The amount of times I heard Sora yell "There's no way you're taking Kari's heart!"
I lost to Hollow Bastion Riku WAY too many times as a kid 😂
You know its funny me and my friend played Kingdom Hearts 1 at the same time on the same difficulty, normal, when the 1.5, 2.5 remix released on xbox. I beat ansem Riku in 1 try but my friend lost to him multiple times and when he asked about how I won he acted as if the ai was broken or I got lucky. At the time I just assumed ansem riku was meant to be a breath of fresh air after dragon maleficent. In that playthrough I was never able to beat the game, but about a year later I restarted the playthrough and did 3 runs for the difficulty related achievements. 1 on normal for 100% completion where I went for the no continue and speedrun achievement, 1 on proud for the proud player achievement, and 1 on easy for the unarmored achievement. Every playthrough I still beat ansem riku in 1 try even on proud but meanwhile in every playthrough except easy, I died at least once to dragon maleficent. I dont know if I just got lucky or if I have figured something out other players havent but I never found ansem riku to be difficult.
kh playthrough on your channel? :0 lol one can only hope 🥺
I feel your pain.
@@zachorryy not the same game, but in dark souls i beat O&S first try buy gwyn took me fuckin hours so i feel ya lol
I feel that Ansem Riku should have legit got that number 1 fight. Got SO tired of that cutscene. Then again, I don't think I've had less trouble with him on replays since my first playthrough when I was 12, so maybe it's that initial frustration talking, lol
Still waiting for that Gilgamesh fight. I mean, he travels through worlds for special weapon. Kingdom Hearts is made for him!
never going to happen ever, Disney doesn't really want any square-enix owned characters in kingdom hearts anymore, and no, the original characters made specifically for kingdom hearts are 100% owned by Disney
I believe Gilgamesh could still show up as a special guest. That was my favorite rumor when BBS came out😂
@LevelZeroSage1 he won't, Disney won't allow it, there's no reason for square-enix owned characters to be in kingdom hearts anymore
Gilgamesh, Shinryu, and Gabranth fights would be amazing in KH, but alas the chances of that are next to 0. However, it blows my mind and saddens me that we are more likely to get a fight against Darth Vader and or Doctor Doom, than Final Fantasy characters. What a shame.
@@terrysyvertson9205That's literally not true. The only reason they've died down is because they haven't been necessary in the most recent installments.
It’s funny how as an adult I can easily beat Riku Ansem, but as a kid I lost so many times I memorized the unskippable cutscene before the fight 😂
I beat that one first try. What I personally struggled with was the first riku fight
My younger sibling played through KH1FM about two years ago, and I forced them to watch the whole cutscene each time they had to start over. :P
I have an older sibling who did a lot of stuff like that and I hate them now(for more than just that but it contributed for sure) don’t stand in their way on shit, you may think it’s gonna develop some sense of character or skill or humbleness or something idk, but it doesn’t, it’s just annoying. Don’t be a dick man
Damn the boss battle with thanos?! Who can forget. Jokes aside I’d love an actual thanos boss fight in kh4 lol
I saw an idea someone had that you have Thanos show up when Sora’s in the dead realm, and when Thanos snaps Sora he comes back to the land of the living.
I would love a Thanos battle. It would be cool if it was Thanos with all the Stones and his armor and sword because he was never fought with all of that. I say his armor and sword because that would represent him really fighting at his peak because him not having those in Infinity War was meant to represent him being overconfident. He was also never fought with all of the stones. Thor defeated Thanos really quickly.
I always imagined that if Endgame was a Kingdom Hearts game, an alternate universe Thanos with all of those would be a secret boss lol.
Imagine if he was like a hidden super boss within the marvel world. Say he has like 10 health bars and after hours of fighting, you finally beat him.
All of a sudden, he uses the time stone and gets all health back. That’d be the start to phase 2 lol
I'm very surprised you didn't bring up that Yozora has a move that can straight up steal your keyblade, leaving you basically defenseless.
Wait hold up wtf 😂🤣
@@tayshonedwards8909 Yep, thats true, but don't worry Its only temporaly
@@valurg3028 good 😂 had me f worried 😂🤣
Yozora “Sorry but I don’t lose
sora I CAN SEE THAT YOU KEEP STEALING MY FUCKING KEYBLADE ANd YOUR COUNTLESS MOVES
The thing that really cements Yozora as top for me is his openings. Compare him to LW for a second. LW can kill you just about as easily as Yozora. But he pauses after each attack, allowing you to get a combo or 2 in. Yozora doesn't do that. You don't passively get openings, instead you really have to interrupt his attacks and find the openings while he's doing something. It requires a level of active player participation that I don't think I've seem in another KH boss.
