Thanks, I had do to this for Amazon and your video helped massively, got really good feedback from the tests and I managed to get a face to face interview after passing the game stage.
That's fantastic! Thank you for sharing your experience, and I wish you good luck the next steps of the recruiting steps (it's looong at amazon...). Do you know if amazon uses the test now across the board (somebody else who applied to amazon recently said he also had to take the test), or is it used for certain positions? Also, how does amazon label (name) the test? If you do not like to answer in public, kindly contact me on LinkedIn, would be super interested to hear this 🙂
Gowling WLG uses this for their online assessment and I found this video very helpful in preparing for this assessment. The test is exactly as described. For anyone else taking the test I would say not to focus on getting the task right, but focus on showing a thought through process. I tried too hard to get the best results, and some of my test results came back saying I was too impulsive, and did not adapt to contexts. Thanks very much for this video 👍
Hi Katie, thanks for letting me know, I did not know Gowling WLG uses the Arctic Shores assessment, too. Your advice is useful. Interesting you got the feedback of "overly impulsive" 🤔

Thank you for the incredibly helpful video on the Arctic Shores assessment! It clarified so much for me and really boosted my confidence. Keep up the great work! I had game called "Balance". I tried to explain better here. Hope it will be helpful to everyone. In the game "Balance," initially there are four tubes: First Tube: Contains various shaped objects. Second Tube: Contains objects that are equivalent in value to the objects in the first tube. Third Tube: Contains different shaped objects. Fourth Tube: Our task is to determine the shapes that are equivalent to those in the third tube. For example: First Tube: 2 star shapes and 1 cube shape. Second Tube: 3 diamond shapes. This shows that 2 stars and 1 cube are equivalent to 3 diamonds. Now, consider the third and fourth tubes: Third Tube: 1 star shape and 2 cube shapes. Fourth Tube: You need to find the equivalent shapes. Based on the previous equivalence, you might determine that: 1 star shape is equivalent to 1.5 diamond shapes (half the value of 2 stars). 2 cube shapes are equivalent to 2 diamond shapes. So, 1 star shape and 2 cube shapes would be equivalent to 1.5 + 2 = 3.5 diamond shapes. As the game progresses, the number of tubes increases. I have encountered up to 8 tubes, where the challenge is to find the answer for the 8th tube.
