Sup Drew! Songs ridiculous but then again every dang Tool song is ridiculous. Hope all is good with ya over there in Ireland man. Looking forward to your guitar cover of Gojira 🤙 sounds good man 🍻
@@dmusiclife5727 we know you do however other reacts are all... hey that guitar was awesome and Danny is killing those drums, but Mr Chancellor is lacking in the props. I personally felt this man's bass rip thru my chest at Staples Ctr during Fear tour whilst I stood at back of building below Mamba jersey.
Wasn't expecting you to break out the airplane on this one, lol. I also knew Erica would like it but didn't think it would literally knock her socks off 😂
When they dropped into that straight euphoric release it was definitely time to bust out the air plane and fly about the clouds on that one. And for her sock? It’s still yet to be recovered
I was faster than the road runner to get to this reaction. Your Tool reactions are gold and I love seeing your faces, body language and hearing your thoughts. Been that way for about 3 years now
@@PongGod Erica is sort of structured...until Tool happens, then she does the signature finger across the throat. And who knows. I just remember them both listening to 7empest and were done. I hope it stays with then after there reaction. But yeah the combination of both Chef kiss golden. No faking it here
I cant say she has heard it before but I know he has because he's already posted a reaction video to this song before years ago along with a lot of other Tool reactions that have been redone, pretty sure I remember him mention back then that he's listened to Tool long time ago and was rediscovering them but all those videos have been removed from the channel. I'd say most reaction channels probably have heard what you think they haven't but just fake it for the content.
Ahh so around the solo/car days gotcha makes sense now because my initial thought was that they did this already 😆. I miss those car videos, Dylan’s energy was hilarious! 🤘🏼✌🏼
In 1986, "Pee Wees Play House" aired. It was a Saturday kids show starring Pee Wee Herman. One of the characters on the show was a GENIE named JAMBI. Jambi would appear everytime the word WISH was said. Jambi would then grant Pee Wee one wish. Song title COINCIDENCE? I think not ✌️
You guy's are my favorite, I love watching your reactions , so real !!!! Please review Andalusia by Satriani, i would love to see your faces as you both get blown away
Best of the best. The bass is the lead guitar and the drums are incredible. Without those two instruments, there is no Tool. Epic choice of song. Love this. Take the headbangers challenge and this song comes on....fail. I would be headbanging immediately.
This was the opening track when I saw them at Brixton London on the 10,000 days tour and they were outstanding! I’ll never forget the cheer when they came onstage! 😎
Oh swear! I swear every damn time I listen to this group. So I went and got new ear buds because you know when you get old you really need to make your ears bleed!! Great reaction as always my friends!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼. But yes this song is fricken badass!!! Thanks for sharing and the reaction as always!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🍻🍻
"Divided and withering away, divided and withering away. Shine down upon the many. Light our way, benevolent sun." Gets me every time. Damn you, Maynard.
I spent my high school years listening to Tool and smoking weed. This album was released during my Senior year and it was a nice way to enjoy my senior year. I’ve kind of moved on from listening to Tool but when I do listen it brings up memories from my teenage years.
You guys are going to regret never seeing them Live, saw them in New Orleans last February. That was My brother and My 4th show, first time seeing them together. We were in the military and saw TOOL 7 different shows around the world, several albums over 20 something years. They will blow your mind. I can't give away the visuals. You don't need to be on something, or drinking alcohol, that good or great
Duuuude!! The first reaction I saw of yours was for Themata by Karnivool - classic man! 💜 Now look up the Vic Firth Drum Cam of Danny Carey - Tool - Pneuma & react to it please… it’ll blow your mind 🤯
Love watching your reactions, but only one of Tool's songs uses the Fibonacci sequence. Lateralus. The syllables Maynard sings in the first verse follow the first six numbers in the pattern, ascending and descending in the sequence 1-1-2-3-5-8-5-3. "Black (1), then (1), white are (2), all I see (3), in my infancy (5). Red and yellow then came to be (8), reaching out to me (5). Lets me see (3)." In the next verse, Maynard begins with the seventh number of the Fibonacci sequence (13), implying a missing verse in between. He descends back down with the following pattern; 13-8-5-3. "As below so above and beyond I imagine (13). Drawn beyond the lines of reason (8). Push the envelope (5). Watch it bend (3)." The second verse adds the missing line to complete the sequence; "There is (2), so (1), much (1), more that (2), beckons me (3), to look through to these (5), infinite possibilities (8)." 1-1-2-3-5-8-5-3-2-1-1-2-3-5-8-13-8-5-3.
10000 Days is the time between when Maynard's mother was paralyzed and her death. So much of the album is him coming to terms with losing his mother. Many of their songs dealt with their relationship. His anger at God for allowing this and her unwavering belief in God throughout. His eventual forgiveness. This is about him not wanting to lose her. Even some of the song titles take on new light with this perspective. There is lyrical overlap in A Perfect Circle's lyrics as well. Are you familiar with Coheed and Cambria? I'm a bit partial as my brother-in-law's cousin is the co-lead guitarist (Travis, not singer Claudio).
To support your page I understand you got to listen to other bands by request or just in general.. by participating.. but everything is garbage compared to TOOL unless its Zeppelin..Floyd..Beatles....CSNY.. A Perfect Circle.. the other bands that you listen to is straight up garbage
Thanks for taking our request! You two are my favorite!!
Thank you Justin! Really appreciated the support and of course for the Mighty TOOL! What a ride
Great song guys!! Still one of my all time favorites!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Justin, thanks for picking this track 🙌🏻 I was wondering when they'll react to this
@@visakhc6352same!! Such a good one!!
Stellar pick for sure dude 👌
Fkng GREATEST band of all time!!!
In the guitar solo, he uses something called a talk box. I read where Adam Jones called Joe Walsh and asked him how to use it. It's crazy af!
İ think he used talkbox and wah wah at the same time...
Joe Walsh called Adam back and left him a message, saying: "Hi, Adam, it's the talk-box fairy, call me back." ❤️🤘
Forgot how good this song is….GOD DAMN 😮💨😮💨😮💨
Did you get to see them in Dublin?
I love seeing you pop up. Been following you since the beginning
Sup Drew! Songs ridiculous but then again every dang Tool song is ridiculous. Hope all is good with ya over there in Ireland man. Looking forward to your guitar cover of Gojira 🤙 sounds good man 🍻
Best band of the last 30 years
Of ALL times
Best band in the history of music. Period
Best band since Pink Floyd!!! I WISH they’d remake Welcome to the Machine!!! Epic
@@davidward9737Sadly Rush is gone…I wish Tool produced more than 1 album per 2 decades though
@@torianholt2752 sorry my brother was murder last month. Thank you