THIS. I spent so many of my first like 80 attempts wondering if Yozora had any openings at all. You really have to actively CREATE them by knowing how/when to stop his aggression with your own to get consistent damage. A fight that truly leverages all of the power that KH3 Sora has to offer.
THIS. Nowadays too many gaming companies are obsessed with making cinematic bosses that basically tell you when you need to dodge using giant training wheel animations and hand you openings to attack rather than making us actively earn them ourselves. Yozora is great because he doesn't do that.
Totally agree, it's part of what makes him my favourite boss fight in the series.
Replica Riku definitely was a challenge. I do believe I managed due to learning Lethal Frame and oh man is that attack overpowered
To me is sonic blade overpowered
I accidentally discovered magic is stupidly broken and broke the game my first run.
Doing things like lethal frame, sonic blade etc takes skill and planning.
But slap all fires in a deck and spam firaga and a all blizzard deck for axel and the game basically just becomes spam central.
Lethal Frame, Ars Arcanum, and Ragnarok carried me the entire back half of my last playthrough of Re:CoM. They're just too strong.
For some reason, the main story boss that I struggled the most in the entire series was Terranort in the epilogue of Birth by Sleep where you have to beat him with Aqua. Then a lot of bosses in COM and yes, the Phantom too. Riku-Ansem in KH1 was tough. As for super bosses, I think Sephiroth in KH1, while there might be others objectively harder, back then playing for the first time I was just less used to it.
My toughest boss fight so far is the Dustflier from 358/2 Days. So much defense on top of an insane amount of HP, and he can pretty much one shot you if you get too close. Took me forever just to beat him with a hit-and-run strategy.
I never knew that optional pirate ship boss was optional 😂
1: Yozora. Not much to say that hasn’t been said before. With a variety of moves that don’t have a set order, speed, being able to steal items including the keyblade and no way of cheesing, he is the most difficult boss. I got the risk taker trophy from fighting the data org and Dark Inferno on Critical Mode with all Pro Codes and maxed stat boosts, but I dare not even try HIM on that level.
2: Data Dark Riku: His fast paced moves and slight unpredictability in his move set made him the hardest and most frustrating data fight. While he has more of a pattern that can be learned than Yozora, he is harder to read than any of the other data fights, making him a clear number two on my list.
3: Data Saïx KH3. While he has a clear moveset that can be learned, mastering how to dodge/block his attacks is harder due to a greater importance of positioning and the smaller windows of effective retaliation towards this absolute unit. Him being able to stun you with a few attacks adds to the importance of not getting hit even once.
These may all be KH3 Re:mind fights, but they are indeed as hard as Nomura intended: soul crushing. Honorable mention to Lingering Will and Phantom Aqua, those two are no cake walks.
you know a funny thing with my experience on data dark riku is that i fought him full aggression mode. normally i would try to read bosses and also tried it with him. with of course getting killed lots of times....and then i was just "F" it and went full aggression. wich made me beat him in 2 tries. But because of that it felt real good!
My honorable mention would be bbs Vanitas lingering version I couldn’t for the life of me get passed a single bar
No one ever mentions the Dustflier from 358/2 Days on these types of lists. That thing absolutely WRECKED me. I've never beaten it, and at this point, I don't even want to try anymore.
Shoot me ur cartridge I’ll beat it 4 u
I'm surprised you didn't add Julius from KH DDD onto this list because the frustration I've felt from getting bodied by Julius on the 3DS and trying so hard to avoid his attacks drived me nuts.
It might be because just how easy he was to cheese via balloon, but not using that strategy I completely agree. Julius is such a pain in the ass to fight
Balloon...
@@isaactheflaming12345 I bet it's both a pain in the 3DS and console.
@albertogomes167 it's a magic spell in DDD.
@@isaactheflaming12345 specifically ballonra
Been waiting for vids that included the kh3 data battles for ages! Nice one
I remember the greatest MF victory came not from me, but from my roommate. We loved playing multiplayer in the mirage arena and while i typically went with ventus he stuck with terra. He didnt know about the 2 secret bosses or aqua's epilogue so when i showed it to him of course he first went into it with terra. After hours of flailing he tried the thunder surge strat to no avail. For 3 days he bashed his head against the MF before finally being so pissed he unequipped all his commands and went in with nothing. Somehow, driven by pure rage, he beasted MF in this fight without taking a single hit. He then never played the game again out of sheer fury.
Man your roommate went with the "Too angry to die" strat respect
@@MirageCross it was awe inspiring to watch.
