The amount of patience required to do something like this is beyond my compherension. Truly immaculate work.
I honestly had no idea you could just straight up not do some of the worlds. I've played Kingdom Hearts so many times and I didn't know that. I didn't know the trick to navigating Monstro either. That blew my mind. Honestly good work for completing this challenge. I caught a few streams on TikTok while on the toilet so I'm glad to see the final product here

I had no idea about the doors in monstro, I just spent so long getting lost in there that I memorized the entire layout
I'd see you streaming on tiktok and watch every now and then. It made me boot up and play KH again as well but I left the island at level 10! You're amazing with that kind of patience, I was certainly getting antsy just getting those levels!

Honestly best spot to grind on destiny islands for me was actually right before leaving when it’s night you can get a loop of about 45 hearts around the island then run into shack to respawn them.

I never knew that trick about the green doors in Monstro. I just followed the Green Requiems like Gepetto suggests. Weird they go as far as to double mark the correct path but that's neat I guess

Took me almost 20 years since I gave up on the second to last room, with the behemoth, and then Kh2 came out. Finally beat the game something like 18 years after getting it during covid for xbox

I don’t know what makes me feel worse the fact that I just learned that I could’ve skipped colosseum since I didn’t use thunder at all or the fact that people genuinely forgot that they didn’t defeat bosses so I’m not the only one

I remember thinking this challenge was an awesome idea. I figure I would start out at dusk if I’m going to be grinding out anyway, the last third of the levels would just be quicker and easier to handle. And when the heartless visit destiny island, I’d comb the island to destroy them meter and exit cabin and have them all reload again. Dunno if that’s wasting more time tho.

I didnt know the green and blue door thing. I probably won't remember it but thats cool.
Equipping your new keychains actually still would have been helpful because in KH1 keyblades have reach and the Deep Jungle key is one of the longer keyblades, also magic power is determined by the length of your magic bar so equipping a magic boosting keyblade would have meant that you healed more and stop would last longer etc. Not that it really matters at level 100 but the long reach definitely makes a couple of fights less annoying, particularly the Monstro cage heartless that knocks you away constantly which is why they made the Agrabah keyblade short so players would equip it thinking it was better than the Deep Jungle one but actually puts them at a disadvantage for that fight.
Now for kh2 at the station of serenity with roxas, where Dora takes all the credit for the exp
I'm on proud mode, no equipment, no continues RN and grinding exp is making my PPS shrivel. I'm stuck on maleficent in hollow bastion so I don't have any of the really good farms yet. I couldn't even imagine doing it in destiny Island. 🙃
at 6:20 when you kill the heartless, can you just grind by killing them over ? do they respawn?
As a kid, without the Final Mix version, I too thought this was a cool idea. You're better than Me, tho, because I did not have the patience. lLol!

As a kid I used to unlock guard ability and block those tenis balls for 1 exp per block until I was like lvl 20. I would fight riku a bunch of times as well XD. I always loved coming off the island strong as fuck and beating leon. Most people died to him and probably never even killed him

As child , i ignored concept of leveling and were too scared of Guardian Armor To fight it , so i spend 2 years playing in Traverse town. And when i beat Guardian Armor , i thought it was because i grew up
Then , i did same schemes for the next 10 years ( clayton, Ansem /Rikku , Balrog and final Ansem )

It's not that I hate Guard Armors Final Mix recolor. It's just that I hate how new players to the series don't get to see his or any of the other heartless' original colors.
Did you know you could farm xp on heartless? And go into shack and when you come back all heartless respawn on the island!

Bruh. im on my playthrough right now and i was stuck in monstro for the longest time trying to find the right doors to get to the cage part. i played it when i was a kid. and wanted to do a full playthrough but damn i got stuck on a lot of parts so far.

Did you watch any of the video before commenting? It's not hard to beat Kingdom Hearts with 100% in under 250 hours. He just stayed on the first world grinding before hand to challenge himself. trust me 250 hours is good for this way. I've done it but it's such a waste of time lol

Did he just call the Lord of the Rings movies boring?! One of if not the greatest movie trilogies of all time?! I take it you never beat Leon before this? He's not that difficult to beat at a normal level if you're patient and wait for the right moment to attack and don't overcommit. I personally hate the remix colors for the heartless that they changed colors for! They don't fit the dark nature of the heartless like the original colors. I don't understand what they were thinking giving heartless these bright colors that look like something out of a children's game.
Oh no! The worst world design in the Kingdom Hearts franchise is Atlantica hands down because of the awful water controls!
Oh yeah! I do that with fire every now and then when I have a bunch of mp. Haha! I'm glad to see others that do the same. Halloween Town is my favorite town in the first game as well! Nice!

bro could have had super strong magic because magic strength is relative to the amount of mp you have, if you have max mp in this case is 16 regular fire does way more damage, magic is broken in this game no matter what level you are, all that matters is how much mp you have aside from most boss fights but magic is great for grinding items and will make getting ultima a walk in the park

I always grinded against Wakka coz I was better at hitting his ball than I was fighting Tidus.

What if you leveled up Donald and Goofy up to lvl 100 as soon as possible
Donald and Goofy start more or less on the same level as you the moment they join the party (Goofy having slightly more exp), so they probably already are lvl 100 the moment they join.
Sage mode kh2 sora ai thumbnail. Or sleep deprived kh2 sora
