@Y u helf to be med? it just a game Forza Horizon is the best arcade racing game. It's perfect for fun, but you don't get so much pleasure when driving cause it's still an arcade.
I always had pocket money but I always saved it just in case. never was into drugs.and now I also do some minor comptuer work so I get some income, and right away I bought a car
Yeah, one of my best friends is a gamer so I now how similar both hobbies are, except that in one you're sitting most of the time home in front of a screen and in the other you're much outside or in a garage.
This 100%. I'm super into cars but don't know a lot about tinkering with engines. I have an 06 Mini Cooper S. All I have on it are an Exhaust, a 15% pulley for the supercharger, a CAI and some wheels. I only installed the CAI and the wheels. It's not the fastest thing in the world, but I'd be lying if I said it isn't the most fun I've had driving a car ever. It puts the biggest smile on my face just by driving it.
The thing that suck is that I work at a car dealership as a porter and NONE of the the salesman are into cars. i could spot a nice looking classic car at the stoplight and, all they just see some old guy trying to relive his youth. I hear a guy zooming down the road in a nice C7 corvette, and they think it's just some rich teenager trying to show off
Yeah, that is really sad. I've noticed that too though tbh. The majority of them are just there to sell and go home. They don't have any passion when it comes to cars.
Yeah, seems they are more about the PERSON IN THE CAR, the car just an object, no matter how much you love it. Nothing wrong with that, just different perspectives. My step dad is very into cars, but that doesn't mean he doesn't acknowledge the human inside. Maybe you should start focusing a little more on the person, believe it, or not they are a much bigger variable, and presence than just about any car you can imagine. The car wouldn't be there without a human to put it there.
My stock na miata was a ton of fun, i added an exhaust sytem, a custom air intake and some coil overs and it increased that fun factor. I might be smiling while driving it but my bank isnt.
yes. a well cared for car is cool no matter what. Even an old kia spectra from 2002 in showroom condition would turn heads at a cars and coffee meet, just for the novelty of someone keeping or restoring a throwaway car.
I'm only 19 and I had to work really hard for a couple of years to pay off my first car - a 2016 Nissan Versa (jesus christ the Nissan Versa is HORRIBLY BORING TO DRIVE), I then sold it, and I've recently purchased a 1995 Mazda Miata. Now all together I probably lost some money along the way by selling a virtually new car for an old POS that leaks oil and has more rattles than a rattle snake. However, even though the car has some minor problems I absolutely adore it. Tomorrow I'll be buying my first ''car parts'' a set of new tires and new shocks. Now, if you're a young car enthusiasts watching this video, hang in there, you just have to wait, work hard, and your time will come.
Keep that Miata please,it will be the best thing you have done in your life.Im 33 and ive regreted all my life spending money on other cars.I own an 2004 Miata now and it still makes me smile when i drive it,4 years now.
Hey man a 2011 Versa has been my first car! Been dependable and great, but I agree, I want something a little more fun. Honestly was thinking about an old El camino because it's also a truck
I never realized how much of a difference a better-handling car could make, even if it isn't particularly fast, until I got a Mazda 6. I'd like to think the spirit of the Miata is in there somewhere lol.
My 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS has 140 horsepower, rear wheel drive, has primer for a paintjob, and has a less than decent interior. It's my first car, and yet every time I start it up in the morning, or just rev the engine a little, it puts a huge smile on my face. My car is laughable by today's standard, but I love it all the more because of it. Because of what it means to me.
When I was 12 our local racing Team needed an additional Driver in the youth Divison. I knew the Owner of the team back then and he just asked me one day if I want to race some stuff. (we raced bigger Go Carts in the Youth Divison) . Well turns out i'm 24 now and addicted to this shit. Damn.
Shout out to easter Europe car guys, they work for $300/month and they are happy. someone owning an BMW M car there is considered rich, so enthusiast go with base models and mod them.
