Being Portuguese (from Benfica) and a big admirer of Amorim, I followed all his career as player and coach. I've seen hundreds of videos (from liverpool and united supporters, mainly) and none is even close to this one. Brilliant! Great great work! Only thing that I can add, is that I never saw someone in Portuguese football (player or coach) that was so respected and admired by everyone. Every football fan loves Amorim (no matter Benfica, Sporting or Porto). All journalists thanked him for his attitude, honesty and respect. Looking forward to watch him take back United where it belongs!

I'm a 50 year-old Sporting fan from Portugal and first would like to say well done for this video! It's amazingly put-together and immensely accurate but, although you've probably just watched it, I'm sure you're yet to fully realize the manager you've just signed. Not only he has all you might expect from an elite manager (a leader's aura, top game-reading and tactical skills, brilliant communication skills towards his team and the press, phenomenal charisma and that gut instinct that only the great ones have) but also - and this is probably his best skill - the ability to generate amazing team spirit by deeply bonding with all squad, so that even those players who don't get to play often are highly motivated when they are called to step in. Indeed, he single-handedly changed Sporting's mentality and football structure to something I never thought I'd witness in my lifetime. FYI, club rivalry is also very intense in Portugal (isn't it everywhere?) but Amorim managed to generate awe and consensus also from Benfica and Porto fans in a way I never thought possible (something that, for instance, Mourinho never managed to achieve). If he's not able to turn things around at United, no one will.

After this coach came to my football club I learned to appreciate the game again. Every match starts at the press conference, the day before. I've never seen a coach communicate in a way to engage everyone around him like that and I promised myself that, aside from if he ever manages Benfica, I would follow him to any club in the world. All because I know this man is capable of something special. I can't wait to witness it at United. Yea, but ETH was more of a disciplinarian, whereas Amorim seems to be more charismatic. And I think United actually needed the discipline back then, with Ronaldo, Sancho, etc.. But he was maybe a bit too strict and rigid with them.
Brilliant video! You did a good job of showcasing what we as Sporting fans felt for so many years, thousands of kids and teenagers had never seen our club win once a league title, but always heard about what a great club we are in our country. This guy came and completely revitalized the Sporting fans spirit in just 4 years. We went back to being respected by our rivals and the smaller clubs were obligated to respect us, as in the years before they always felt like it was possible to win points against us. The guy is incredible at communicating with the players, journalists and fans and has put such an aura on all of the SportingCP world that we all felt like internally we could dominate this year and beat all club and maybe league records. Maybe even go the furthest we have ever been in the Champions League. For all the United fans i just have to say to you, believe in this guy and give him the time he needs to build a team in his image. As a Porto supporter, I've never respected and admired a rival manager as much as I do with Amorim. Although he was always a rival to my Porto, I liked him as a player as well, unfortunately he was tormented with injuries, but now as a manager, he's getting the recognition he deserves. A tatical monster and a gentleman off the pitch. I hope he lifts United up just like he did with Sporting. He fits perfectly within the project. He loves challenges, United needs a comeback and he deserves the success. I hope it's a match a made in heaven.

As a Porto supporter, I've never respected and admired a rival manager as much as I do with Amorim. Although he was always a rival to my Porto, I liked him as a player as well, unfortunately he was tormented with injuries, but now as a manager, he's getting the recognition he deserves. A tatical monster and a gentleman off the pitch.
I hope he lifts United up just like he did with Sporting. He fits perfectly within the project. He loves challenges, United needs a comeback and he deserves the success.

Just to point out that once Amorim left my SportingCP only win against a team similiar to your´s national league for the cup, we passed from unbeatable when everyone fear us to the old Sporting once again and all of this in only 2 weeks and this makes me see United games to see how lucky you guys are
