This is a great resource for every MBA/non-MBA candidate who is a little worried about the assessment test. Love how you humanize the content and reach out to the audience breaking the fourth wall.

hi... just finished the SOVA test... I would advise that first complete the Logic, Numeric & Verbal test then go to the personality section as it is not a time bounded section and consume a lot of time
That's a very good piece of advice, thank you! The personality test is so long that by the time you finish it, you will be tired already. The other tests you want to approach with a fresh mind though 👍
Got way more number of questions on Visual/Logical reasoning than any other section, only had 4 sections (Personality, Numerical, Verbal and Logical Reasoning). All went well in my self assessment, Visual went the worst of the 4. Fingers Crossed.

That essentially means that Bain (I assume you took Sova to get into Bain) continues using same four Sova modules, with maybe giving more attention to the logical reasoning module. Self-assessment can only give you part of the picture. Wait for the company-side assessment 🙂 Good luck!

@@NikSept14 The whole Sova test is an underwhelming experience, when you compare it with McKinsey's PSG or the BCG ONline Case. I wait for the day Bain replaces it with a state-of-the-art assessment. Furthermore, I doubt that Bain cares about the nitty-gritty details of the Sova test. It used to be 15 questions each in each sections; if Sova has readjusted the distribution of questions over the three questions a bit, so be it 😉
@@YOUinConsulting I did take the McKinsey simulation game in Sept 2022, did well in the Ecosystem, did badly in the Plant Defense (Made the mistake of allowing a junior to sit with me for his learning and he kept interrupting me throughout)
No, it does not. If the large arrow in the bottom-left tile you mention represented an average of the five small arrows, it should point at ~8.30 rather than 7.30, because there is one "up" arrow.

In the third tile, two arrows (up and down) cancel each other out; essentially three arrows remain. These three remaining arrows should lead to the large arrow being tilted towards the bottom-right. It should work just in the same way as in the 2nd tile of the example tiles.

Hi there, I agree with you. If you listen again to my voiceover, I also "criticize" Sova for calling this a sequence question. It actually resembles a pattern question. Needless to say, both question types are similar, as you have to identify the tile that fits.
For 6:54 , wouldn’t the bottom left be an answer ? Still confused because the up arrow cancels the down arrow and we are left with 3 arrows (1 down and 2 left). Why can that not be the answer? I’m in the middle of prepping for my test this Monday
Hi there, thanks for your question. If you compare the bottom left and bottom right (correct) tile, the small arrows structurally the same, but the two big ones have different slopes. The bottom left tile is incorrect, because the large arrow points into direction South-West, but it actually should point to direction South-West-West. Do you see it now?

I have taken the sova test and the I was invited for another online pre-screening test, how shouldI prepare for that test?
