A MESSAGE FROM DOCUMENTARY TELEVISION Hey guys thanks for watching the videos, to those of you who watch every video, double thanks. You all should know that it's my intention to film every dog breed. The order in which I film them is truly dependent on a lot of different factors, some of which are out of my control. I am a single person producing the content for this channel, so if I don't get to your request immediately, its not that your being ignored. Its a monumental task I'm taking on, please be patient and enjoy the videos as they come. Thanks!
The lying need to stop about Older English Bulldogges, Olde Bulldogges, Bulldogges. You morons and idiots need stop lying and need stop doing fraud. You people don't have Bulldogges, Olde English Bulldogges, Olde Bulldogges
Same thing happened to me! I didn’t know there was a different breed, growth chart wasn’t adding up lol. Checked post again and saw the ‘olde’ and realized. Absolutely love him, not even a little disappointed.
Same. Mine lived 10 years and not one health issue until the last 3 months. Cancer took my baby, but he was the best dog I’ve ever had. Loyal, gentle, affectionate, and trustworthy.
You won’t be disappointed! I had one for 14 years and she was hands down the best dog. Loved to swim and will make your house safe at night, trust me they look scary. If you got a female spay her after a few years and you know you’re not gonna be here
this is amazing! your dogs are super beautiful. have you ever thought of being more active with uploads? if you recorded videos of just the random day to stuff of breeding and the puppies people would watch. more views and exposure will only help your business
You've got me rather hung up on this breed. I'm having trouble over here in the UK actually finding a breed that is still, what I would call balanced. But these guys seem pretty chill. I'll definitely be following you until I am in the position to get a dog.
Shayla Johnson 😊 the Olde English Bulldogge is a recreation using many breeds that derive from the same bully tree. part English bulldog, mastiff, pit and American bulldog. to be considered purebred they must be at least four generations out drawn from any of those Foundation breeds.
I had one. Really great dog. He lived till he was 11, 4 months shy of reaching 12 years old. He died 2nd February 2021. I still miss him today. He was friendly with people, kids, dogs, and still guardy when i needed him to be. He was soo chill. On rough days i miss him most. If you’re lucky to have one cherish them
I have a old English bulldog Baxter he's my service dog so smart saved my life 100s of times and many of other people the best dogs ever buy one people
My family and I own one of Ary's dogs and she is the absolute sweetest dog you can imagine (Prince is actually her dad). Ary is a true first class act and is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and accessible. We live in Florida and got our dog from Ary because of his high breed standards and excellent customer service!
Hows the health of your dog? I got a so called olde english from a breeder and he sadly passed at a young age from auto immune disease, like a traditional english
I have an olde English. She’s a rescue and she’s honestly perfect. Everything I wanted from an English bulldog, just as cute, and much healthier!! She’s a lot less maintenance than your typical English bulldog.
I have owned English Bulldog for many year until I got tired of all the health issues. I am very impressed with Ary of One Of A Kind Bulldogs. Ary is practicing and addressing all the right things such as soft pallet, open nostrils, lengthening muzzle… no brachycephalic, rear angulation. Kudos to you Ary for constructing a much more healthy breed of stellar looking companions.
After having a old English bulldog for over 12 years, they are easily one of my favorite breeds. They are playful and just have a personality that stands out from the rest. As much as they’ll be babies they love to be on guard.
I will NEVER own another breed. My first Olde English was with me forn14 years. I just another one a year after I lost Pabst. She’s 13 months and she rocks 🐾 Thanks for informing the people the difference.
oh my goodness! Want one now! Seems like the ideal dog--still looks like an English bulldog without the high maintenance cleaning / health issues. They are beautiful!
The Olde English Bulldogge = what English Bulldogs should have been. Not the best worker and not super athletic as something like the AmPit Bull, but it can still do stuff and is not some mutant couch potato. lol
I’m no dog expert but I have several dogs and have had many others. My wife and I had always wanted a English Bulldog because they are so lovable looking but a few months back we came across some OEB pups. After some research we learned about all of the health issues of English Bulldogs and how OEB’s were so much healthier. So we decided to go look at the puppies and within minutes a 4 week old puppy put her little chin on mine and then kissed her way to her forever home. Baby Kimber just turned 5 months old and she is the sweetest most loving dog I’ve ever seen. She is very smart, very funny and plays all day with our other dogs. Even at her young age her loyalty is very noticeable and her love and gentleness with children is amazing. She is a bulldog though so she can be stubborn and struggles with boundaries, as she thinks she can plop down anywhere or not move when she’s in the way lol. I’m pretty sure we found our forever breed.
