My grandpa is 85 years old and in his youth days he was energetic, looking to repair things from the house. Nowadays he looks to repair things from his house, takes the ladder to go up for the roof even he fell one time he decides to keep doing it. There are elders who really want to keep moving. It's impressive how Valli is standing there for a long time.

My husband and I were at this concert and we had the same thoughts about him lip syncing. He could hardly talk, lift the mic or move his arms to the beat of the music. I grew up listening to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and if I am to be honest I was saddened by what I saw. I understand that Mr Valli probably loves performing and finds it difficult to stop but I think it's time to call it a day. Unfortunately the last memory I have of that incredibly talented man is not a good one. I thank you for sharing your talents with us through the 60's and 70's but I think at 90 it's time to call it a day and enjoy what you have worked so hard for ❤

Initially, I was disappointed that I wasn't able to see Frankie at Radio City back in March. But, after seeing this performance, I don't feel as bad. Still, it would've been nice just to see the originator of those great songs, live on stage. Getting old really SUCKS!
I have no clue how old you are, but if you are in your 50's or really any age, start taking care of yourself, and seriously start changing your diet , why, because Process foods , soda , just about anything , will make a person sick and cause you to have a lot of health issues . Everything I just said , is No Joke. I have noticed people getting sick at any age . As an "RN" and this is what all I have noticed in the last 4 years . I changed my diet 16 years ago , I no longer eat any Process foods, don't drink soda , etccccc.

It will be 28 years ago on the 25th that my father passed at 67 and currently one of my three older brothers (he's her P.O.A.) and I are in our seventh year of caring for our 92 year old mother with lewy body dementia…… though I saw signs three years before. I'm not sure how much more I can take of it. She's oblivious to her surroundings and is completely immobile. And now my health has been impacted like it's never been before. And my two oldest brothers, her "favorites", NEVER visit to help or relieve us. One lives LESS than two miles away and does absolutely NOTHING. I refuse to speak to him. And the thirteen caregivers that we went through prior to the pandemic were complete incompetents. So, when I wrote "Getting old really SUCKS!"…… I know from first hand experience. I've always remembered the bit of wisdom that my almost 99 year old grandmother would tell me before she died in 2001: "Don't get old".

I'm at a loss here. I met and drank beers with Frankie Ford (Sea Cruise) back around 2006 or so here in his home town. It was close to the end of his singing career but, damn it, he was doing it and not half bad. It was the memories he brought back. Ford passed in Sept 2015 at age 76.

This is just disturbing to watch. To suggest he is lip-syncing is generous - his lack of any motion, including his mouth, when he is "singing" is jarring. This tour should be called "Weekend At Bernie's - The Musical". The discussions of his band and back up singers behind the scenes would be interesting to hear. Bless him for the longevity but this is wrong on so many levels.

I'm happy to see his four backup singers sitting through a good portion of this concert. When we saw him a couple years ago, they were seemingly constantly out front and so upstagingly over-choreographed that they made him look even more frail than ever. Lip sync or not, you GO, Frankie! ❤

He is very much lip syncing and using autotune these days unfortunately which he's been doing since around 2004 or 2005 from what i can find on here. But it's became more so obvious since post covid times like there's quite a few concert clips where he'll forget to turn off the mic feedback to play the older backing vocal track or he'll slip up like there's two versions of December 63 that i know of where he slips up and Robby his music director quickly has to reach for his pc to put on the backing track again. I know there'll be people saying that he's singing and that I'm jealous like haha which okay but i know he's 100% lip syncing from my own musical ear as I've worked in soundboard for live shows and sang in a band. Plus I've studied music production & once you study music production you'll start to hear and notice different things the average music listener won't for example like i can hear the use of autotune during any song where Frankie has to use falsetto which isn't a problem anymore these days in 2024 as musicians will use it when they'll dance at a very fast pace or can't hit higher notes as easy as let's say in a studio setting. Also the lip syncing these days is obvious on songs where Frankie needs to open his mouth more to hit a massive high note like on my eyes adored you for example which has a dramatic ending with a strong powerful high note but watching this particular concert his mouth rarely opens enough to even try hit those higher notes to even have enough clearness to them.
He's doing this live. These notes come from his throat not his mouth. It's a falsetto rasp and when you do it right you need to distance the mic or it clips. Sure he is older so it doesn't cut through the mix like it did before. But do check his old stuff and then you can hear it clearly. I love Lou Christie. However, Frankie's voice is almost as good as it was 50 years ago. I do think his back up singers help a little but Frankie's still has it. For all his fame he's also had it rough as did Dean Martin. Each lost a child, Frankie lost 2....adopted daughter and his son. Married several times too but in his business that's not uncommon...sad though it is. This should have been professionally done in regards to filming the show. For posterity sake. Frankie Valli -a legend-I get it. But he needs to call it a day. The only thing great about his performance is the terrific band he has put together and the backup “Four Seasons.” Frankie doesn’t get his microphone up in time to lip sync, and when he does the words are often wrong. He occasionally sings and that’s it . I saw Frankie in 1977, 2017 and 2021. Those are great memories to treasure always.

