated Lois’s feelings towards Clark’s death less like she lost the person who was everything to her and more like Clark has been dead for years and Lois has gotten over his death off screen.

Made me care for Cyborg(went from me not wanting him in the movie to having him as my favorite character) Made me care for Flash(comic relief only before, now the hero of the movie) Made Batman useful(he takes down most of the Parademons and destroys the shield allowing the rest to enter) Steppenwolf is a character now(no longer a "MOTHER" boy) Superman is still OP but does not overshadow the team(yeah, he beats up Steppenwolf, but was completely powerless to stop the boxes and actually died because of it) In short, everyone was better here and they worked as a team.
7:05 I feel like this scene where the Flash reverses time to spare a few more seconds can tie in with the quote "No sacrifice, no victory", because as we know, the Flash's ability to tap into the speed force cannot revert a tampered timeline back to its original, like in the Flashpoint paradox, but makes a completely new timeline out of the tampered timeline. I agree completely that it was completely wrong to cut out what I think is the most important scene in the Justice League film, because since he made a new timeline like in the Superman resurrection scene, where he again reversed time to spare a few seconds. This would mean that Darkseid wouldn't just conquer Earth and the heroes are still alive in some way. As we see in the resurrection scene, Cyborg gets a vision of a dark future, where both Aquaman and Wonder Woman are killed by Darkseid (I'm assuming Wonder Woman was killed by Darkseid here) and Superman is turned into a slave to Darkseid with the Anti Life Equation. This actually makes sense since Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Superman are kind of the power players of the Justice League. But back to the Flash reversing time to save the Justice League scene, by reversing time, Flash may have hastened that dark future somehow or maybe an entirely new dark future was made. This was also cut out in the Justice League. And the fact that Joss Whedon chose to cut out such crucial bits and pieces of the original film makes me believe that Joss Whedon and the Christmas bonus seeking idiots at Warner bros are in fact... well, idiots. btw this is how I interpret the film and is entirely an opinion so feel free to give me shit if I'm wrong
Apart from the fact that I found Josstice Steppenwolf to be way scarier, because of both the ugly CGI and the constant perverted look he had in his eyes😂
That was actually a good point about how Joss wrote Batman the same way in and out of his suit because the MCU doesn't have secret identities I never thought about it like that

I've heard so many people say that Snyder fixed Jared Letos Joker, which i still don't like, but I think he really fixed Steppenwolf and Cyborg the most. That’s not trusting the audience. There’s the whole resuscitation scene before that which shows, and explains in an early way (before the Flashpoint movie proper that was planned for after JL), that Flash’s powers can affect time. Barry even explains it (before he shows it the first time). The explosion scene builds from that. That shows the studio didn’t trust the audience.

@@piccoloatburgerking Regarding Superman and the Justice League, the main function of the Justice League has been to cover Superman's weakness (kryptonite and magic). Essentially, because Superman has a weakness that literally depowers him, the League ensures that if some mook shoots him with a Kryptonite bullet, there will still be many strong heroes waiting to face that enemy. Superman's magic weakness also is exploitable in a manner where, in certain instances, much less strong heroes with high magic resistance are much better than Superman at handling magical villains. Wonder Woman and Aquaman are actually much stronger against mages than Superman since Superman's defense doesn't work against magic and he's vulnerable to magical control.

It’s simple: jossitice league was a studio mandated Frankenstein of a film that combines two different visions and hired a marvel director who reshoot and rewrote the whole thing to a 2 hr soulless cgi fuck fest that tries to be marvel. Snyder cut was the four hr long epic that came into existence thanks to the Snyder cut movement and the studio finally allowed Zack to complete his vision and give us the version of the film we always wanted, even if it isn’t the greatest movie in cinema.
I think that's the best summary. I think this finally establishes that Joss Wheedon is a middling director and cinematographer, and Zack Snyder is much better. Joss Wheedon should stay in his TV series with limited action, because he *cannot* direct action.

Even this choice of armor works better for Steppenwolf visually and metaphorically. He looks more menacing as if to grapple him would make you bleed. The armor being something that can be eventually ripped off can give viewers more satisfaction during a fight scene to show the damage our heroes inflict upon him. And it's a small moment, but when he finally sees Darkseid again, Steppenwolf deconstructs the armor around his head to leave himself bare out of respect. The design of the first Steppenwolf didn't allow for any of this.
Zack Snyder put the secondary theme to fatherhood makes sense now. Snyder loosing his daughter makes mention as victor loosing his father and other scenes like Aquaman missing his father as he has no one except him after his mother left them ,Barry having trouble to have a good lawyer for his father cuz he trust him so much and his father says " don't waste time to find a lawyer", superman hearing his lost father's voice first when he is ready to fly after he is been resserected from his death. Actually this movie is a gift for father's out there.