For anyone looking into getting one these are amazing animals, they are whatever you want them to be and incredibly intelligent once you understand them.
I have a Leavitt OEB and a regular OEB. They're both maniacs. The Leavitt is very sensitive mentally. I wish I had a job for him. The OEB is a perfect family dog.
I have an Old English Bulldog and she is the best dog we have ever had. She was a rescue dog because the breeder couldn’t sell her because of a skin condition. This dog is absolutely lovely!!! She is great with our grandkids and so gentle and well behaved. If you are looking for the best family pet, that is loyal, loving and great with children you can’t go wrong with an Old English Bulldog!!!!
I have absolutely no issues with this breed. I only wish that I saw more of the Olde English Bulldog and Retro-Mop around rather than the cringe-at-the-sound-of-it-struggling-to-breathe English Bulldog and Pug that one commonly comes across when out and about. This is what the English Bulldog should have been. Shame on those that took things too far and are responsible for the torture of thousands of dogs.
I agree that man has made some serious mistakes in some of these dog breeds. American bulldogs are also great if you want a bit more size. Mine is the mellowest little sweetie ya ever met
I watch this video a lot now that I’m a Olde parent. My Olde is gentle and loving, only time he gets in defense mode is when a stranger comes in a little too hot while we’re walking with my 1 yo. Very athletic, agile, and proportionate. No weather is too extreme that prevents him from getting his exercise in. Love this breed I used to want a regular EB but the health concerns were too much. Glad I found oldes!
Such a wonderful achievement. I have a doberman now, but when I went to try and pick a dog from the shelter to take home, there was a rotund English Bulldog there named Cookie I fell in love with. I would have taken her, but we needed to make sure she got along with our other dog, and before we could bring the other dog around she was adopted by a very nice man. Olde English is such a vast improvement on the breed, and I hope to own one myself one day.
We own an old English bulldog, she has food allergies, we will be in touch for one of your healthy dogs in the future, thank you, awesome video and very informative, from Winnipeg, Canada.
John yeah their muscular strong powerful dogs, and with regards to good guard dogs, their as good as any depending on how you train them I’d say . their looks are quite intimidating too with being a stocky build. I know some that are pretty unpredictable with regards to temper not sure if that’s due to lack of interaction with other breeds and people or the way they have been brought up or all three. Mine likes to have what I call happy hour! And he’ll just go nuts run everywhere roll all over me growling and barking get in my face looking for a brawl it’s funny. I’d say their good around kids too love attention very chilled and he does respond to noises outside the house and likes to find out what it is . I can only speak for mine and those of our friends who have them in saying everything I’ve said is a true opinion of the breed but as I said depending on how their treated and brought up would depend on temperament I’d say. Hope that helps mate
My Victorian Bulldog, Rocky, is just 18 mos old. He is very affectionate and loyal. He weighs in at around 75 lbs. and he is STRONG. He is a real tank! This is a wonderful breed but training is a must! These are powerful dogs and can be a real handful if not well disciplined. I noticed the comment about being able to jump over a 6' fence. No way. All in all these are healthy well tempered dogs and make terrific pets. I love mine.
Used to own an english bulldog. His name was elvis had him for ten years. He was uga fours grandson. Problem with elvis was he couldn't take a walk without taking a four hour break. H He finally died of multiple kinds of cancer. Had to amputate one of his rear legs prior to him passing away. Now I have got a old english bulldog name max. He is the sweetest dog in the world and strong as an ox. He not only wants to take a walk.He wants to take a run every day. When we play he dances like a ballerina. And also loves watching t v.
Oldies are the best! I’ve had mine for almost 4 yrs and he’s the sweetest, goofiest, most loyal dog I’ve ever had. He loves to play, or will binge watch a Harry Potter movie marathon with me. Bulldogs are stereotyped as stubborn but not BuBu, obedience training was a breeze, he’s eager to learn. Very calm dog at home, zero barking unless someone knocks on the door. He’s great with all dog breeds and sizes, even with cats. I can take him to the beach for swims, which he loves, or for hikes around town. Most consider him a big dog, for me he’s more medium sized, sitting at about 70-75 pounds and 19” height. I grew up with an Alaskan Malamute, so for me he’s substantially smaller. We get a lot of comments on his cuteness, but most importantly he has a beautiful soul.