I think half the reason that cars is such a hobby for a lot of people is because there is always something next to do that is sliiightly out of reach. Its similar to the reason people like to gamble - there is always something else just around the corner to get. If everyone could afford whatever car they wanted and whatever mods they wanted, I dont think car culture would be as vast as it is today. People always aspire to that next mod, it keeps them coming back.
I go through cars quickly cause I finish a build then I get bored lol. My parents wonder why I put so much shit on my car. I tell them they domy understand lol
Well said, very true. An addiction similar to gambling but I feel good spending my money over and over on parts, even little subtle things that I install quick I get to see it everyday and get a cheesy grin for a while until I find something else that I "need to have" and that's the cycle until it all comes together ( but it never ends). IMO I think it's the only addiction someone could have and actually live a normal life, and be happy every day, you actually possess everything you spent all your money on and you can get behind the wheel and abuse the shit out of it if you want to get your jollies off 😜
That thing about "being a car enthusiast that doesn't own a car" is very true I have many friends that dont even have a car but sill love cars and know a lot about them.
Regis Riley Yes, some people prefer to take the bus or something and keep their money to buy a car that they really love and that fits them later on... 👍
we have the same insight. i wanted to buy my first car but i wanted for it to be 2nd hand and fix everything rather than buying a new one. i dont know it feels much satisfying plus i can learn cars on the way. and i can save more money than buying a new one.
Steel Cobra Who are they to tell you you’re not a car enthusiast? Last I checked, you decide what you’re passionate about and there is no age requirement for that. As for the big dream thing, it’s only impossible when you give up on it. Idk what you’re dream is but find people who will support it because those other people are killing your dream (cut their opinions out).
The first thing that any car owner needs to worry about when they own a car is maintenance. No matter how fast, how cool or how tricked out a car is, if it's not maintained it will all be for nothing. Great video BTW!
I don't envy a 1000hp Mustang, I envy a manual trans Mazda 2. But yeah, all that matter is the smile on my face. And for me, it's driving at 6 in the morning at a mountain road, even though my car is an automatic 110hp hatchback.
Agreed! This is what bothers me about car games lately, the cars that occupy my thoughts aren't the insane hyper cars, the crazy super cars, or even the 100,000k or 40k cars. Cheap cars with modifications (especially different, interesting ones) are what interest me. Mazda 2s are neat. There was one selling locally a year ago that actually had coilovers installed. Right now the daily I'd like though is a manual 2013+ Kia Rio5. Manual tiny eco cars are so hard to find!
Last year I bought my first car that wasn’t handed down to me. I worked my butt off to get the money and bought it for a few grand cash. It’s a 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT and it’s the best purchase I’ve ever made. Then maybe a month ago I bought a 1985 300ZX Z31 (non-turbo) for $200 out of a barn and it’s slowly getting roadworthy again. Cars are great. I thank my dad for the passion cause I grew up with a wrench in my hand :)
You must not own a popular car! lol I have an Evo X. There's nothing made for this car that isn't above 100$... (exaggeration but still, very nearly 100% accurate).
Evo, STI, Supra, GTR, S2K, M3, ect ect ect the list goes on. Buy one of these cars your bill for parts is above the roof. You will be homeless before you know it lol
Its so frustrating to be probably the most obsessed-with-cars 14 year old and not be able to drive. Have no car friends. Cant go to meets. And just seeing all this and not be able to put my passion into practice is the worst feeling ever. I feel like when you were little and all the kids from your block were playing outside but you had to stay home because you were grounded. Yeah, not the best feeling ever. I just wish I could start doing something car related. Wanna meet new car people. Wanna drift. Wanna release all this anxiety that I have to start working on a car. Ahhh and the worst part is I have no money. Perfect (:
Yeah, that's pretty frustrating! I don't have any car friends either, but I do have a car. And I have tried to turn my friends into gear heads without much luck, except that a friend of mine bought a GT86 instead of some boring crap. You just gotta hang in there! Do some work for your family or neighbours. Small jobs. Wash cars, paint a garage. And don't spend your money on other things like phones, games, PC, TV.. I was in the exact same situation when I was 14. You can also consider getting into RC cars or model building. Building models doesn't have to cost much, but again, you gotta save money... Do you know what car you wanna get?
