- Today, Coasty explores two different modes of travelling between the amazing harbour city of Hong Kong and the third largest city in China, Guangzhou. BULLET TRAIN AND BOAT
You'll learn the process of how to take the train, book tickets and navigate the different sections of West Kowloon Station in HK. The return journey takes the metro system to southeast Guangzhou before hopping on the ferry at Nansha Port and arriving back in Tsim Sha Tsui near the Star Ferry in Kowloon.

I'm a closet train nerd too although I was never a spotter but it is definitely my favourite mode of transport 👍👍
You can take the ferry at Pa Zhou(琶洲) port which is right at the city centre of Guangzhou to TST too. It takes 2 to 3 hours

Great video. Very informative
I think theres a bus as well that runs from hk to gz. If you go the other way to hk u would be able to spot one right away due to the drivers seat on the right and the bus door on the left in the mainland.
Fun fact... "Hong Kong West Kowloon" Highspeed Rail Station is EAST of BOTH Hong Kong Station AND Kowloon Station for the Airport Express/Tung Chung Line... 🤣
In fact, were Hong Kong Station (I mean that for MTR Tung Chung Line) not called this name, Hong Kong West Kowloon should have been named Hong Kong Station
Indonesia whoosh top speed 420 km/h, to oprator 350 km/h, usualy by car to bandung 3or4 hours, but by high speed railway Indonesia whoosh to bandung city only 45 minuts. Wow
Ya, since the train is simply CR400AF, which is that shown in this video
Considering they are Chinese designed trains yes the Chinese trains can run that fast.
But apparently they don't to preserve the train especially on shorter runs
Although I am surprised they didn't speed up the train to make up for time
@@DW-op7ly whoosh whoosh yes 👍
Thank you for the video. How much is the bullet train ride fr hk to guangzhou?
This is a nice video, but a little expensive in respect.
👍👍👍
Sorry its 70 & 58 usd.
Never ever take the high speed train btn hk and gz... It's a joke and most locals don't take it.
12 minute delay is not a big deal. Why you hate train to gz?
@@IlNY777 did I say delay?
But in fact the bullet train is always full. No one cares what you choose.
@@IlNY777well, for China Railway, 12 min delay is considered long. In general, the delay should be in a few min
你自己睇下長假期西九龍站幾多人先講嘢啦,新聞都有賣,起之前啲人夠話大白象啦,宜家嗰班人都唔知去曬邊,話唔定坐得最開心就系佢地