It will be 28 years ago on the 25th that my father passed at 67 and currently one of my three older brothers (he's her P.O.A.) and I are in our seventh year of caring for our 92 year old mother with lewy body dementia…… though I saw signs three years before.
I'm not sure how much more I can take of it. She's oblivious to her surroundings and is completely immobile. And now my health has been impacted like it's never been before.
And my two oldest brothers, her "favorites", NEVER visit to help or relieve us. One lives LESS than two miles away and does absolutely NOTHING. I refuse to speak to him.
And the thirteen caregivers that we went through prior to the pandemic were complete incompetents.
So, when I wrote "Getting old really SUCKS!"…… I know from first hand experience.
I've always remembered the bit of wisdom that my almost 99 year old grandmother would tell me before she died in 2001: "Don't get old".

I met and drank beers with Frankie Ford (Sea Cruise) back around 2006 or so here in his home town. It was close to the end of his singing career but, damn it, he was doing it and not half bad. It was the memories he brought back. Ford passed in Sept 2015 at age 76.

This is just disturbing to watch. To suggest he is lip-syncing is generous - his lack of any motion, including his mouth, when he is "singing" is jarring. This tour should be called "Weekend At Bernie's - The Musical". The discussions of his band and back up singers behind the scenes would be interesting to hear. Bless him for the longevity but this is wrong on so many levels.
To all the haters in here, this 90 year old legend has just given a one and a half hour preformance and lit up people's lives all over the world. Think about it.

I'm happy to see his four backup singers sitting through a good portion of this concert. When we saw him a couple years ago, they were seemingly constantly out front and so upstagingly over-choreographed that they made him look even more frail than ever. Lip sync or not, you GO, Frankie! ❤

He is very much lip syncing and using autotune these days unfortunately which he's been doing since around 2004 or 2005 from what i can find on here.
But it's became more so obvious since post covid times like there's quite a few concert clips where he'll forget to turn off the mic feedback to play the older backing vocal track or he'll slip up like there's two versions of December 63 that i know of where he slips up and Robby his music director quickly has to reach for his pc to put on the backing track again.
I know there'll be people saying that he's singing and that I'm jealous like haha which okay but i know he's 100% lip syncing from my own musical ear as I've worked in soundboard for live shows and sang in a band.
Plus I've studied music production & once you study music production you'll start to hear and notice different things the average music listener won't for example like i can hear the use of autotune during any song where Frankie has to use falsetto which isn't a problem anymore these days in 2024 as musicians will use it when they'll dance at a very fast pace or can't hit higher notes as easy as let's say in a studio setting.
Also the lip syncing these days is obvious on songs where Frankie needs to open his mouth more to hit a massive high note like on my eyes adored you for example which has a dramatic ending with a strong powerful high note but watching this particular concert his mouth rarely opens enough to even try hit those higher notes to even have enough clearness to them.
He's doing this live. These notes come from his throat not his mouth. It's a falsetto rasp and when you do it right you need to distance the mic or it clips. Sure he is older so it doesn't cut through the mix like it did before. But do check his old stuff and then you can hear it clearly. I love Lou Christie. However, Frankie's voice is almost as good as it was 50 years ago. I do think his back up singers help a little but Frankie's still has it. For all his fame he's also had it rough as did Dean Martin. Each lost a child, Frankie lost 2....adopted daughter and his son. Married several times too but in his business that's not uncommon...sad though it is. This should have been professionally done in regards to filming the show. For posterity sake. I loved him so long ago. I still love him. Thank you Frankie for all the joy you brought into my life and, in fact, to the world. Much love. D

It's time to let it be.
Frankie Valli -a legend-I get it. But he needs to call it a day. The only thing great about his performance is the terrific band he has put together and the backup “Four Seasons.” Frankie doesn’t get his microphone up in time to lip sync, and when he does the words are often wrong. He occasionally sings and that’s it . I saw Frankie in 1977, 2017 and 2021. Those are great memories to treasure always.