Crazy Horse Yes. ever since I was in FIRST GRADE I have been obsessed with the evo 9. Always loved that car but it wasn't until recently that I decided I want to get a WRX STI. Also, I didnt know much about those model cars you are mentioning. Do you know where I can get them?
Start saving up money for a car! WRX STI sounds resonable if you can get one a bit older, at least not brand new. And if insurance isn't too high. But if you get a job at 16-17 it will be fine. If you can afford it you should buy it, even if it seems like a lot of money, and you gotta plan on keeping it, and work on it. When I was 14-15 I bought plastic model cars (you can get them in metal) and an air-brush to spray paint them, then you glue the parts together. There were different wheels available, exhausts, and i would make my own parts out of plastic and stuff. But there might only be older style cars available, from 1920-1980, not sure. Revell make a lot of these model cars, but there are also other companies. You should be able to buy it at a hobby store, for rc cars, planes etc. You can search for model car building videoes and stuff to see if you find it interesting
Mario Interesting.. You don't wanna work with your hands? Like mechanical work? Good luck with military! Hope you enjoy it. I hated doing all the shit we were told, just for $20 a day.... hopefully you like the place you end up in. And you can save up money there to get a cool car :)
Jdm Nick bruhhh trust me i feel u! u aint the only 1. at 14 i had the same damn thoughts but i just let time pass and took that time to learn about cars more and tried saving up the money i could for when i turn 16 and now im 16 and i saved up money and bought an integra dc4 and i love it so much but trust me bro ull get there u jus gotta be patient and save ur money!
awesome inspirational video. You're so right, many people think that you need a fully built car to be part of the ''car life'' thats completly worong ,all you need is a car that makes smiles in your face. I have a 00 nb miata, bone stock, o2, egr and iac failing, probably under 100whp,, putting every single penny into it, but let me say, that car makes me absolutely happy, and thats the part of being a car guy, enjoy your machine, no matter how simple is. Good job guys.
Hell yeah you can! I worked at a McDonald's and I still bought one of my dream cars, it just takes hard work and a little sacrifice but it's all worth it
''It's about what makes you happy. Just because you don't have a 1000hp Mustang doesn't mean you can't have fun or into cars'' I totally agree with this. Instant fan of your channel!
It's not what you buy, it's what you build. You can be a car guy even if you don't have money to upgrade the car. It's an huge achievement if you can fix your own car and that makes you more than just a car guy. Lots of people are into cars but they can't afford one. Yet those people know more about cars than an average person.
My problem is, I"m into all of it. I lean towards tinkering, not too into detailing, or super cars, but I like foreign and domestic, drifting, grip, I'm leaning towards rally right now. I like the thought of a major build, but I also enjoy a lightweight low hp car on the back roads.
This video doesn't just explain why I am into cars. It feels like I am taking a journey into the minds of other people's experiences and passion for cars. Such a well thought out and touching video. This is why you have to love the car community.
The first car that I bought myself, a 1995 mustang gt, was totaled yesterday by someone turning in front of me, everyone was ok, but I started tearing up when they towed it away, I don't have a lot of money at the moment, but I'm already on the hunt for another car to make me smile
I always look at these comments and wonder "how are these people doing now?". Maybe one day, I'll get a reply, a reply that brings a tear of joy to my eye
yea, I wish gavin would follow up with an update. btw, does insurance company compensate you for the loss of your car? and how much? enough to buy the same car?
I saved and saved for a classic Porsche and got one as my only car, my daily driver. I'm definitely not in the same income bracket as most who have classic Porsches. After 9 months, I lost it in a freeway accident. Because of various circumstances, I also lost the equity I had in it. I had to buy a car quick on little money and took a huge step downward to something more standard again. I've had a lot of disdain for the new car as it represents the loss of my dream car. And I felt suddenly cast from the car community of which I was just starting to get involved with. This video really spoke to me. I don't need my old Porsche to still be an enthusiast. I can save up again. I can love cars the way I did before I had the Porsche. Thank you.
