2022 ends in another 2 hours and I cant help feeling so out of place and alone. I know Id feel better tomorrow because I always do. I know Id get through the next couple of days though they will be stressful. Id be on edge feeling more isolated than ever BUT despite it all I will get through because I always do, that's what I do, that's what I am. I hope I pull through. I have to! Cheers to a 2023 full of kindness , compassion , peace and happiness.

I want to be a writer. I've know this since 4th grade. All the books I have in my head one day, will explode leaving me with nothing. I've been scared to write the books I want because of what OTHER people will think. I'm stuck in school. School is like a jail to me. I know what I want, I work for it as hard as I can. But I can't at the same time. I get punished for making my dream a goal and get to that goal. It's depressing.
When you get punished for not being able or allowed to follow your dreams, to make them come true and to do something you weren't meant to do, you get depressed and your productivity goes down 200%
It's true that school kills creativity. That school isn't really preparing you for the future.
I am exhausted with it... and people won't let me change my path. It's like there are guards around me that shoot or hit me every time I try to change the path.
My teacher who really understands me tells me every week, even during break he texts me: "Just a couple more months. Then you're free, then you can go for that goal 250%! You can do it!"
I feel like I can't do it anymore...

I have the same problem with school that you have, they basically shape us in what they want us to be, they are not teaching us how to live life, they are teaching us how to live with borders they set. I go to school for 5-6 hours a day, which is a 1/4 of the day, I still have 18 hours to do what I want to do, and I think you should try that, it worked for me and I hope that it works for you too.☺😊
Darko Djordjevic I like your thought proces. Only schools in the Netherlands is a lot harder then in other places and countries. 30 hours a week, 3 hours of homework a day, not even counting the extra essays, book reports and whatever.
Yes we get to choose our classes the last two years of school. We do tests at 11 or 12 years old to see to which school you can go, to see how clever you are and how "easy" it will be to get on top of the social/economic tower, even we don't want that. But you don't know or realize what you really want at that age. In the Netherlands most teenagers are depressed and overworked because of this. We tend to go too far in the education. We learn stuff in our exam year that we will most likely learn again in college.
People like me, the smart and creative ones that want to live their live are the most unhappy at 15, 16, 17 and 18 years old because we aren't free, even though we are starting to think for ourselves.
Like I said before we get to choose our classes for our 2/3 years at Secundary school (weird system, just roll with it), but we do that when we are 14/15 years old. And the classes that we pick will determine to what colleges we can go to and what career we can get.
I made a mistake at 15 years old. I chose the wrong classes and can't go back. I am so depressed and that in combination with my Anxiety disorder, Panic Attacks, OCD and PTSD is not working at all.
I'm on sleeping meds, anti-anxiety bullshit and what not. I try to stay positive, but just count the hours I have...
Meds fully stopped working at 6:30 am, wake up at 7
Go to school at 8 am
9:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Home at 4 pm, homework til 6:30/7 pm, dinner and at this point I am already exhausted and unable to do anything.
Shower, take meds at like 10 pm and pass out soon enough.
No time for anything... Saturday I distrct my self and do nothing, trying to get real rest that seems to not exist. Sunday I always have golf matches or training. I love it, but leaves no time to actually film or edit a lot. It sucks so bad...
I'll manage till May though. Then are the giant fucking exams and then I have freedom for 3 months and after I will start at the college for All Round Filmers. Just need to survive.
Sorry for this idiotic rant, btw. I don't have to be on my meds on Saturday's.

Femke V. ALWAYS stand gaurd at the door of your mind. It doesn't matter who pours in the toxic into your morning coffee, it will still harm you. Usually people that don't support other peoples dreams are the ones whom have given up on their own. So stand gaurd young one, and be grateful for what life has given you and for your dream that you have yet to experience.

About 2 years ago I was sitting as an intern in an office job that I hated. 2 years ago I watched my first prince EA video. The story actually is a bit more complicated. My friends knew what I felt for this girl and sometimes joked a bit about it. One of her friends started questioning me and that was the moment I felt the need to tell the girl. I didn't care if she didn't feel the same way but I just had to tell her!

School actually caused me to get depressed
School actually causes ALOT of people to become depressed. Remember you will and can get through it if you want to. If it's really not for you and it's really bringing you down let it go or change schools, majors or etc. Life is too short to worry about getting all A's in school. Besides all of the people I know with high incomes and bank accounts did not waste time in college. Fact. Hopefully you already have your high school diploma though that's a must have. Wishing you a fast recovery from depression.