It's not like they didn't interfere with the snyder cut as well. For example, the last scene with Martian Manhunter was suposed to be 2 Green Laterns but the WB executives didn't allowed that idea
TBH, they didn't interfere enough. Here me out, but its way way way too long. Also, the color palate is way to dead. You can like it, but I'm having a hard time telling what the character's outfits color are
@@godzillakaijuboy I understand that is way to long and has excesive slow motion but you have to consider that there may not be anymore of this universe so I think Zack just threw everything he got filmed into it because they don't plan to keep going with his ideas. You are right it really does show what happens. It shows that a director can make an amazing movie that will _never_ appear in theaters. For some reason a lot of people forget that this movie must be cut in half in order to be shown in theaters. Can you image what a mess it would be if you throw away half of the scenes? No wonder Josstice league was a crap. No doubt Snyder cut would have been a crap too (although a much better one)
Note of what Snyder Cut/Original Cut already did right: 1. Continuity details from the previous movies used right instead of made fun of 2. Less joke but some of the serious scenes still have comedic elements that don't wear down the seriousness 3. Every character is useful and each played a big role 4. New characters (Aquaman, Cyborg, Flash) are properly briefly introduced and actually become this movie's emotional device as they should be (especially Cyborg since he's basically the closest to the Mother Boxes, the plot device of the movie) 5. Steppenwolf is well established as a villain 6. Mother Boxes finally explained 7. Teases towards Darkseid's entrance into the franchise are there 8. Ben Affleck's 20-years-of Batman is a no jokester 9. No more vibrant eye-killer lighting (seriously though, Josstice League's color tones really hurt my eyes in the theater) 10. Hans Zimmer's Man of Steel score's played and rescored
Shazam was a good balance of humor and terror, the deadly sins are actually horrifying and Billy Batson jokes are quick and funny, I love the gag where the villain monologues but they are so far apart Shazam can’t hear him (perfect deconstruction of that trope)
Yeah, Shazam is a very fun movie. But even for ZSJL, even tho the movie was mainly serious, there were jokes and relatively funny scenes that made me chuckle, while also fitting the movie perfectly.
Shazam! was so different than other DC movies with all of its jokes and humor. But it felt alright because it was the movie about the young boy and from the beginning it aimed into more comedy style. The problem with Josstice League is that it's very serious story, with sspecific characters and a sequel to a very dark BvS. So the jokes in Shazam! made this movie more authentic while in JL made it stupid. And in ZSJL we have a lot of jokes but they are more discrete and they feel like something what heroes could actually say in such situation.
what I love about Shazam! was that David F. Sandberg could've just disregarded what came before, but he actually decided to pay homage to it, and I respect him for it. that's why I'm pumped for Black Adam and Fury of the Gods

Agree that WB execs are idiots, but only because they let Snyder make another movie after BvS. Guy needs to go back to making his own stuff and leave the DCU alone before he kills it.
I think the moral of the story is if you spend time to give reasonable backstory on main characters and keep the narrative of the plot intact you can do a lot of other crazy stuff and still make an enjoyable movie. If the character motivations make sense and the plot is logical people will pretty much watch anything.
I think the moral of the story is that if you have no studio interference, 2 years of hindsight and audience feedback, 80+ million dollars extra in budget, no two hour directive... then yeah, you are gonna make a better movie with more backstory and character development.
@@Rodshark75 I mean, no extra scenes were shot so the 'in hindsight' argument doesn't make sense to me as it's the absolutely raw footage of his cut that we get. The 80 million dollars spent now were for the Knightmare scene shooting and twerking the CGI of the raw footage. So in 2017, using the amount of money that they spent on Elfman, Joss, Joss's crew, further extras, and the redesigning and extensive reshoots, if spent on the Snyder footage in the first place, wouldn't have amounted to a whole lot, and definitely less than 80 million dollars. Totally! I'm furious that they rushed the franchise to "keep up" with the MCU. I'm a huge MCU fan and wanted the DCEU to be its own, amazing thing. And it really could have been, if they hadn't wanted to rush into profits. Each of these characters should have gotten AT THE VERY LEAST their own standalone movies, they should have built them and the world they live in up to things like BvS and Justice League. Them restoring the Flash's accomplishment in the Snyder cut just showcases how botched the whole franchise was. Why does he get the most amazing moment he could ever have in the first movie he has any real screentime? It's a cool, moving moment but it doesn't hold the same emotional weight that similar scenes accomplished in films like Infinity War and End Game.
Not a perfect example there is a lot missing that’s important from the comics, in my opinion Zach doesn’t know Batman he just likes his aesthetic he knows Superman and cyborg