@@SteveLowtwait damn thats heavy. the 944 is one of my favorite porsches. Keep your daily and get a miata or some little go kart like that and just mod it up as a project car. Doesnt matter if it breaks or it gets damaged. You just take it back and fix it again. Thats the great thing about miatas is that if you go to a junkyard, you can almost always find the part you need.
Just finding and riding the car that puts a smile on your face is really what its all about whenever I just step on it in my golf and hear that motor rev, it puts a big grin on my face no matter how stock it is.
I love that comment. “you don’t have to own a car to be a car enthusiast.” I remember being flat out broke and just having enough money to afford driving lessons whilst I studied. Often people would say because I didn’t have a car I couldn’t have loved them that much, or couldn’t be a car guy. Well now I’ve graduated, passed my test and got a car, I love them all the same. Nothing beats just getting up early or going for a drive at night. Love them and love sharing the love with friends.
I wouldn't say that you need a lot of money at all to be into cars, but you definitely need commitment, especially on a budget. I got my automatic na 89 240 (Volvo here, sorry not sorry!) for free from my neighbors. It sat for a long time, and took a great deal of learning and time to get it where it is today. Recently, I was able to swap in a 5 speed (it's so much better!), which less than a year ago was a distant pipe dream. All in all, I'm in this for less than $3000 over the course of a year and a half, which is pretty damn affordable when talking about cars! Now I just need to find a turbo red block... :) Anyway, awesome video guys, love the editing and topics!
$3000 dollars? what are you crazy? thats so freaking expensive stop right there and send some of that money my way haha.... seriously though im about to buy a E30 and some extra money would be nice but this sort of good samaritan shit only happens on tv and dubai.
honestly don’t worry about what kind of car you have, and no one else will either. i drive a 2002 base model chevy cavalier with a 5 speed manual and two holes rusted out in the muffler and me and my friends all love it. it is just a great feeling being together just parked in a parking lot or someone’s driveway.
I have a MK4 VW Golf I love so much on budget, love ever since years ago after a crash it had and worked hard and having fun repairing it with parts off another dead golf to fix mine. After its fixed and running again and gave it a new name after the scientist who made the monster, called mine GOLFENSTIEN!!!
We have a lot of old junk car enthusiasts in my country, I'm one of them. You buy a cheap old car and learn to use its full potential. You learn to explore all the fun you can have with it when it's not broken AGAIN at the time. Loads of fun. And drifting with FWD car is not that easy, so learning that is quite satisfying.
I'm 15 and my mom and dad bought me a jeep compass and let me drive them for errands and road trips even the 2min drive to school, and I still enjoy driving it despite it being an objectively boring car. These type of videos are absolute bangers, and i will always refer them to people who ask why I like cars so much.
Damn Ed that R32 with those rims is just pure heaven to me, my favorite car by far! i love this video. This way also non car enthousiast can understand us just a little more. Keep up the good vids.
neon high demand, cant find any 240 with less than 200k km on it for under 7000$ in canada, the best one i could find had 260k was somewhat clean, and the guy wanted 5000$ for it, i wanted it but i have to pay for school so im just gonna stick with my mk4 vw jetta
I don't really consider myself a hardcore car guy but i love my hondas and my acura rsx. They might not be the fastest thing out there but something about shifting gears taking a tight corner that puts a smile on my face.
the video AND the comment section put a smile on my face :), I can relate to some things like being young and alone in the car scene but also I can feel the happiness of some car owners here, saw one comment about a mitsubishi eclipse from the 90s and how it can put a smile on someones face. Truly heartwarming
Hell, I drive a base model vibe that only has 120 some horses, but my God, I love that car like it's my child. Yeah it does 0-60 in 9 seconds, sure the Rev limiter is only 6,500, yeah the speedometer only says 120 but that car is my love. I wouldn't trade it for a Ferrari. Sure I barely have any money in it, but I'm trying to get a second job so I can buy upgrades. I love that car with all my heart, seeing it run rough or finding something wrong hurts. I wouldn't give that car up for the world. That car is my passion, no matter what anyone says.
