Im a Sporting Fan, and i really see Dalot playing in a Wing Back position. Mark my words - a Wing Back on a Amorim system have to manage to atack very well, but also be consistent in defense. Ahead of the game of Sunday, i really see dalot be on one wing, and probably Azmaroui on the other side - first game of Ruben, i dont see him putting a Garnacho at a wing, at least in this game. Bruno will play as Pote plays in sporting, as more pure ‘10’, and Garnacho or Rashford or also Mount as a more wide Winger. Hojlund will play at center forward, naturally. On the Center midfield, i see him putting Manu Ugarte, as he plays in that position in sporting under Ruben. Kobbie Mainoo will plays as a more Pure 8, with also offensive duties. Despite this view, sometimes i think we’ll see Bruno side by side with ugarte or Casemiro, and the on the front 3, Mount as a more Pure 10, and, in the other side, performing as a wide wing, Rashford or Garnacho. Lets Wait to see!

The biggest area i want Amorim to improve is the forwards. Since lst season we have been averaging negative goal differences. In other areas of the pitch we are decent, except upfront. I want to see the forwards gelling well and scoring boatloads of goals

I clearly see Dalot playing as one of the center backs. He likes fast center backs as sometimes maybe not tomorrow but in future the center backs sometimes will run in front to break lines and be the extra player as either winger or as extra Middlefield.
@@russianvictory1 he did play at Portugal national team there as well. With Amorim every player will get better at every aspect of the game. He adapted LB from sporting as center back and Coates, back then, covering all the balls behind.

Trincao is mostly an inverted winger but since his qualities on retaining the ball is good he drops into the midfield, but having different profiles for positions is key to outsmart the opponent

As a United fan, given the distance we've fallen, it IS exciting around Amorim's appointment. Combined with having Ineos, Berrada, Wilcox, Ashworth and others in a properly structured back room team. We WILL be bringing in fresh, young, hungry, smaller salaried players (easier to sell on) that are bought for the club and not the manager/coach. We WILL have an identity/way of playing on the pitch with pace and intensity - or the players will be benched, then out. We haven't had that in near a decade. I could be wrong; it could be another false dawn. But i'm hopeful.

I'd say Bruno falls back a bit deeper into the midfield role. We need him for the long haul. He keeps lunging into tackles and bodies, and at 30, the captain needs to preserve himself.
Under Amorim, Bruno will be strictly controlled. He won't be popping up at RB or CDM, or, or...He'll play like he does for Portugal, or he'll be on the bench, then out. Both are awkward fits for me. Diallo and someone like Nkuku would be better for me. Both can drive forward, one is a powerful forward player and the other can beat players, is unselfish and drives the ball forward too. Ill be happy no matter what if we perform well and get results.

Fernandes isnt the perfect fit for one of those no.10's like people say. He doesn't make driving runs, he doesnt progress the ball like that and that's what Amorim wants from those two. Amorim might adapt to Fernandes or Fernandes might adapt to his tactics but i think he is an odd fit. Rashford makes runs but doesn't have great decision making and isn't very creative. Both are awkward fits for me. Diallo and someone like Nkuku would be better for me. Both can drive forward, one is a powerful forward player and the other can beat players, is unselfish and drives the ball forward too. Ill be happy no matter what if we perform well and get results.