Aquaman accuses cyborg of working for darkseid after he rescued them and the scientists. Also in joss's cut he didn't “just hate on him” but actually had a reason, since cyborgs arm malfunctioned.

Josstice League was endless. 4 hours of Snyder’s cut flew back, immersed in the story.
@@gkbluestocking Most DC fans disagree with you.
Honestly the Parademons were one of the most surprising improvements in the whole cut to me. In Marvel, there have been three spooky-alien-armies throughout the films: Chitauri from Avengers, Sakarran from GOTG, and Outriders from Infinity War. None of them got hardly any backstory or explanation other than “Free Space Army for Rent, Curtesy of Thanos.”
The Snyder Cut really took me from left field with the bit about them being brainwashed souls from conquered worlds, and honestly made them far more interesting as a threat.
... eh.
It's just a zombie army.

I feel like this scene where the Flash reverses time to spare a few more seconds can tie in with the quote "No sacrifice, no victory", because as we know, the Flash's ability to tap into the speed force cannot revert a tampered timeline back to its original, like in the Flashpoint paradox, but makes a completely new timeline out of the tampered timeline.

@@jasonjones3328 first avengers was an extremely light hearted film. The Russos redirected it to be more dark and less humorous (not visually though, just in regards to the story and character arcs)
Tbh i think despite its flaws the film is one of the best Superhero films i seen (Still personally think Infinity war is better tho)
I think that's the best summary. I think this finally establishes that Joss Wheedon is a middling director and cinematographer, and Zack Snyder is much better. Joss Wheedon should stay in his TV series with limited action, because he *cannot* direct action.
@@jammygamer8961 You simply *can't* top something like Infinity War. The build up to it, so many years dedicated to these characters, Thanos was such a huge threat to the Main Characters and was like, an actual person and not some guy who is evil for the sake of being evil. There is so much to love about Infinity War, it's really superhero movies at their top.

The Martha at work with Lois scene was so very cringey. “Jump like a cougar if you miss by a dime.”
My wife, who is totally indifferent to these types of movies, totally disregards Josstice League. She spent an entire week watching the Snyder cut piece by piece and loved it, she actually wants to watch it again in one sitting to fully appreciate it. That is a testament to what a good film can do to even the most casual of fans.
The Flash scene was worth the 4 year wait alone. We were blessed that the whole movie was actually great

I was a bit confused though, shouldn't Flash face some consequences if he ever ran that fast or something?
@@TheMindofagenius1 I think the whole point of his “rule” is that so he controls himself so he doesn’t turn back time much farther for personal gain, like saving his mother (hint hint, Flashpoint?)

Joss Steppenwolf: What makes you different from me?

He fits in more with the parademons and new gods instead of looking like a medieval Liam neeson
It’s a crime with how badly the 2017 version was butchered. This synder cut really shows what happens when executives stay out of the way and let the directors and writers have freedom. This movie was absolutely amazing.
It's not like they didn't interfere with the snyder cut as well. For example, the last scene with Martian Manhunter was suposed to be 2 Green Laterns but the WB executives didn't allowed that idea
Thank you Andrew Garfield, very cool
3. Every character is useful and each played a big role
4. New characters (Aquaman, Cyborg, Flash) are properly briefly introduced and actually become this movie's emotional device as they should be (especially Cyborg since he's basically the closest to the Mother Boxes, the plot device of the movie)

Yeah, Barry said "with the power of love" actually made me laugh

Agree that WB execs are idiots, but only because they let Snyder make another movie after BvS. Guy needs to go back to making his own stuff and leave the DCU alone before he kills it.
@Sonic and still no sequel ?
It's simple math, bud

The Snyder Cut is a perfect example of what the DCEU should've been, should never have tried to be the MCU and the Avengers. I really wish it had a future but considering a lot of the actors have moved on it's just gonna go down in history as huge missed potential.