Lol. I have an 85 mr2. 0-60 in some amount of time. Rev limiter at 7500rpm, speedometer says 160, but it doesn't go faster than 77 or the engine might explode. Rwd are it fly around corners super fun car.
Alex SAAB The prices are different for everybody. in Germany you can get a e36 for as cheap as 2500$ but old and used Mustangs that are fairly cheap in America cost a small fortune here.
Alex SAAB I own a BMW in the states. I said that due to what chassis and engine that BMW has will determine cost of upkeep. Ex: E9x>E36 on terms of maintenance cost and upkeep.
Alex SAAB I'm 18 and my first car was a $2500 e39 540i/6, then I got an e30, then an e34 and motor swapped it and then I traded my gaming pc for an e46 330ci then traded that up for my current e36. I'm 18 and on my 5th BMW on my own all my money. Only thing my parents pay for is insurance and that's not eve full coverage. Otherwise being 18 I've been able to afford bimmers and currently saving up to boost my 328 :)
What I love is saying coil overs etc is inexpensive tells me these guys have a pretty modest budget. Ppl like me have a budget next to zero but we still find a way to mod our cars.
I got myself a 4 door 1987 corolla in red. With both summer and winter tires original rim covers everything stock non modified for 200 dollars and it was driveable and street legall. Its my first car the first thing i did was remove the extra lights.
i have a very basic A4 and there are no mods, but she is my baby. I learned to drive standard in her and i always look at her as i walk into work, home or the gym. always brings a smile to my face. and i have a v6 new edge that im currently building on a budget. its my first build and i get excited every morning when i see it next to my A4.
I got hooked on cars about a year ago when i actually found intrest in some drift videos and even though i cant drive yet i am so intrested in this community one of my higher goals is to be able to get a car when ever i can to try and learn to drift or something that keeps me involved with this awesome community
The ending sentence with be happy with the car you got was so inspiring. Since I just bought a Ford Focus MK 2.5 from 2008 with 125bhp and a relatively sporty look I can't be more but happy. It cost me around 5000 Euros and the driving experience is just pure fun. Even with my goal being to purchase a Mustang GT sometime I really appreciate the car that I have.
Nick Harshaw they are both front engine rwd sports cars. Yes 240sx might have more aftermarket parts and can be cheaper to upgrade, but as a stock setup the 240sx is not worth what you pay for. 240s are being sold for 3 to even 6 grand for a stock s13/s14 240. For 5k I can get even a clean e36 m3. For 2 or 3k I can get a e36 or e46 328i which is much greater value than a ka24 powered 240sx. My buddy owns a drift setup 318i e36 he got for cheap and he has swapped the s52 from the m3 model. For what he has setup it's much cheaper than what it would equally cost for the 240sx. Since they engines are from the same type of car it's plug and play. For a 240sx you really can only easily swap a sr20 which is a okay motor, but can't be built reliably to power.
Okay just to correct a few things. An S52 isn't just a plug and play swap. Subframes, suspension, harness, ECU etc. etc. An SR20 can easily be built to power reliably.
My car is a v6 mustang and no its not the 3.7 it’s the 4.0 the slow one but Every time I fire it up huge big stupid smiles on my face every time I rev match every time I down shift I just feel in love more I don’t care about going 0-60 in 4 sec all i care a bout is the fun u get driving ur baby ❤️❤️❤️❤️
YES is the answer. My first car was a 1986 Toyota Celica. Absolute unit that car. Used to throw it around corners and street race with my friends. I had another friend into old Alfa Romeo's and his scene was "show and shine" where you just detailed it for days and kept it stock. We didn't earn much but those cars gave us loads of great times! 20+ years later, I'm driving an SUV because it makes the more sense about 360 days of the year.
