    I had a 2010 VW EOS. Was a good driving car. I sold it just over a year ago in near perfect condition for $8,000 with right at 90k miles. The 2.0T engine in mine did have timing chains but that engine is known to have tensioner issues. The car had 3 of the 4 ignition coils fail between 50k and 80k so I always kept two new ignition coils in the trunk just in case. Also had an issue with drawing too much power thru the fuse for the headlights which causes the fuse to melt the housing. Somewhat common issue on several VW models of that year. I caught mine early and was able to just replace the fuse with the newer designed fuse that apparently has plastic that tolerates the higher than normal temperature. Luckily I didn't have to replace the fuse block though I think there is a service bulletin on that now which may get that replaced for free if needed. Also replaced the PCV/Oil Separator & hoses. Had a few other minor things but I was afraid of what might be next. Unfortunately I know the new owner and they are having several issues with the windows, locks, and alarm. Probably due to the window that automatically rolls down a half inch when you enter or exit the car. As soon as you turn off the ignition the windows drop so you can open the door and get out which is a bad thing in the pouring rain. I always made sure I was ready to get out before turning off the ignition to help keep the water out and even kept the car under a carport at home. I hated that feature. The new owner keeps the car out in the open so I imagine it has gotten water in it with them.
    I replaced the 2010 VW POS with a 2007 Ford Focus Wagon which I just drove on a 6200 mile road trip to many National Parks throughout the northwest. That car now has 152,000 miles on it and I wouldn't trade it for the VW...

    the Caprice the motor is a small block chevy 5.0 means 305cubic inch and its a throttle body fuel injection the 5.7 is the standard 350 cu in small block chevy used in the GM trucks as well as 1993 most of the Caprice's and the Buick Roadmaster that shared this they came with a LT1 350 engine good cars till GM dropped them in 1996 as old people preferred them as they rode soft but today's standards its a gas guzzler but its something that can be taken to car cruises now.

    • @derekobidowski5784
      @derekobidowski5784 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Curtis Fleabag i seen some of these vehicles in videos when they did the CARS or Cash for Clunkers program as the Caprice like this one was shared with the Buick Roadmaster up to 1993 was either a 305 or 350 throttle body injected small block chevy. as 1993 to 1996 the Caprice, Roadmaster and Impala had an LT1 350. the wagon models is the Caprice, Roadmaster, and the Olds Custom Cruiser. as someone should buy this its too valuable to waste by now this impala should be a good candidate for classic car cruises. one example GM made before it was replaced with the Impala the front wheel drive models.

    I owned a 2011 Chey Equinox with the 4 cyl. It got amazing fuel mileage. It was a little under powered but not bad. I was getting 38-39 m/g on the highway. Some one did run a red light and hit me in the front end. It was a 40 km/h hit but created $28.000 in damage. He spun me into a light traffic pole.

    There are no mechanical differences except in SR models which stands for "sports rally". The acronyms for S, SE, and SL originally stood for base, sport edition, sport luxury, but there are not actual "sport performance differences" the only differences are options like leather, navigation, power seats, ect, ect.

Totally not road worthy with that issue but that doesn't mean it doesn't start and move under its own power. Which is what they really mean by that.

    I just got through driving a 2019 Terrain rental 1.5 Turbo. A little less than 200 hp. Horrible in 2WD in the rain. Tires want to spin every time you move from a stop. You have to select AWD every time you drive. Fortunately I did not drive it in snow and ice. A poor excuse for an SUV compared to the previous Santa Fe it replaced. It was great in bad weather!

    That GMC Terrain was very nice but a few things make me nervous about it. The rear-upper edge of the passenger side fender was pushed upward a lot and there does not seem to be any damage on that side of the vehicle.
    That makes me think that the front of the frame might have been pushed over that way. At first I was thinking that the front bumper was replaced to hide the underlying damage to the crash bar but after you took video underneath the front and through the front bumper/ front valence separation, I think what may have happened is that the driver hot a truck with a big, frame-mounted hitch and it went between the bumper/front valence and nailed the crash bar.
    If you can confirm that the frame itself is okay, that was really, really nice, a great color and I bet it'd sell fast if you could repair it without too much trouble or money. I really liked it, and I am not really an SUV/CUV kind-of guy but I thought that one was very nice. I wouldn't even mind driving it.
    Man, BTW, seeing that Mazdaspeed 3 in that condition broke my heart. I love those things, I was hoping it would have been fixable. I almost purchased one new exactly like that.

    I’ve had a 2013 focus and it was a good car and reliable except for the transmission clutches. I think the 3 bangers have a different transmission but not sure but for the car with those options, I wouldn’t go 11,500

    That Caprice is not one of those cars used in Hollywood and US TV series for FBI and cop cars? 😋 Looks cool. Greetings from Europe 🇪🇺
