    I bought this lens in the Spring and I am very happy with my purchase. It’s a specialty lens but wasn’t expensive so I don’t mind that it doesn’t ‘live on my camera’.
    Interestingly Laowa have just (this week) released a 10mm f2.0 (sibling) lens which is manual focus but no aperture ring; the aperture is controlled by the camera via the usual electronic contacts!

      It's definitely a nice one to have in your bag for sure!
      I saw that other one get announced the other day. Really interested to try it out myself. Touted as another low distortion lens, I'll have to do a review on that as well

    Hi, I have started using the BMPCC 4k and using ttartisan 17mm and 50mm lens. The problem I face is that the pictures are not crisp. Will this laowa 7.5 give a better, sharper image than those cheap artisans lens. Kindly suggest one lens for my BMPCC 4k that as a beginner I must have and which give a quite goods image. Thanks

    Tired it for a minute on the OG pocket. It has less distortion than the 14mm pancake.
    I think about getting it for stills, but waiting to find it at a great price.

    • @FrameVoyager
      @FrameVoyager  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Interesting! Yeah, it's crazy how low the distortion is on the laowa lenses in general

  • @RyanLogan01
    @RyanLogan01 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Have you used the Laowa 9mm f/2.8 zero-D? I wonder how this compares to that. Similar in price, makes it a tough choice 😬

    Would You choose the 7.5mm over the 9mm?

    • @FrameVoyager
      @FrameVoyager  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      To be honest, have yet to try out the 9mm, but for me and all the travel I do, I like having the 7.5mm for wide shots of landscapes especially for timelapses. So I'd probably still go with the 7.5mm but just depends what you want it for.
