We were there last night to see Frankie Valli in his last New York city concert. It was a privilege to relive our youth together in the 60's, and to listen to Frankie sing a full compliment of 27 songs from his outstanding career with the Four Seasons, and as a solo artist. Who, at the age of almost 90, could perform as well as Frankie Valli did last night? The answer is simple: No one. Thank you . Frankie Valli for making our night last night. The respect that your audience of 6000+ at the sold out Radio City Music Hall demonstrated to you , shows you just what you mean to all of us.
I met Frankie Valley back in the late 70's. He was performing at what was called the Civic Center in Providence, RI. My brother was working there and we got in before the show. My brother brought me to the stage where they were practicing and introduce my Wife and I to him. He spoke to us and gave my Wife his Autograph and asked if she wanted the rest of the groups Autograph and everyone in the group signed her book. What a great guy. One other time he was being interviewed by WPRO radio in Providence. I knew what door they would exit. I drove up to the limo and he rolled down his window said hello and gave my wife his autograph again.
I was in the audience and loved this show. Always a big fan of the 4 Seasons from the beginning. Saw them in the early 70's in Greensboro, N.C. However Frankie was able to get through this program, the songs were great. The guys backing him and the band couldn’t have been better. We in the audience were singing the songs along with Frankie and the guys. I would go again if I could. We are all going to age. I have tremendous respect for Frankie and all his accomplishments and the back to back top hits.
Thank you for uploading this awesome concert. I'm from New Jersey and Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons are my all-time favorite musical group. It's so wonderful that Frankie continues to perform these concerts and share this wonderful music with his fans. Always a fan. He is a living legend and a musical icon. I hope we have him around for many more years. Finally, any lip sync trolls who reply to me, their comments will be deleted. Frankie deserves respect and love and that's what his real fans give him while the negative trolls try to tear him down. Attacking a 90-year-old music legend is disgusting, classless, and tasteless. I honestly think it's disrespectful to audiences no matter how old he is. Tony Bennett, Dionne Warwick, Johnny Mathis, etc., performed well into old age and actually real singing
@shaneaguilera2041 I agree. I saw Tony Bennett when he was 90 years old. He certainly didn't have the effortlessly powerful voice of his younger days, but he was really singing.
For everyone saying how sad this is that it is lip synched. Yes it absolutely is and he has done this a while. But, remember this man is now 90 years old. And the fact he can stand and move a little is amazing. Be,grateful he is still with us and performs.
Highly produced, good back up band and singers - but, it is obvious Frankie's entire vocals are backtracked. He might be actually 'singing' into the mic.. but his weak, faltering voice is turned way down on the sound board. He at times appears a bit 'vacant' as well. I understand that he is 90 years old, but if you can't do the job, take your money and enjoy your life in a tropical island.
@@angelosantos1594 Please don't respond to the lip sync trolls. Ignore them. They are neither worth your time or mine.
So sorry a d yo see him lip sing
I saw him live 30 years ago and was going to see him in August, but paying $150/ticket for lip syncing? 🙁
God Bless the man and all the music he’s given us. He’s 89, so I’m not hating. But to me, he’s clearly lip-syncing. Surprised no one else noticed. Maybe I’m wrong……
I thought the same thing. No matter, he's a legend!
Be,grateful he is still with us and performs.
ohhhh PLAY BACK
He gettin kinda stiff for 90 years old
Dead man singing. its awful, looks like a zombie
He's very fit and looks much younger than his age
@@markdaniello5800 he move slow
@@GlennAustin829 For his age still doing better than most his age
@@markdaniello5800 I think he is talking about Frankie not one of the backup singers🤣😂
Mummified, doesn't sing a note, and hasn't in a long time.
His lips don’t move, his eyes don’t blink in a fixed gaze. It’s Brian Wilson all over again.
Layoff the disrespect comments
It's weird looking at him.
Highly produced, good back up band and singers - but, it is obvious Frankie's entire vocals are backtracked. He might be actually 'singing' into the mic.. but his weak, faltering voice is turned way down on the sound board. He at times appears a bit 'vacant' as well. Nice show to go relive your youth, though.
The band sounds different . Seems it lost its 4 seasons sound. Too much electric guitar, sax and drumbeat is awful
I would demand my money back for this fake show.
Elder abuse
It’s terrible he lip syncs the entire show. He was amazing ONCE but when you’re bilking the crowd like this it’s nothing but a damn cash grab
You don't have to go if that's how you feel, the choice is yours apparently 6000 people chose to go and enjoy all his hits .
Frankie now looks like Achmed the Dead Terrorist, but I give him credit for getting out there for shows at his age, despite the lipsyncing. Robby Robinson is still going strong.
Lots of money to watch a stiff recorinh.
Prove to me hes lipping it
Ya all are some jealous people when your 82 you'll be lying in a nursing home with the tv blaring loud and you still wont hear it !
I agree. These lip syncing trolls pollute every Frankie Valli concert video's comments section. Disgusting. The worst of the lip-syncing trolls PeterCamberWick decided to respond to me with the usual anti-Frankie Valli lies below. Please ignore him.since he intends to contribute to the dishonest pollution that makes this comments section so horrible
The evidence that he’s been lip syncing for at least a good part of the past 20 years is overwhelming. I had FRONT ROW SEATS for one of his shows last year, and I have NO DOUBT this is true. Having said all that, i’m still impressed that he’s even up there at his age, but he should come clean about it. It’s dishonest.
Prove he is lip syncing? Are you crazy it is so obvious it's disgusting and if you really think he is singing you belong in the nursing home with him and need to be checked out.
@@stephenhanft1226 Trolls? You sound rediculous at this point. Check out the videos where multiple concerts are layed out side by side but the vocal remains exactly the same. To keep denying it like this and calling people trolls is just sad.
@@PeterCamberwick What's sad and ridiculous is that people like you pollute comments sections with lies and troll others.
lip sycncing ay its best
It sure seems as if he's lip synching those songs. His lips don't match up a lot of the times. Plus look at 8:52 and he's lost his place and isn't even trying to fake it.
I can't believe people are still so clueless thinking he is really singing... its so cringey and feel bad fo the guy. ... then you have the backup singers and the cringey dancing ugh.
Looks like lip-sync. It is sad to see Frankie like this.
Lip sync for sure!
I love their music but Jesus he looks like a bloody ghost!
Biden for sure
Yikes! Hang it up Frankie... reminds me of Abe Lincoln at Disney!
Lip singing
Can anyone honesty regardless of age look at the late 60s thru to the mid 80s and then look at today and see how society has spiralled into the
Muck and mire of apoplexy
This is horrorous.