I swear, y'all's videos really expose the passion and intimacy (not in a sexual way for all you weirdos lol) of being a true car person. They're extremely positive and uplifting, inspiring. Keep up the hard work guys! One of my favorite channels on TH-cam, hands down.
TÜV :D es enrvt soo hart! für jedes kleine teil brauchst ne ABE. Meine Celica ist zwar Clean und alles legal aber es ist so teuer und umständlich ! Germany TÜV is the biggest crap on the earth. German Culture thins a lot different..... to sad! You need for every little part you change on your car a new registration what costs much... when the parts dont match to your car, police will stop you and you car is gone.

Best Of Times are definetly the most valuable parts of life so enjoy what you have.
Videos like this are great, they remind me that there’s so much passion out there for the thing I love even if I don’t get it. I love road driving, rather than track driving or going to meets so what’s usually important to me is keeping on top on maintenance schedules of the older stuff I drive. Nothing classic, but making sure it’s all working like it should. A lot of the time I find the mod guys motivations difficult to get because it’s so different from what I try to achieve, but it’s all passion. It’s a good reminder that someone who does something that would make a car worse for my use (stancing for example) isn’t a bad thing.
I live in Sweden and i hate it. Taxes everywhere, but: FINDING A CAR THAT IS OLD AND DRIFTABLE IS HARD ASF! A 240 is close to impossible to find, and there are not many car meets. You have to travel around at least 74km. There's no nice car on the streets, just ugly SUVs that look bad and other scrap 4-cylinder mini-turbo-charged-aluminimum-block cars. Sure, BMW, easy drift car in Sweden. But japanese cars, (That are great, not a Nissan micra) are VERY HARD to find. Not talking about that the government makes you pay A LOT in taxes if you have a rating over Euro6 in Co2. (Like, a 1000$ for owning a Corvette. THiNk aBouT DieSeL cArS...) Yep, i live in Sweden, but i hate it. Yes, we car-guys are computer-enthusiast who thought it was to cheap. Well.... NOT IN SWEDEN TAXES ON ELECTRONICS IN SWEDEN TOO BUUUECHHHH!! Oh, a GPU in America: 300$ Same GPU in Sweden: 500$ Hate it.
"A 240 is close to impossible to find" That's because everyone is keeping theirs. And yeah, I hate SUV's namely because of two things: 1) Women are more than likely driving those things, making commutes slow and boring and 2) They drove manufacturers towards that demographic, ruining the car market for the low-middle class in terms of RWD vehicles... even if you want to have fun in a vehicle it's only from one traffic light to the next nowadays in america.
@@SweetyR1 We do, but turbo 740's are getting expensive. 940s are cheap, but I'm guessing he wants an older car to avoid taxation. And likely not an old Volvo. Best bet would probably be to engine swap an old car. I FB-gruppen "JDM Life Sweden Köp & Sälj" dyker 240's upp titt som tätt.

The thing that suck is that I work at a car dealership as a porter and NONE of the the salesman are into cars.
i could spot a nice looking classic car at the stoplight and, all they just see some old guy trying to relive his youth.
I hear a guy zooming down the road in a nice C7 corvette, and they think it's just some rich teenager trying to show off
Alex's Customs I also work at a dealership, but as express lube what brand do you work at and what kind of car do u drive?
Lol those seem kinda opposite though. Can’t remember the last time I saw someone under 40 driving a vette
I loved it
Unpopular opinion: you don't always have to mod your car to be a car guy. Stock can rock
especially if its old school, stock can be worth more money down the road.
Id rather have a stock car than a poorly modded car although it would look funny going to a car meet in a stock car
I may get some hate, but a stock miata is a bunch of fun
acmadni turner stock is always more worth than modded
My stock na miata was a ton of fun, i added an exhaust sytem, a custom air intake and some coil overs and it increased that fun factor. I might be smiling while driving it but my bank isnt.
