A MESSAGE FROM DOCUMENTARY TELEVISION Hey guys thanks for watching the videos, to those of you who watch every video, double thanks. You all should know that it's my intention to film every dog breed. The order in which I film them is truly dependent on a lot of different factors, some of which are out of my control. I am a single person producing the content for this channel, so if I don't get to your request immediately, its not that your being ignored. Its a monumental task I'm taking on, please be patient and enjoy the videos as they come. Thanks!
Thank you for posting this. My family had an english bulldog and he explained life with a bulldog perfectly. He is obviously a great and responsible dog owner. I wish him well, and hope that he has less pain throughout his day!
This is a fantastic video. It’s everything you’d want in a living with video. This might just be the best living with video yet, in my opinion. Great job, Dogumentary TV. When they say providing the best breed documentaries on TH-cam, they were serious. This fellow, Marion Thomas, did a fantastic job going over life with the breed that he has. He broke it down for folks. No stone left unturned. You get a true feel of what living with an English bulldog could be like both inside and outside of the home. You can tell this man cares about his dogs and the breed. I also thought it was interesting that he had went from American Pit bulldogs to English bulldogs-from the original working bulldogs to the more recent show bulldogs-on the count of his conditions. That’s another thing. This man is so selfless. He takes into consideration the needs of the dogs and their specific breed as well as the wishes/needs of his family and friends. He didn’t simply get a dog that he couldn’t properly take care of that may not have been the best fit for his family and others he associates with. He’s good people. I truly wish this man, his lovely family, and his dogs the best of health and happiness.
Jeremy Maldonado tbh bought her off Craigslist.. Not a backyard breeder, just English bulldog owners that so happened to have pups, her dad was registered as an English bulldog but not the mother, she was 800.. But we had the chance to meet the parents and check them out.. Might not be show dog standards, but shes bulldog as he'll lol
Jeremy Maldonado yes because they need lots of care, and ours is related to The 5th generation of UGA (the u.g.a mascot) and she cost 6,000$ , so 3,000 is the average price
Jeremy Maldonado the average cost of a british bulldog from what i know is about £1000-£2000 but i know that some breeders do expect more money than others. Also it depends on the colour/colours and the pattern on the bulldog. For example; a black and white bulldog would cost more than a more frequent brown bulldog etc. Hope this helped☺️
This is one not the best videos you've put out Zeek. Great footage of these beautiful dogs, this brothers got a beautiful family and has really made these animals a part of his family and accepts the responsibility. Lots of knowledge and a great interview!! Thanks Dogumentary TV!!!
This is great it is awesome to see someone who knows how to care for these dogs. I have had English bulldogs since I was born, I now have two olde English bulldogges and they are wonderful. A little bit more active but it works for my life style. God Bless and Merry Christmas.
i love how he talked about what it was actually like to have them IN the house, like the shedding and the gas. Alarm dog is what I call my boston terrier. Definitely let's me know when someone's here. Would love to see one of these about living with a Boston.
We had an english bulldog male & female boston terrier years ago they had one puppy so cute he had the colors of a boston and was medium size(between english & boston)
I wanna leave a comment of support for this owner because I saw and heard a few things that made me really think this guy has a handle on things. The first I am well aware of how the bulldog standard has diminished and created almost non existing animals because of the lack of need for a working bulldog and before this video I agreed with the commenter below saying that we should not be breeding this type of standard in brachycephalic breeds BUT then I watched the entire video and I completely understand why a dog like this is necessary for a man like this. And this is why I am on board with this particular individual and video: He suffers multiple physical ailments that limit his daily ability to exercise dogs, should he not be able to own a dog because of this? NO. Everyone who is financially able and environmentally stable should have the pleasure of owning a dog. So he went out and researched LOW activity low drive dogs and naturally found the bulldog. The key is he obviously researched what he needed to fit his lifestyle and his personal situation. Already big respect it is more than what most pet owners do before buying a dog. He also is aware of the bulldog to some degree not being the best breed as he said it was the best breed for him and I respect that greatly. Pretty much everyone zeke interviews will always spin how great and versatile their breed is and alot of us have our own opinions about what is a great breed and I like his honesty when he said I wouldn't say it is the best breed but he said it is the best breed for me. I also dig that prior to watching this video I pretty much thought bulldogs should be culled and given a new standard as a function over form person I saw no need for a breed like this until I saw this video. It really changed my mind. Maybe the bulldog can be brought back from the brinks if it is used purely as a companion dog for those who are physically limited or even for those suffering any sort of mental physical disability as the dogs generally seem rather happy to do very little . I would still want to see some of the overall standard changed for the betterment of the breed. But I am no longer a complete hater as I was of this breed. Hope you and your dogs have a long and fulfilling life together and much respect on this dogumentary really changed my perspective.
This is definitely my next breed.. I live with pain from chronic lyme disease and love these dogs. I've had many breeds and these bulls definitely are low key.. Excellent video!! My Amstaff sheds a lot too..
i got my very first English Bulldog this first of this month . she is 5 year's old and a rescue . she loves me follows me every where i go in my home . she sleeps more then she does any thing else . i take her walking a few times a day . she sleeps on my queen size memory foam mattress on the floor next to my bed . she does not bark that much . but she does love to watch tv and cartoon's she has got spoiled rotton sense i got her she knows she is my big girl... and im glad and thankful she ( Gabby ) is a member of my family .
This channel is something special. You're doing a great service to people and the quality is incredibly professional. Thank you for all your hard work. I'll definitely be sharing this channel 👌
Amazing, and much respect for the Gentleman who gave the interview; showing and breeding dogs despite all health challenges, along with being a Dad, that's so inspiring to see!
The gas, lol. Yes, brachycephalic breeds are definately gassy. I have Boston Terriers who can clear a room. I'm sure the English Bulldog is just as "talented", lol. I wish I had one.
Awesome Work! I'm a working dog type of guy. But I grew up watching "Spike" from the Tom & Jerry cartoons. Been in love with the English Bulldog ever since.
I understand everything you're talking about. I also have similar medical issues and have 2 bulldogs in my life and they are a perfect fit for me and my life style.

