If your running the 180 Thermostat then you also need to change the reservoir cap because thats all related. maybe they already did that for you because when I ran the 180 my car actually ran 2 degrees hotter until someone asked me "and you changed the reservoir cap too right?" thats a pressure release valve spring set to relieve at such and such pressure determined in part with the original thermostat
Definitely worth it. It's more about the long range plan vs the here and now. Not sure what your long range plan is (I saw you got the Max effort NA cam) but as you continue to mod the car the more those mods are worth and work together. If you are not using the SRT filter you should be, especially now you've added some power. Good going with full synthetic (that's what I use); I think this saved me some issues and added some longevity. Labor is ALWAYS going to kill a budget.

I bought a 2010 Challenger RT last January. It had 61385 miles on it. Had a DiabloSport tune in it since March done by Johan at Diablotoona. 3 weeks ago, I heard the "HEMI tick". Took it to the speed shop. Dropped lifter on #6.😩 So, I went with a Texas Speed Stage 3 cam kit, lifters, pushrods, springs & MDS delete. Also had a 3400 stall torque converter installed & long tube headers with Flowmaster 40's. Then had the PCM & TCM tuned. It's a completely different car now. I paid double what you paid.😊
I paid 6.5k for my magnuson and it’s just a bolt on. I added 120 hp. Generally, you get 20hp per psi, conservatively. Best mod I’ve done to my car. Anyone can do it in their garage with simple tools.
Check it out fam, you ( like myself ) work hard so when we get something we should get what we want. As long as you're happy with it. That's all that matters.
We have pretty much the same setup and was it worth it to me… sound wise yes, power wise no. When I’m looking for power I’ll get the supercharger but for now the sound is nice but definitely cost me a pretty penny
It was definitely worth it for me because my total was about half of what you paid because i didn’t pay for labor. I was paying attention to your parts breakdown and some parts you paid more than I did but I assume that’s because the shop added their fees but the total price you paid for parts and tune wasn’t that bad! I also didn’t have to worry about getting my pcm unlocked since Dodge started that in 2015. You should ask them what grind your cam is. Have fun not only does your car sound better but IT IS faster now!
Car is a beast bro. Can’t wait to get mine cam as well. I already have the long tube headers. Did it myself but if i have to do it again I’m hiring someone tbh.
Life is short, you determine what worth =. I put Royal Purple in my Harley and everyday beater. Next oil change I will add it to my Challenger. I was going to add Pro Charger but I might just do the upgrade + Stroker kit + Hellion Kit + fuel system Then I will be where I want to be........at least for a while. I think you have a very nice build going, maybe you could have done a Stroker Kit instead of cam package.

I have a shop charging me 7K for all parts and labor do y’all think it’s worth it? That’s PCM unlock dyno tune long tube headers hellcat lifters and upgraded valve springs
