I wish someone could find a performance from that time. Frankie had an unbelievable voice. In person, you had to hear him and just be struck by the power, and range. No Impersonator can match that voice. That's the one flaw of the Jersey Boys Show, that they talk about this great voice, but no one can truly perform it. He was unreal!
stumbled upon this whilst listening to there songs, went to see the jersey boys, i think i may have a slight crush on Frankie, think i need to get a life lol!!
Damn!!!! These guys were and are awesome talented artists. They are one of the most successful bands of American origin to have a number one hit before, during and after the Beatles. I don’t know of any other band to have accomplished that.
One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone continues interrupting a guest or another person talking. I would not be as patient as Frankie was here with this guy interviewing him.
I don’t know if he already received and honored , This is Your Life Award. He deserved it and he should . My first time to watch this interview Thanks (1/11/‘23)
How can this sloppy, unprepared, nobody of an interviewer be so clueless as to his importance while talking with such great, humble, accomplished musicians?
Have been watching some interviews with members of the Four Seasons over the years here on TH-cam. Gotta say some of these interviewers are horrible and should not be holding a microphone. No research, stupid questions etc. It's gotta be tough dealing with incompetents like this guy and they deserve much better. Also, he drops his cigarette on the tablecloth instead of the ashtray when he introduces Bob Gaudio. Later, it's gone and a piece of paper is covering the spot where the cigarette previously was. Was probably burning a hole in the tablecloth and he covered it up.... Too funny.
A horrible interviewer, talking all over him, getting info wrong, dam research before you interview somebody. He was like a bad furniture sales man lol
I’ve always wondered what he sounded like when he talked since he could sing amazing high notes and I was flabbergasted and was not expecting what his actual normal voice sounds like. I guys I thought it was going to be some 13 yo teen guy just hitting puberty. Lol
you can tell Frankie has a lot of tolerance, because he kept interrupting him constantly and Frankie still had a good attitude
I'd marry a guy like Frankie in a heartbeat
@@pattyasmus1877 no I would
That's a jew the interviewer
I'd take Frankie for my man in a Heartbeat
@@robwood8331
That was my first thought.
This guy has been beyond humble his entire career. This guy is a serious fucking legend and deserves every accolade afforded him.
You said it!!!! And how right you are.
I'M GONNA LOVE FRANKIE VALLI FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. HE'S STILL SINGS SO WONDERFULLY AWESOME,AND STILL LOOKS SO GOOD TOO FOR HIS AGE.
Right, he's incredible!
Was banging Gaga at 80, yeah he is the man

@@robsoldstuff1670 He lip syncs now....has done for at least 20yrs....
That interviewer wouldn't let him talk. Lol, poor Frankie.
The Wonderful World Of Ashley yeah Lol
The interviewer was a bit unprepared for the interview.
Frankie’s face when he paused and said “number... one” was kind of terrifying lol
1:53 LOL
Frankie is so cute 😍😘😚
As cute as a video game character
He’s got such a deep voice but he’s such a high singer. Legend!!

He kinda looks a bit like Pat Riley too
I don’t know if he already received and honored , This is Your Life Award. He deserved it and he should . My first time to watch this interview Thanks (1/11/‘23)
The interviewer has a man crush on Bob Gaudio.
That’s gay
@@lexiev1250 perceptive
No he doesn't!!!!!!!
Valli looked older in the 60s than he did in subsequent decades.
Haha that interviewer keeps scratching his neck every time he screws it up
2:34 MC: “Here comes the sex symbol of the group, Bobby…” Frankie: “No, I’m the sex symbol of the group.”
BOB GAUDIO-HANDSOME AS HELL!
The Four Seasons "the sex symbol of the group!"
Still looks pretty good now.
Can't Take My Eyes off of You was No. 2 on the pop charts.
It was number two on billboard but number one in cash box and record world. 2 out of 3 isn’t bad so it should be considered a number one hit.
Is this recorded in the Bitter End club in Greenwich Village New York .
Yes it is
Wow. This was a long time ago. Probably early to mid 60s.
How can this sloppy, unprepared, nobody of an interviewer be so clueless as to his importance while talking with such great, humble, accomplished musicians?
Anyone have a date on this? It looks to me like it could be from about 1969 to 71
Frankie looks so sinister at 1:54

He is my height. 5'4" how did he smoke and maintain that high voice?
interviewers need to listen
Frankie reminds me of Al Pacino. I wonder if they are both Sicilian. They look very Sicilian.
Give the interviewer a break. This interview was years before Jersey Boys. L.O.L.

Yes
@@ianmangham4570 It’s Fred Weintraub
This interviewer is rude for interrupting!
Gaudio is the sex symbol of the group. Um, k. LOL I think FV has that role. They look like they're sitting on doll chairs. Bwah.
Frankie is strong and represent jersey talent. Jersey still has upcoming taken
well that was awkward, even to watch lol cant imagine being there
Is that Yoko in the background?
Yes
Let me find the interviewer so I can 🤜👊🏽
That interviewer should have been FIRED on the spot!!! Do your homework guy!!! PLEASE???
Why?....That voice and Those songs, Talent will out.
So obvious right. The Schmoe interviewing him wouldn’t understand if he was held down and it was poured down is stupid neck. 😆😆😆
... the interviewr should do his fu... homework !!!! The Four Seasons were legit 'hit makers'
Frankie jr. Looks so much like his father
I always kinda thought frankie Jr. Would take up singing like his dad with the falsetto.
The interview was amateur ; he was ill prepared and interrupted Frankie and clearly was the wrong person for the job he was put into doing
Rusty 😊
Holy shit let Frank tak
0:26 1:53 his creepy smile