I have had and currently have another. Great video......We laughed as you described how they are........Spot on Sir.......Its nice to sleep with a good ole ENGLISH BULLDOG. BE WELL SIR.
Thanks for sharing you made my decision final. Yes I knew about the gas lol not so much about the shedding. Great interview I had pit bulls. Thought about American Bully. But I love the English is where the true blood of a bully breed come from. God bless your family and your health brother
We are thinking of adding EB #2 to our family, and so I wanted to see again how Sheila E and Bob do together. Hoping and praying that they are still good and healthy, as well as this wonderful owner. "Alarm dog". LOL! My husband's favorite part! xoxo
English bulldogs are beautiful family pets.So loving chilled and funny to me english bullys are the only breed for me.My girls nature is wonderful i love her so
Best dog ever, my louie. He loved me completely! You have to know about this breed! He had no gas issues. He would without debate protect me. Yeah man, I wiped 2 butts for ten years. 😁 I originally used hypoallergenic baby wipes. Waste of money I found. Shifted to the short paper towels. Table meals 😂, you got it! No pawing, jumping, barking or whining... just sit there and stare you into submission.

I love this because he really explains why the breed is perfect for him. Also it's obvious he really loves his dogs.

Sherwood 707 how much did u buy ur bulldog?? I'm trying to buy a bulldog for my kids but people are asking for 3000$! Is that the normal cost?

GREAT job by the owner of the dogs.
Best dog ever, my louie. He loved me completely! You have to know about this breed! He had no gas issues. He would without debate protect me. He had to have a blanket to chew on..always. had to learn how to play with him, it was all about who dominates! He could care less about pleasing me, but loved me with every fiber! As long as he was with me he was happy. So loved him
Hey do you know what you folks did to keep his gas down? I imagine it was a good diet but would def like to learn about gas 💨 reduction lol
Love me a English Bulldog.
Yep, explains these dogs perfectly
English bulldogs are great people dogs and are usually great indoors and outdoors, very nice video good info and well spoken. Good luck fella and dogs =-).