I first found Dylan's channel when he was reacting to Pneuma and Descending and those were absolute GOLD!

I would listen to this song before patrols in Baghdad, 06-07.

They opened with Jambi when I saw them in 2007. It was the last time I saw them at my favorite venue. What a great night.

My fav song of all time from TOOL! TOOL is one of the absolute best bands out there and will forever live on!
Basically, this song is about Maynard's primal urge to protect his son.

100% my favortite Tool track of all time!
Here from the king's mountain view
Here from the wild dream come true
This song straight eats at my soul. The best tool track
My girl Cindy's favourite. She had like a religious experience to it live on 29th February 2020
The talk box is old joe Walsh ,Peter frampton, and more recently Richie Sam Nora used one In some bonjovi stuff
Richie Sambora uses a talk box on the song "Living on a Prayer"

This song was heavily inspired by Meshuggah. Even Adam Jones said so 😃

One of my favorite tool songs good to see you both along for the ride
This is still my favorite from them. Probably because of how weird it is. 🤘
10,000 Days and its entirety was written in memory of his Mother Judith.
This is one of my favorite(top 5) Tool songs!

Great live tune
Good to see another Tool reaction from you two! ❤

My first intro to this song back in the car days
Just insane simply an insane song

They wrote this after touring with Meshuggah.
Makes sense 😂
And you can hear it 💯
Adam actually got advice from Joe Walsh on Voice Box
Perfection. Luckily I get to see them again in October at aftershock festival in Sacramento
Thats how I feel when I get lost in translation.
When it first happens, it`s hard to get back into it.
Love you guys

not a boring song thats for sure lol
Everyone tries to air drum and stops soon after. The defeat of trying to predict it lol. Vibing to Tool has always been with the guitar for me.
i think the song is about his son. i could be wrong so dont quote me or anything...unless i am remembering right lol
I just wanna say a few years ago without Erica. You have the pieces and they fit. So very happy for you too
