    Yes I did rebuild a Genesis and that core support is a fiber reinforced plastic. They hold strong when you plastic weld them because of the fiber strands in them. Thanks for the mention!

      21:03 You can see the tires skid forward from being pushed by the marks in the dirt. Someone backed that truck up with some force.

    If you look at what is in front of that Camry’s trunk, it is the rear end of a pickup truck with a tow hitch sticking out literally level with the same impact spot on the Camry’s bumper, someone backed up that Chevy pickup truck behind it (or the Camry itself) right into it, and probably never even told Copart what happened

      @@gregcromer8406 They have several tires they market in North America that have "Anglo" sounding names. The unfortunately named "Ling-Long" (At least by English speaking standards) is just one of several lines they sell. Their US HQ is in Ohio, and you can easily Google their website to see the full line of tires they market here.

    I think the truck hitch was backed into the Camry by the forklift driver and then lifted. That explains the oval dent at the receiver hitch height, the long scratch up the bumper and the additional damage and lifted trunk lid damage.

    Hi Randy - That Alfa Romeo Guilia (Julia) starts at about 40K for the base model and can go as high as 75K loaded. FCA makes them in Italy and they were introduced in the USA (in 2017, I believe) with a great TV commercial that is basically a love letter to a women named Julia. They are marketing it as an upscale luxury performance car. Edmunds gives it an overall 6.9 rating out of 10.

      Harvey Bold Define ‘good’. They may be fun and have decent build quality but I’d define ‘good’ as reliable and they’re not reliable. No Italian car is, and most modern Europeans aren’t either lol.

    • @dutchmaster7790
      @dutchmaster7790 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@daveedwards6727 Well, I must have bought the exception then ;) DAF 77, otherwise known as Volvo 440, 1.8i (that's a 1.8litre injection, no idea how many cc that is) and it just turned 25 this month! Registered Jan 1995, has a few cosmetic items, all my fault I'd admit, but otherwise a good reliable car. Not the prettiest, but it gets me from A to B and most importantly, back home again!
      And you're absolutely right on Italian cars, over-hyped, over-priced and over-rated rust buckets I won't touch with a barge-pole. But the likes of VAG (Audi et all), BMW, Mercedes and to a lesser extend Volvo are kinda popular in the US as they're by and large economical runners with affordable pricing and retaining their value better then some US brands.
      As for some of the other vehicles, I'd suggest picking them up for spare parts instead. You could easily charge 500+ bucks for a running motor+gearbox, even used.
      PS: predecessor of my DAF77/Volvo440 was the DAF66, which had a Variomatic gearbox. This had a pretty much infinite number of gear-ratios and could run backwards at the same speed as forwards! DAF sold their passenger car manufacturing to Volvo in the 80's (IIRC!) but still makes trucks, amongst other things.

    I wrote the above comment before you mentioned it when I seen the hight of that tow hitch on that truck, it looks like it's hit the bumper first then the loader lifted the truck up which broke the chrome trim and lifted the trunk.
