I would really love to see the game get to a point where you could put these together on a weekly/monthly basis and provide a recap of what went on during that week. If you wanted to do that now you'd need a video that tracked hour to hour. :\
I would like to see this idea expanded into full-on documentary shorts about actual battles that take place in the Planetside Universe, with commentary on strategy, particular people's perspectives, and things like this. Like those war-time newsreels in WWII, or something like that. Maybe like what Rooks and Kings does in Eve Online.
You'll notice that the resource gain from the top half of the map is roughly the same as the other two corners. The entire desert is meant to be controlled by the northern faction, the grasslands completely by the southwestern group, and the canyonlands by the southeastern. That's why you see a very well defined battleline most of the time on Indar.

TR has fast viechles and fast firing rates with usually 10 more bullets in magasines and double barrel tank guns, the VS has no bullet drop, high accuracy, hover tanks and easy controlled planes, NC is a rough on rough wich means they dish out damage and receive damage but they sacrifice that for speed so they are easily outflanked
Very very cool. Reminds me of the BBC4 programmes on War in Afghanistan or Iraq only 200 odd years in the future. The atmosphere, nature of how the vids are taken are absolutely spot on. The only shortfall is they showed a guy getting killed; would never happen if it was the BBC!!
Really liked your "We're at war" machinima (still my fav).... maybe take some inspiration from the WW2 audio clips you used in that one for your own VO in future War Correspondents? Make it seem like a war journalist who is on the front line with the soldiers more than as a removed commentator. Still, great footage. Great work as usual.
I can't wait for the Vanu one! As it turns out, if they include footage of the outfit "The Foundation" on the Ceres server, I might be in there somewhere...

I hope you gonna record in free flight mode like they did cap events during E3. You should ask about it because your montage is great. BTW. This one is much better than other two from PS2. Just saying :)
If you have less than 8 gb, try installing more memory. Also, be sure you play it in 64 bit Windows, this game, altough it's for x86, it eats near 2gb memory. My experience in Win32 was very bad (I could not play more than 15 minutes in that platform), moving to Win64 and 8 gb solved all.
I'm guessing if they do implement it then it would probably be something everyone has to have on, since it would likely effect how well players can see and aircraft handling etc. They've said that it's something they want to do eventually.
I hope for em to be on Mattherson server and see the small, yet strong, New Conglomerate 39th Spec Ops, led by me, in action and maybe do interviews with outfit leaders of all factions of all servers and even do "player spotlights"
Also, I know plenty of Connery outfits like 666, HFA, PCYS, JP, AFX, TXR, FNO (yes Luperza's FNO)... who would love if you filmed them in battle one time :)

Depends on the server. On Connery the best non-Indar battles happen on Amerish. Esamir however is ghost cap town there.

- Be careful to use the word "tactic"
