I have a 992 Turbo S cab and a 991.2 Targa 4 GTS with a manual. I prefer the Targa and the more engaging driving experience. I also prefer the 991.2 GTS interior which is more intimate. Touch screen is closer to the drivers hands and most things you need to do are with buttons instead of pushing things in the screen. GTS sounds better too. The TTS has a lot of power but I find the turbo lag annoying. Launches are about the only thing it does better.
Interesting comments the Turbo S seems surplus to requirements then…. I would take the 992 Turbo S (probably in Coupe spec) even with the price difference its better IMHO
@@DrivingVenture I still like shifting my own gears. I traded a 991.2 gt3 6M for the Turbo S. It was a fun car but only for short jaunts. The Turbo S just lacks the same engagement that a manual gives you. It’s not always about speed.
The turbo cab is really appealing for the first time I think, doesn’t seem to have many downsides and a bit more engagement. Hell of a car and great review. Not sure the s is worth it over the standard turbo though.
Hi dave. A great car it is but for no money in the world i would change it for our gt3rs cars, nothing beats the drama of a NA engine howling its way to 9000 revs. Keep posting thise nice vids. Cheers, werner
The car felt great in both modes just a bit firmer and sharper with the sport setting swithed on… the front apron has a piece of plastic trim that comes down to increase downforce and improve handling in the sport plus setting…. This is truly a brilliant car and worth every penny in my book…
Excellent insight as a daily driver. So appreciate your overall descriptive analysis. 911 Turbo s Cab…all time fav! Thanks.
Great video!! I tested it last year from a local dealer, supercar!!! Ordered one couple of weeks ago, delivery 2023......!
They are brilliant the everyday supercar 💯
Look forward to the videos each week, keep up the great work!👏🏻
Many thanks 🙏🏻
Quality video, they keep getting better
Many thanks.... such an immense car..👌
@@DrivingVenture I managed to have a go! Full power blew my mind 🤯

@@89vette1 its why I drive a manual Spyder and have a Manual 992 Touring coming as you say because they are more engaging to drive…x

992 turbo s is an absolute beast! And beautiful!
I agree
The Turbo should be available without the spoiler like the GT3 Touring... would look more elegant and understatement IMO.

Yes I prefer the GT3RS but the Turbo is immensely impressive ....
If I could, I'd own both. Turbo-S most of the time, GT3RS for the special occasions.
@@HiddenWen perfect double act 👍
Ah, question answered! Thought it looked familiar.
amazing car in an amazing landscape
I realy like the Agate Gray.
Do you recognize any nuance of brown in the paint?
How does the color behave in the sun or at night?
Colour is lovely... looked very well and moody in the different light lightened up in bright light....dark and mysterious in darker light...👌
What type of parka jacket are you wearing? Id like to get myself one like that
What are your current experiences with the normal PASM and PASM S (-10mm). Can you say something about comfort and driving characteristics?

@@DrivingVenture do you know which suspension was configured? with -10mm?
@@graymatters9307 this car didn’t have the -10mm set up I don’t think you need it IMHO
Great filming! Where are your test roads?
Hawes Road North Yorkshire (UK)
Perfect everyday supercar. 👌
So accomplished....loved my day driving it.... so quick
first turbo cabriolet that would ever tempt me from a gt3
An amazing car... perhaps a Turbo S could feature in the garage for myself in the future... it was that good👌
@@DrivingVenture instead of the gt3 RS or as well as that’s the question
This is an epic whip. Only those in the know, know what it’s.
