- On an off day from The Stadium Tour 2022, POISON booked a show in Choctaw, MS at the Silver Star Casino. This was two shows and three days after Bret was in the hospital after having to cancel from the Nashville show. He looked as if nothing had ever happened! The band’s energy was off the charts! I hope you enjoy our little show.

Saw the stadium tour.....these guys blew everyone off the stage. Not even a Poison fan, but facts are facts.
They were the best at the Wrigley show. Motley had the crowd on fire, but it was partly via the stage show. Def Leppard was rather boring following Poison and Motley.
Is it just me, or do Poison seem to have really got their passion back? All the footage of them this year is incredible.

I’ve seen the 2 times in the past but that was over 17 years ago. If you look at footage on TH-cam they look like they are really on top of it right now.

Maybe they were all got divorced or just learned the female nature, I believe they called it in today’s term ( Red Pill Knowledge ) that knowledge could bring back man’s passion for life.
these guys are somehow better than the 80's. Poison is my favorite band and I can't watch enough.

Gotta say man, Poison was always the band which made me run for the hills..In 2022 they seem to have evolved into a true American band in Bob Seger, Lynyrd Skynyrd heritage and playing up a fucking storm. They offer good times in spades and appear to be the genuine article, incredible really

@@JustJim772 they are putting on a great show but the expensive special effects are being saved for Motley Crue and Def Leppard. All the bands on the tour including Classless Act sound really good.

Best night EVER!!
I really didn’t want to be ’that guy’ with his phone up the whole time but I’m glad I did. I’ve been to A LOT of concerts in my years and have a hard time remembering them. (And I have never drank… ha) This is my way of remembering.
I had the same poison twice before, once in 1990 and once in 2008.
I have been a huge fan of C.C. Deville ever since I was 10 years old.
They have gotten me through some really rough days throughout my life.
The two hours I spent with them this past weekend brought me actual joy which is something I haven't felt in a long time.
It amazed me that cc noticed me throughout the show and wouls point and talk to me.
At one point you can see him point to me and then hold up his guitar pick a mouth the words "you'll get this."
Later he ran up and told the people in front of me to hand me his guitar pick. At 45 years old and at a point my life where I don't feel seen by anyone, he saw me.
I have both of those things on sale thank goodness.
However, at the end of the concert he came up to where I was standing at the front left of the stage and he was fist bumping people.
He saw me, and he points at me and knelt down and grabbed me by the hand. I was able to have a few seconds to thank him for many years of getting me through some hard stuff including that night and we exchanged words.

My one regret is that I didn't have any of that part on film because my phone had locked up.
Because of YOUR video...I have this memory on video now!!!
I really cannot thank you enough. It was an amazing show and I hope we all get to see them again next year.

Was at this show and was beyond impressed, especially given the Bret had been hospitalized 48 hours prior. Not only did they not cancel this show in the middle of nowhere, they gave their full (longer than their Stadium Tour set) headlining show. Glad I made the drive and looking forward to seeing them again next month for the ST.

I saw countless concerts back in the day, 80’s and 90’s mainly. Poison ALWAYS put on a killer show. When they were all on point I’d say they were about as good as anyone live. Brett is an underrated frontman and CC is an underrated guitarist. It annoys me that they’ve always been considered by main stream media as just another hair band.
Still the band I saw the most times back in the day… and they still put on a heck of a show.
They really do sound great live. Those are some lucky folks in the audience with this small venue.

All I can say is Thank You, Thank You, And Thank You. Next to Kiss this is my next fan and been a fan for a long time. This will will probably the only time I will ever get to see them in concert formation. So from the bottom of my heart, Thank You for posting this video! Rock On!
I'm 60+ so classic rock is my thing primarily but Poison was by far my favorite 80's Hair Band. I had the chance to meet Bret Michaels before a solo show a couple years ago before the show. I heard he's really good with that. I just wanted a photo, but at the time I needed to leave to get there I couldn't leave. I was working at the time and couldn't leave my post.

It sounds like we wouldn't see them for 3 years now. I would say that's a same. I would love them to put out a couple new songs on a live album or a remastered greatest hits then go back out on tour in 24 or at the end of 23.

Saw them in Knoxville Tennessee with Ratt (Ratt Poison) tour in 1997'. Been a fan ever since. Always blew out the other bands that were with them on tour. As far as entertainment & sound, nobody ever produced what Poison did.
Great to see Poison reunite and play during the summer of 2022.
For a headlining gig 55 minutes is not good enough. A band like Poison should be playing a headlining gig at a Casino that lasts at least 100 minutes. Very, very disappointing! The basically played the same set as their set on the stadium tour and passed it off as a headlining set

This was last year during the Stadium Tour. They had an open weekend between Jacksonville and St. Louis and did this on their own. We saw opening night of the Tour in Atlanta and then here two weeks later. Was AWESOME!!🤘🏼🤘🏼

Yes. He was introduced as the backup singer and had been on tour with them for years. His name is Brandon Gibbs. He had a couple albums of his own. He’s really good.

Why do so many people watch them on their phone, than just enjoying it. I'd be pissed if the people in front of me blocked my view most of the show. They have concert videos you can buy or watch online, save your tickets for someone who knows how to appreciate a rock concert.

actually it is.. if you go back over the past like 5-7 years of Poison tours you'll see it growing. And there's some photos of him not wearing a hat the top is getting pretty thin
I am glad he is OK, but they should have come back to Nashville and done a free make-up show. It wouldn't have helped those who traveled to make it, but the gesture would have been greatly appreciated.
He already said that they intend to do a make up show. Wouldn't make sense to cancel another show to do that as then there would be another pissed off group.

I am not throwing any shade at Poison. This was cool and they are a good band. But Metallica is single headlining stadiums still and these guys are rudeced to playing clubs. But that's ok. I'm sure it's a blast and more power to them for having the longevity to keep on doing it and the fans to support it.
clubs? They're playing this casino as a day off from the stadium tour, and all their past tours since they got back together in 99 has been full size arena's and outdoor pavilions 12000-30000 capacities.

probably a CGM (continuous glucose monitor) like the Dexcom g6 or Freestyle Libre. It'll alert him (or his assistant offstage) if his blood sugar goes too high or too low while he's onstage.

CC does not suck.. actually a lot of his stuff isn't all that basic or easy to play. He's got some crafty riffs in there. And if you really break down a lot of his Poison stuff it's mostly rockabilly stuff.