My Old English bulldog was the best dog I've ever had! She was really everything I was looking for in a pet! I let my ex take her because our son was very upset she wasn't moving with them. But she just turned 10 a few months ago and still going strong! Definitely the perfect dog breed!
this is so incredible, i love old english bulldogs so much and it's so great how people like this are breeding for health and the life quality of the dog and not appearance
Well well done sir. For breeding such well proportioned dogs no excessive sizes or heads and chests. Almost perfect sizes if i do say so myself.a perfect representation of an original bulldog. A beautiful and powerful breed.
The victorian bulldogs as we know them now were bred by Ken mollet uk 🇬🇧 many years ago. It was a carry on from a guy called Clifford derwent. Also 🇬🇧. Now there are guys all over the world breeding otb. Another guy was Steve barnett breeding the Dorset old time bulldogs. These guys have been around for absolute years. Or were at least the foundation to a lot breeders especially in the UK. Today.
I had an English bulldog, Frankie, and she was the sweetest dog in the world. She would follow me around everywhere and I never felt more loved in my life. Unfortunately she passed away a month after turning 4 years old. She had multiple health problems and it just broke my heart. I love English bulldogs but I don't think I (or my wallet) can go through that again. I think olde English bulldogs are a nice alternative and I hope to get one soon
My Cuba 🇨🇺 was an Olde English Bulldog And I had him for 14 years he meant the world to me and he was so beautiful he had a beautiful snout and no breathing problems he had no vision problems he never got Cherry eye!!! This Olde English Bulldog Breeder is 💯 On Point!!!! Sooner or later I want to buy another one I lost my baby in May 2019 and I am broken 😪
Thanks, that was very helpful. We have 2 English , but one passed on May 2nd at the age of 12 . He was lucky and had a very healthy life . I don't want a dog that is active and needs work, so what you informed me of in the lines was very helpful. Thanks. From Va .
I totally agree with this breeder...he breed healtly athletic dogs and not full of health problems like the english "cousins" . I hope one day the standard of English bulldog to change to more athletic and healthy or the athletic breeds of bulldog (olde, leavitt) take more popularity that the english.Great work btw the best about breeds in utube ;)
I had two American Bulldogs...one very large Johnson and one painter line.both were fantastic dogs(RIP) currently I have an OEB (2yrs old) and an American Bulldog(1.5 yr) this was my first OEB ...he's been a great dog so far!
When I first bought my English bulldog I thought he would be short and fat and fast forward a year later it turned out he was an Old English Bulldog and is a beast! He outgrew my female boxers! Big power big Love! I love my old English bulldog ❤
There's a dog named R.J. that takes walks past my workplace in the early mornings before work. Women would line up 15-20 minutes before work in the parking lot to see and say hi to the world's sweetest dog. Seeing that dog in the morning has turned my whole day around. The dog is week trained, quiet, obedient, and loves to take in his surroundings. Look at pictures of this breed and watch videos online and you will not be disappointed.
I like the look of these dogs more than the english bulldog. I still like the American Bulldog more, but the longer legs, more natural proportions, longer muzzles, and good sized chest are all plusses. Bulldogs should be a respectable and sturdy dogs, physically and health wise. I also like this guys mentality, the health of the dogs come first, then the aesthetics.
Very nice!!! Very knowledgeable breeder who genuinely breeds for health, I loved hearing this person talk about the breed. If I ever want a bulldog I'll definitely get one from this breeder.
My Leavitt Bulldog is now 1.5 years old and she is a hand full. It is a very active breed. Even more so than the 2 boxers I've owned over the past 20 years. But I bought the Leavitt for the good health. So far she has been a very healthy, active and affectionate family dog.
I absolutely love my Olde English Bulldog. She has helped me heal so much after getting medically discharged from the Army. If anyone is interested, I have a couple videos on my TH-cam account of her. Her name is Izzy, but has many different nicknames.
I agree with everything that was said on this clip. The less health problems and adaptability is a plus in any dog. Continue your breeding line and good luck to you.
Prince looks awesome! I'm watching this because I'm getting our first family dog in a few weeks and it's an old English. Thanks for the info about them. Now I have an idea of what to keep an eye out for
John yes mine is 1 and a half and weighs around 65pounds we’re not expecting to much more but he’s a very strong guy he can pull heavy duty mats at ease he’s more of a meat head although he’s not tall he’s solid

