    A word to everyone, this is a great idea, but it sucks. False alarms, & range sucks. If the company would build a better transmitter it would be a great product.

      You keep posting this non-sense with absolutely zero proof!
      Just stop!
      Range is very good with 30 feet of detection and approx 2000 feet of transmission range.
      False alarms are probably user error on setting up the sensor or the sensitivity set too high.
      Do some investigation on your end and stop bashing the product.

    I found the BEST alarm its called KONNECTED. No mothly fees, and it's the best. Works with a great app called SmartThings. No cost to alert your cell phone.
