Bought a submariner as my wedding watch from AD at retail in 2014. Had to sell at a huge loss end 2015 cause the oil price tanked, didn’t have a job and I had a daughter coming. I got my job back in 2018, things stabilise and was in the hunt for the same piece. In 2020 i re-bought the SAME EXACT piece at a premium. Silly to some but this piece will never ever leave the collection! 😅

Thank you for the wonderful ultra high quality content! I totally love the Union Glashutte and had no idea that watch existed. Will keep an eye out for it, looks spectacular. Love the Longines marine, do you enjoy it more than the sector dial? I would still either, 1. sell all 3 rolex and get a daytona or zenith, or 2. Keep the explorer 2 and sell the others. That's absolutely down to personal taste. It's absolutely the right move to experience all 3 as watches and give them an honest chance!

Tiffany Doxa Sub200 is really hard to find these days. I missed one and can't find another. Andrei's episode showed it great, and since then I wanted it badly, but so far, there has been no success.

Great collection. I just got my first certina (DS 43) after watching a review of yours. I owe you thanks as its an amazing piece for the price paid from an AD. Only piece I ever regret selling and will likely one day repurchase is an oris aquis. Think I want to save for the 400 movement though.
I used to think pfft who needs a watch nowadays, but pulling out a phone while riding a bike isn't the most practical thing, so I bought a GShock and then another, next thing I was in the Rabbit Hole of watch collecting. Love watching SOTC and you're collection is awesome, some interesting and fun pieces, thank u for sharing. Peace out

The only watch I’ve moved on that I wish I’d kept was a Rado Centrix of all things 😆 because it’s the only one I miss. It was some years ago, the design is long out of production, and I’ve never seen it again anywhere (other Centrix designs are not the same!). Happy 2023 and looking forward to more thoughtful and interesting videos! Thank you.

Seiko cocktail time watches are the pinnacle of beauty without breaking out the cheque book , for me watches realistically over 6k -10k become just flex peices . Not that I would be anyway the sub $500 price range sitting on my wrist will do me just fine .
Fantastic video and impressive collection. Please do not stop to provide us amazing vlogs/reviews and your opinion about watches and watch industry. Keep pushing TH-cam algorytm. ;) I get box for 8 watches only, so I am stick with this box and that rule. I need three more watches to fulfil my box. Currently I have Rose Gold Alpina Startimer 40mm 2020 edition (in my opinion the best pilot watch under 2K pounds), Gold Frederique Constant Classic with Roman painted hours marks (something for more distinctive occasions), Farer Elvington II (flyback chrono with amazing dial, like all Farer watches, my top 3 micro/boutique brands), Venezianico Redentore matt white dial (I just love the design of their watches, I am waiting for edition with Swiss movement, so then I can replace it), Mido Multifort 38mm black dial (my fav daily watch, superb quality for money). My plans for 2023 - Chronograph from Brellum/Longines/Mido/Farer or something retro. Ideally hand wound movement, however I can consider also Automatic. Sector Dial watch, I am not sure which brand yet. Plans for 2023/24 - Diver or Field Watch. Don't know which brand yet. Definitely something special. Then hopefully my collection will be finished and I will take more time to enjoy my life and of course watches which I own. Happy new year!

Congratulations on your collection, Andrei! Its diversity shows how much passion you put into the hobby. Can you share with us what platforms do you use to safly sell or buy watches as your collection matures?
I had one watch sale regret out of about 25. A watch that has almost no interest in the community - a Swiss Military Hanowa Helvetus automatic. First purchased from Zalando Lounge early in my watch journey for a ridiculous £142. It had sunburst dial, applied numerals & logo, steel date window, fully decorated Swiss movement, great case & dial finishing, anti-reflective sapphire, perfect fit and a supple leather strap. I sold it because I thought the movement was in need of a service and wanted to fund a Mondaine Stop2Go for £250. After a couple of years the £250 area watches now sounded dirt cheap to me and I realised it was only hard to wind because of the rubbish crown, so bought a blue bracelet version for £200, absolutely love it. If I was not an idiot I would've just kept that first Helvetus as my only watch lol!
The Union Glashutte is my goal watch and I plan to save and buy it for myself. I want to get the Seiko SARX029 as a graduation gift to myself this year and then get the Union Glashutte Moonphase as a possible Christmas gift to me!

My favorite diver in your collection is the Peren Nera Rogue BW! it looks beautiful! Certainly a piece with its own character. My only immediate issue with it is the long lugs... And certainly the one that stands out the most is the HappieWatch. I'll hopefully be looking into owning one of those soon, after some research.

@Roy.Visser The only thing that bothers me is nearly 14 mm thickness of that Sub200. Lugs are 45 mm and 19mm, but still not a thin watch to wear.

I get box for 8 watches only, so I am stick with this box and that rule. I need three more watches to fulfil my box.
Currently I have Rose Gold Alpina Startimer 40mm 2020 edition (in my opinion the best pilot watch under 2K pounds), Gold Frederique Constant Classic with Roman painted hours marks (something for more distinctive occasions), Farer Elvington II (flyback chrono with amazing dial, like all Farer watches, my top 3 micro/boutique brands), Venezianico Redentore matt white dial (I just love the design of their watches, I am waiting for edition with Swiss movement, so then I can replace it), Mido Multifort 38mm black dial (my fav daily watch, superb quality for money).
My plans for 2023 - Chronograph from Brellum/Longines/Mido/Farer or something retro. Ideally hand wound movement, however I can consider also Automatic. Sector Dial watch, I am not sure which brand yet.
Plans for 2023/24 - Diver or Field Watch. Don't know which brand yet. Definitely something special.
Then hopefully my collection will be finished and I will take more time to enjoy my life and of course watches which I own.

Congratulations on your collection, Andrei! Its diversity shows how much passion you put into the hobby. Can you share with us what platforms do you use to safly sell or buy watches as your collection matures?
I had one watch sale regret out of about 25. A watch that has almost no interest in the community - a Swiss Military Hanowa Helvetus automatic. First purchased from Zalando Lounge early in my watch journey for a ridiculous £142. It had sunburst dial, applied numerals & logo, steel date window, fully decorated Swiss movement, great case & dial finishing, anti-reflective sapphire, perfect fit and a supple leather strap. I sold it because I thought the movement was in need of a service and wanted to fund a Mondaine Stop2Go for £250. After a couple of years the £250 area watches now sounded dirt cheap to me and I realised it was only hard to wind because of the rubbish crown, so bought a blue bracelet version for £200, absolutely love it. If I was not an idiot I would've just kept that first Helvetus as my only watch lol!

My favorite diver in your collection is the Peren Nera Rogue BW! it looks beautiful! Certainly a piece with its own character. My only immediate issue with it is the long lugs... And certainly the one that stands out the most is the HappieWatch. I'll hopefully be looking into owning one of those soon, after some research.