This year I don't have any feeling of Christmas, I don't feel a damn thing. Everyone partying, drinking, dancing and I am here. It is not important a that the year changes, it is important that you personally change yourself to you better version. I am here and have goals, let it be 2020, 2021 ... 202N does not matter. Be happy not because the year changes, the planet rotates and is again in the same position but because you have changed, you have completed your goal, finished one book, got good grades, passed you exams or just bought what you wanted so many years.
I wish you for your lifetime to always be eager to realise your dreams, have a goal and complete it.

People take life for granted, only 30,000 days of an average life, of possibly your life. People like you will be forgotten. Only legends embrace there differences, they'll be remembered. If you think people are better than you, stronger than you, have more many than you, just think, how did they get it. People aren't born strong, you've to have experiences to benefit you from your future actions. Mediocre to meteoric. I love that.So far this year, I've quit my job that I've been wanting to quit for 2 years. I also joined a swim class and a yoga class, not to get fit but to meet people and step out of my comfort zone that is my house. I'm quite proud of myself. This year is going to change my life.

I even get shaky inside as I can feel the little fire inside of my heart, flicker. a flicker I believed had blown out. 2 years ago when I lost the ability to use my lower extremities.I slipped 38 feet down a reservoir in Colorado, injuring my spinal cord and compressing 3 vertebrae. They flew me 4 hours away, Requiring emergency surgery just to stabilize my spinal cord. I lost so much more than just my physical abilities, I lost my identity.. oh how I’ve longed to hear & feel some kind of hope to carry out my life & be who I was created to be. I desperately wanted to feel that little flame light up once more.. Thank you for relaying this message to me. I can’t express enough of my gratitude.

Coming from a pre-teen, I believe that one day I will be able to fly. Yet, I'm too scared. I sit here, on the ground, on a phone, staring at a screen all day. I admit that, I bet you reading this right now, are too. I'm slowly getting onto my feet. When I'm playing something, I won't try and be superior , nor doubt myself. I'll be myself. In fact, I'll close that device, go do something worth my time. Read a book, draw a picture, go outside! These recent generations disappoint me. Ive been struggling with school. You know the first year of high school everyone is all excited or hype as you would say. But now as the year ended i think back to last year and think of what ive accomplished. I don't think ive done anything at all last year that was amazing. I played the guitar for 2 months and stopped. But when i found Prince EA, he's the one that got me to where I'm leading to now. I've had thoughts in my head saying " you're not gonna make it far in life" or "you're not good at playing the guitar." Starting on this day January 11th I'm gonna do what I've dreamed of being when i was in 6th grade ive wanted to be a therapist because i want to hear what's in other peoples lives. I havent had the best life in the world and i havent had a lot of people help me through my times. I've always loved helping people no matter what our past looked like. Starting today I'm gonna go and do what my heart desires, what ive been hiding from myself all these years. Prince EA is the only guy who understands or relates to anyone in here. I'm gonna show the world what i can do. I'm thanking Prince EA and everyone who's reading this right now. This isn't just for me either, I want everyone to share everything they wanted but never had the guts to. Everyone on this planet is unique and gonna accomplish things in life. Thank you for taking time out of your day to read my message i had.

I've been wanting to do a lot of stuff but I am scared but when I gather up the courage and start doing what I wanna do I start doubting myself saying I don't have good equipment even though a year ago I was just hoping for any equipment to just start with. Now I'm also saying I shouldn't start now I gotta move out first then I started saying maybe I shouldn't do this until I lose weight first but now that I step back and see the whole picture I can tell that these are just excuses if everyone in the world waited like I'm waiting then no one would've ever been successful So now I'm gonna work this year on everything I've been dreaming of. This was the most inspiring speech I've seen in a long time. I literally got amped up and felt like jumping out of my seat and touchdown slamming my phone into the floor screaming. Thanks for doing what you do man. I cri every tim. No fr tho, this video kinda changed the perspective I look at things... Iv'e always felt like that "dumb" and "shy" kid in class. I'm always too afraid to answer questions, too afraid to raise my hand, and to top it all off, I blame it on "anxiety", "depression", and mostly "stress"... I feel so stupid, stupid enough to believe that I was ever anxious, depressed, or stressed... im not, im just a quitter who likes to blame shit on shit that's not supposed to be blamed.