This video gave me the chills.

All cool cars have one thing in common. They are all clean! I have never thought of that, but it is so true.
yes. a well cared for car is cool no matter what. Even an old kia spectra from 2002 in showroom condition would turn heads at a cars and coffee meet, just for the novelty of someone keeping or restoring a throwaway car.
To the other side of that rat rods are cheap nasty and fun to drive.
What about that Ford GT That won Le Mans?
It is Dirty af :)
Yeah I got a 2015 Lancer ES and I'm about to trade it in for an R34 GT-T. The new Lancers are boring, got CVT in it. Can't wait to get a Skyline
I’m looking at miatas a lot right now. They are a bit more pricey in my area but I want to know if it is worth it.

Lawrence Vicar Well, you do you. And don’t let nobody stop you.
Your car isn’t rear wheel drive dude. GSX models had all wheel drive , but there was never a rear drive Eclipse. It’s great you enjoy it tho..
fuck u talking about that car is awesome and rare in holland
Fairly certain the gs is fwd only. Gsx was awd, but I don't know of a rwd eclipse from the factory.

My paycheck went gone in 3 days tho. So it is a money burning hobby aha

Steel Cobra Gotta start somewhere, just stay safe and be responsible. Cheers!
Well it's really true, street racing isn't a source of income and car culture is much more tame than what is portrayed.

Some cars (European) more than others, but I agree. As long as you know ahead of time of what maintainance needs be done to it, you'll be fine.

IT's more about how you drive rather what you drive. You can much have fun in small/old/cheap car.
Everything is pretty inexpensive, but once you start adding it all up its not. LOL
Alem Cehajic It really isn't!
Sometimes being a car enthusiast is a pain in the ass... 🤔
You must not own a popular car! lol I have an Evo X. There's nothing made for this car that isn't above 100$... (exaggeration but still, very nearly 100% accurate).
whats inexpensive to one person can be small fortune for others.
Evo, STI, Supra, GTR, S2K, M3, ect ect ect the list goes on. Buy one of these cars your bill for parts is above the roof. You will be homeless before you know it lol
Agree yeah lol

My problem is, I"m into all of it. I lean towards tinkering, not too into detailing, or super cars, but I like foreign and domestic, drifting, grip, I'm leaning towards rally right now. I like the thought of a major build, but I also enjoy a lightweight low hp car on the back roads.

Thank you.

whenever I just step on it in my golf and hear that motor rev, it puts a big grin on my face no matter how stock it is.
I love that comment. “you don’t have to own a car to be a car enthusiast.”
I remember being flat out broke and just having enough money to afford driving lessons whilst I studied.
Just the way you talk, like fluency wise I could listen to you narrate all day 😁 keep up the good work.
Anyway, awesome video guys, love the editing and topics!

Bmw and budget in the same sentence 🤔
Alex SAAB The prices are different for everybody. in Germany you can get a e36 for as cheap as 2500$ but old and used Mustangs that are fairly cheap in America cost a small fortune here.
Alex SAAB it's based on which one you get.
I meant more about upkeep and repairs but, I'm sure that also varies country to country. In the US they're expensive to fix
Bmw M3 is one of my favorite cars, I would not complain lol.
If you ask why: NFS Most Wanted
Niiiiiice
This channel has changed me a solid a human every video you guys make either makes me smile laugh or cry keep up the good work.
Lol 240sx for cheap here is kinda joke. I can get a 328is for equal price of a 240sx in equal condition.
Kind of moot, they're completely different cars.
I can get an E36 M3 for cheaper than a 200SX...
Mario what? That's a ripoff unless they have almost no miles. Highest I've seen a non-modified e36 m3 go is for 7k.
WHO DISLIKED THIS? COME HERE AND I WILL TEACH YOU A LESSON ABOUT RESPECTING WELL MADE THINGS!
Nipples of the North love this guy
Nipples of the North touch their nipples.
