Truly is depressing. It's so hard not to feel that way when you see highlight reels all day. "Oh that person in Fiji and I'm stuck at home... guess I'm not living my life right." Social media has so amazing benefits but some terrible flaws.
It has been 3 months that I have quited my social media. I'm feeling very happy and achieved a good focus on my work.

Whenever someone try to tell me that I ama loser I can't achieve what I want to and they are the people from my family who says this. Then I left heartbroken for a while feels like they are saying truth. I am not intelligent, not good at anything them I tend to become frustrated, irritated with everything. At that time if someone says that get that, achieve that and prove them that they're wrong. Then I lose my all the motivation left in me. And I absolutely hate the idea to do something to show it to other people, to prove them wrong. Isn't it means that you are giving importance to those selfish discouraging morons? And for me they have no place in my life. Show them middle finger. Your fight must be with yourself only. Be the king/queen of your own reign. If I got 60% last year then am I getting 70 or 80 this year or not, that's important. If I am getting 85 today then I am doing amazing. Stop comparison. Stop comparing yourself with others. And stop comparing others with someone else. Comparison is the most appropriate tool to bring someone down, to demotivate them, to make them pessimistic.

I'm a social media manager and social media is just an advertising cesspool. We create social media posts to reel in engagement and if you pay attention. Most of the people on instagram and tik tok that you see are trying to push a brand too. Its not just random photos of your cat. Even the animal pages are pushing to you.

I quit social media 7 years ago and I live in gratitude with zero desires to do things to show it to other people . I do things for me and I love it and live it. It’s peaceful! Quitting youtube will be difficult.

@@Wamezz it’s going great! The only thing I miss is Nothing. I do at times miss showing off my achievements when surrounded by such people but grounding myself and reminding that no matter how much you achieve, it is for you and only you. No need to show it , get it validated from others. Dating is hard regardless and When I was on social media it was horrible and a lot of time waste.
I am disciplined and I am at peace so it’s going good and I am never going back.
The amount of time I save is insane. I do see girls clicking, editing, posting and wasting hours on phone. I am sorry I dnt use utube so often too hence replied late.
