I grew up watching Anderson on Channel One, and I saw the footage discussed here as it originally aired. It’s what got me into communications and ignited a curiosity that informs and sustains me to this day. He helped make news something besides what middle-aged people on TV droned on about every night. He really had an important role in making journalism for all of us.
I love Anderson's laugh. He's so serious, and then the laugh comes out. Loved Robin's comment about Howard in a crisis too 😅