Could you do an interview with a pacific bulldog breeder I notice it's a new breed acknowledged by abkc
I’d definitely get a bulldog from this breeder. He’s clearly advancing the breed in all the right ways!
I own sugar. Absolute legend. Loves lounging and loves adventurers
Thought I was buying an English bulldog. Ended up with an olde English bulldog. Not disappointed

Better dog anyway to many problems with the English
They're absolutely beautiful dogs. They're A credit to you
Breeders should be like this dude
All I can say is thank you to this guy. It’s tough and hard work but this needs done to help the breed
thanks for the opportunity to do this video Dogumentary.
this is amazing! your dogs are super beautiful. have you ever thought of being more active with uploads?
if you recorded videos of just the random day to stuff of breeding and the puppies people would watch. more views and exposure will only help your business
J.W. Stillwater thanks man. I try, but I got so much on my plate it's hard to keep up with social media. it's part of my 2017 goals.
You've got me rather hung up on this breed. I'm having trouble over here in the UK actually finding a breed that is still, what I would call balanced. But these guys seem pretty chill. I'll definitely be following you until I am in the position to get a dog.
One of a Kind Bulldogs beautiful dogs and brilliant information

I just got a puppy and she kept looking at me crying well then I noticed that my blood pressure was low.
I have an old english female. Best dog I've ever owned. Vary sweet, friendly, and active. Excellent health.
Really like this dude and what he stands for

Hows the health of your dog? I got a so called olde english from a breeder and he sadly passed at a young age from auto immune disease, like a traditional english
Thats really unfortunate, did the breeder offer any help or suggestions?
A responsible dog owner and breeder I like that
I have an olde English. She’s a rescue and she’s honestly perfect. Everything I wanted from an English bulldog, just as cute, and much healthier!! She’s a lot less maintenance than your typical English bulldog.
Congratulations you have produce some real english bulldogs, I hope you continue with that vision
I miss mine every day.
I bought one a year ago . Love my Olde English Bulldogge . Maximus, I love him, so much total badass 70 lbs 21 inches tall. Block head
I have owned English Bulldog for many year until I got tired

Not the best worker and not super athletic as something like the AmPit Bull, but it can still do stuff and is not some mutant couch potato. lol
Then they shouldn't by a working dog.
?
I don't get it
AJ The dogman No one said the OEB is a "Working Dog"
CasaDeOrtiz Dragons 2:21
Exactly....Thats what I meant..No One is implying that the OEB is a "WorkingDog"
Gorgeous dogs, love your breeding philosophy. No extremes, lots of outcrossing.
I have an olde English bulldogge and he's the best.
Good job,lovely dogs
Very educational, thanks!
A responsible breeder speaks out. Credit to you man. These are the type of videos that are really worthwhile. Informative and clear.
For sure, never a positive minded breeder than him. He just loves the dog.

Nice that this breeder does rescue. Good stuff. :)
I watch this video a lot now that I’m a Olde parent. My Olde is gentle and loving, only time he gets in defense mode is when a stranger comes in a little too hot while we’re walking with my 1 yo. Beautiful breed . I have one called winston he’s bonkers . the temperament is brilliant he’s totally chilled loves attention amazing with the kids .
would u say he`s a large dog
No not really when you say large in what way do you mean?
@@garybrown4952 i don`t know big muscularly, strong. Are they a good guard dog because i can`t find any websites about them

What good looking dogs! Chunky, handsome and quite athletic for their girth. Loved the video. Would love to own one.
Your dogs look so happy and healthy 👌🏼👍🏼
Immediately fell in love with sugar. ❤
What a beautiful dog she is.
I live with sugar. She is an absolute angel.
In the future will get this breed healthy no health problem better to get this bulldog then the English bulldog
Sugar look like a rottweiler staff cross, or at least what i would imagine it would look like. Very nice dog.
This is what dog breeding should be about; health and good temperament!
Fantastic videos guys . Keep it up expecting more and more. Totally a big fan of your channel.
Agree on all you say. Love my American bully
Very nice!!! Very knowledgeable breeder who genuinely breeds for health, I loved hearing this person talk about the breed. If I ever want a bulldog I'll definitely get one from this breeder.
You need to do one documentary on the Bulldog Campeiro
My Leavitt Bulldog is now 1.5 years old and she is a hand full. It is a very active breed. Even more so than the 2 boxers I've owned over the past 20 years. But I bought the Leavitt for the good health. So far she has been a very healthy, active and affectionate family dog.
This man really knows how to present his breed!
Beautiful breed!
I bought my dog duke from here really good
I absolutely love my Olde English Bulldog. She has helped me heal so much after getting medically discharged from the Army. If anyone is interested, I have a couple videos on my TH-cam account of her. Her name is Izzy, but has many different nicknames.
Love the coat on Prince and Sugar.
Thank you, sir!!! I love what you’re breeding for!
I agree with everything that was said on this clip. The less health problems and adaptability is a plus in any dog. Continue your breeding line and good luck to you.
Outstanding! I love my #OEB.
Prince looks awesome! I'm watching this because I'm getting our first family dog in a few weeks and it's an old English. Thanks for the info about them. Now I have an idea of what to keep an eye out for
Stumbled across this vid after a year. In case anyone reads this....We've had our Oldde English for over a year now and she is perfect
I live with prince's sister sugar bear. She is the best, sweet and unlimited tolerance with humams, and low maintenance.
Those dogs look really cool and friendly.
World Wolf super energetic and troublesome
I like the breed. Your objective with the breed is perfect.
I wish he offered training. I would take my olde English there in a heartbeat!

John yes mine is 1 and a half and weighs around 65pounds we’re not expecting to much more but he’s a very strong guy he can pull heavy duty mats at ease he’s more of a meat head although he’s not tall he’s solid

Prince & Sugar are beautiful, exactly what I’m looking for.