Your boy defeated MF by turning into the Lingering Will himself
I enjoyed your video, and I already knew some of these post post, but it was really him. Some of the material was really funny and I I was pushing everything.😂
I'm not entirely sure if counts as a boss fight, but the Dustflier in Days is so damn difficult, especially if you try fighting it the first time you go through Mission 89. It has a massive shockwave that inflicts a random effect, it's own version of Sephiroth's KH2 Meteor, and it's accompanied by Shadows that constantly spawn and will attack you if you're not moving away, not to mention the amount of times the lock on will move to one.
Oh don’t forget that even once you know what to do it is still a 30-40 minute fight with 0 room for error considering it one shots
Ah yes, Dustflier. That one super boss everyone forgot about.
I still haven't beaten it, I need to go back and do that
If we have to fight the union cross/missing link MC (It's canon that they're the same person) at some point in KH4, we are doomed, cause that character was insanely broken.
-After fight in the war managed to go toe to toe against four fortellers without rest.
-Humilliated Ephemer and Skuld at the same time in a 2 vs 1 battle without breaking a sweat.
-Fooled 4 darknesses and laughed at their face.
Not to mention that this character was the one who raised Xehanort so no wonder why h'es so op in every version he has, i hope player character returns because they were a total menace.
3:28 That sounded like a reference to Nico B’s Majora’s Mask LP.
7:09 Killed me as well. "I call SHENANIGANS!!!" I'm stealing that!😂
loved this vid skyward could you do the your favorite boss fights in the KH franchise id love to see that
I remember the time I first beat Sephiroth in kh1. I was so proud of myself.
There might be some confusion about the ships - there are 3 separate secret ship bosses that can be fought: Treasure Ship, Black Ship fleet, and Phantom Ship fleet.
- Treasure Ship is solo, and has gold sails and trim on the hull. Can be boarded to fight some Heartless after defeating the ship.
- Black Ship has all-black sails, with one leader and two small ships. If the leader is defeated first, then one of the small ships will upgrade itself into a new leader at full health. This ship can be boarded.
- Phantom Ship has tattered sails on all ships, and will teleport into the mist repeatedly. There's one leader and two small ships at a time, but the small ships respawn infinitely. Once the leader is defeated, you cannot board it, and are instead given the item rewards that normally would have come from boarding.
The video seems to mix details of the Black and Phantom Ships. They're both challenging for sure, but the Phantom is definitely the harder one.
Why does some of the stuff you say about Terra during the Mysterious Figure segment make me laugh so much haha. Great video
I made the phantom fight much more difficult than it had to be. When I first played kh1, when I learned about the magic shortcut, I only had 3 spells, and so I thought that the magic menu in the command menu also only showed whatever spells you had mapped to your shortcut. Not realizing that I could use all of my spells from the magic menu, I went into the fight with stop, fire, and thunder as my shortcuts and basically just hoped that either the phantom didn't turn blue or, if it did, Donald would be able to hit it for me. It took me like 2 hours but i did end up besting it that way
When I saw Lingering Will at number 2 I was like "who the hell could top that?" Then I saw you picked Yozora. I never bothered with any of the final bosses that weren't in the vanilla games, but I've heard stories of how tough Yozora is
LW wasn't in vanilla kh2
@@Zenriesz Yes, I know.
If there's one secret hsrd battle I like to see is Gilgamesh. He is a traveler who go to many worlds fighting worthy opponents and collects weapons that are powerful. It be so epic to see him meet Sora and try to get his Keyblade which is a legendary blade after all for his collection.
Lmao that rio reference had me tilting my head lmao good stuff as always
I'll never forget playing KH1 on PS2 as a kid and getting clapped over and over by Riku(Ansem). The cutsceen having to play over and over without a skip option. While not the harderst I believe it was the one I struggled with the most. Now its no problem but I'll never forget the struggle and the dread I still feel when I hear that cutscene play.
When remind came out, I got wrecked on proud mode so bad that I went back, grinded materials to make strength ups and defense ups till my soras base stats were all over 100 without accessories, then made over 30 elixirs. Even with all the power ups and items they were a bit challenging but it did make a big difference. Proud mode pushed me to it lol.
I think the list should have been separated into storyline bosses and secret bosses.
I haven’t played re:mind yet, despite having kh3 since release, so my choices for bosses are lacking a few options but I’d have to say I had the most difficulty with kh1’s sephiroth, kh2’s data xaldin, and the terra-nort fight from the terra route of bbs. I only ever realized how difficult it is to fight a fully upgrade *you* when trying to go through with the least amount of levels possible without using exp 0.
Data Xion, i found her harder than Saix, despite being the same attacks every single time it took so many attempts. On critical, like every data fight, most attacks put you at 1 hp. My biggest catch-up against her was her attack that hits you even when blocking. I put the game for over a year because of her. Even after having beat her, I don't feel like fighting Master Xehanort, which is my last fight before Yozora. I'll come back to KH3 eventually.