Nipples of the North i disliked it
William james Now i disliked your comment too
I did certainly not dislike ur profile pic then
My car is a v6 mustang and no its not the 3.7 it’s the 4.0 the slow one but Every time I fire it up huge big stupid smiles on my face every time I rev match every time I down shift I just feel in love more I don’t care about going 0-60 in 4 sec all i care a bout is the fun u get driving ur baby ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The cinematics of these videos is what keeps me coming back for more every time. I love the tone this channel sets
"As long as it puts a smile on your face..." AWWWWW!
The 240 as an entry didn’t age well
I’ll be starting with a Miata
i am propably gonna start with miata too if i find good one
They are very fun cars. Highly recommend. But they are becoming more expensive.
@@joshkim4438 yeah, atleast where i live here isnt alot of miatas sadly.
the jafuu ahhh damn that suck. You could try a bmw z3. I see those going for less then a Miata.
I will probably go with the 350z but also i love the miata so cant choose
tl;dr Yes, buy a manual miata and drive it hard on weekend nights ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Roses are red
I wish to be a car guy having 2000s jdm cars tuning them and stuff
But I live in germany
TÜV
TUV is that bad? If you achieve the CO2 emmisions you can't get away with that? I am not talking about crazy mods.
Would suck to be an enthusiast in Germany, too many rules
TÜV :D es enrvt soo hart! für jedes kleine teil brauchst ne ABE. Meine Celica ist zwar Clean und alles legal aber es ist so teuer und umständlich ! Germany TÜV is the biggest crap on the earth. German Culture thins a lot different..... to sad! You need for every little part you change on your car a new registration what costs much... when the parts dont match to your car, police will stop you and you car is gone.
Sportluftfilter, Softwareoptimierung etc.
"You dont need a car to be a car enthusiast"
Cheap 240sx. Where?
have you seen the 200sx scene?
Very inspirational thank you it will change my perspective on wanting a expensive car. my 3g eclipse might not be someone elses favourite car but the time and money i have spent on it has sure put a smile on my face and never makes me say i need a new car. my money is well spent from working a minimum wayage job while in high school.
THiNk aBouT DieSeL cArS...)
Yep, i live in Sweden, but i hate it.
Yes, we car-guys are computer-enthusiast who thought it was to cheap.
Well.... NOT IN SWEDEN
TAXES ON ELECTRONICS IN SWEDEN TOO BUUUECHHHH!!
Oh, a GPU in America: 300$
Same GPU in Sweden: 500$
Hate it.
Skatterna och försäkrings kostnaderna osv gör att man inte kan köpa nån rolig bil här i Sverige sån jag håller med
Sebastian Von Kebab Car that is old and driftable? Don't you have old volvos like around every corner? 740 or 940 makes perfect budget drift car :D
"A 240 is close to impossible to find"
That's because everyone is keeping theirs.
Ikr I used to study in Germany, where being a student car enthusiast is close to impossible.. I hate these welfare state policies in Western Europe
Dude.. Awesome video.. Excellent shots aswell. What are you using to film?
Anyone is not old enough to get a car and still watches this?
I love your videos, they're soo good in making people understand(my wife) why i have sooo much love for the car community and cars themselves! Thanks Man!! I appreciate you!!
Can you be into cars on a budget? Yes you can but that's how ricers are born.
Everyone starts somewhere buddy
Hakon zeichnet those are hard to find so good luck
@Hakon zeichnet buy a car and ask your parents tell them why and how it will be in your freetime thing & youll learn everything like that
I honestly don't think that most ricers are as bad as the extreme examples people like to post on the internet.
Hakon zeichnet yo man good for you. I’m going to highschool for auto mechanics and getting a 2008-2011 Lancer as my first car (Manual of course) and gonna supercharge it with a friend. Everyone starts somewhere, but I’d say plan out your build. I have a list on my phone ab what I wanna do. Most importantly don’t let other peoples hate and opinions bring you down. If you like what you wanna do to it do it. It’s your car, it’s your dream. I hope it goes well man.