Any of the BBS secret boss fights can be won spamming a move. I think that if you got rid of the mines, than the Vanitas secret boss fight in the Keyblade Graveyard is the hardest 😂
Fr he was a pain. I saw a guide where you can go behind a rock and spam like strike raid, but I decided to just beat legit
Dude freaking Vanitas Remnant was so hard for me, the fact that he can straight up blind you so you can't even see anything just sucked. Even if you use mines he is still hard as nails.
Just spam aeroga at him, stay on your toes but spamming aeroga is the deal
I just beat sephiroth kh2 on critical mode last night at level 55, was challenging but limit form and reflega plus all my max level movement abilities made it so much easier than it should have been.
Bro the Final Fantasy Brave Exvius music at the end gave me flashbacks to that game draining my savings away, how dare you
Proud to say that I have beaten Lingering Will on PCSX2, that fight was just super fun once you got passed the learning of every moveset hahaha
The Lingering Will fight is one of my favorites after I figured out how do beat him I go back for fun
Nothing will ever top that back to back ass kicking of the dragon then ansem riku in kh1 i can STILL recite both cutscenes 20 years later
The whole chain of memories I have trouble with
My top 3 would have to be...
1. Yozora- dude took me almost 2 weeks to beat. And I refused to cheese it with summons like others have 😅😂
2. Data Xion - I honestly don't know how I won this fight, haha.
3. Lingering Will - again, took me a few days, but I got a lucky run and smoked him.
Although, I have yet to do the sector bosses for DDD and Birth by Sleep, so this list could be altered at some point.
Riku replica 4 is that one fight where I actually had to use enemy cards and 0 cards for the first time.
Even understanding the system quite well, that's the ONE fight where you probably have to be cheap to win it.
The final battle against Marluxia in Re:CoM was pretty insane too.. he legit made you drop all your cards and you’d have to scurry around picking the right ones up and do proper math or be lucky enough to get a 0 to counter his volley of attacks while trying to save as many as you could to finish the fight!
I still haven’t beat Re:Minds Saix data fight. Props to you man.
It was so satisfying to learn how to body sephiroth in kh2. I eventually figured out you can interrupt that with uppercut spiral from ground. Kh1 was the worse fight to me
Lingering Will's DM can be blockable if you don't do any cheese strats. Just guard the 1st series of attacks then glide away into a corner so you can block his final onslaught then roll on the last attack. The whole backing up into a corner thing is that so there's no open space for him to blindside you. To this day I have still not beat yozora
For KH2 Sephiroth if you have been farming the high jump and dodge jump skill which involves leveling up your driver forms you can stop the Heartless Angel attack where your health becomes one point.
The issues with certain bosses I have had to do with the game itself on PC. From the game lagging on very specific bosses (birth by sleep No Heart), bosses getting hits in before the fight has truly started even if I hit the right counter to avoid the attack in question (kh2 lingering will), or the bosses reaction command being out of sync (there is no time to hit the command) because PC (kh2 data fight xaldin).
I just beat Yozora tonight on critical. He was so hard but I have to agree, Siax was absolutely ridiculous. That fight is so unfair. It took me 7 hours to beat him. Yozora didn’t even take me THAT long.
I did all the KH2 fights without drive forms, limits, or items (expect for Demyx cuz I pretty sure you have to), so my top 3 is Data Roxas/Xemnas, Lingering Will, and Data Vexen. The Unknown, Kh 1 Sephiroth, and Data Axel come somewhere after that. I’ve only played 1,2 and Ventus’s story of bbs so this list is definitely gonna change
My first time fighting sephiroth was in Kingdom Hearts 1 imagine my surprise when I come across him again in Kingdom Hearts 2 and the battle began. I knew the moment I saw him in Kingdom Hearts 2 that the battle was going to be absolutely ridiculous
Bro that one bird boss from 358/2 in never land gives me nightmares to this DAY. Close runner up is the bird in KH3 lol
As a young teenager, the Phantom boss on KH1 made me break a lot of controllers . The rest of the bosses were easy because the keyblade toss was OP
KH2 Sephiroth took a few attempts but was really fun
I never beat Data Saix , I tried a bunch of times but decided it be best for me, and my controller to move on
great vid
Demyx from the original Kingdom Hearts 2 and the Data Fight In Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix Was absolute HELL!!!
Also if you died after defeating Demyx before reaching the cave while fighting alongside the Final Fantasy Characters You Have To Fight Demyx ALL OVER AGAIN never happened to me though but it did happen to TheGamersJoint when he was doing a level 1 Kingdom Key only Critical Run Years Ago he was unable to complete the level 1 Critical Run but he did complete it with using only the Kingdom Key It’s in 1 of his rage videos
Pretty accurate list
I always had trouble with Julius(?) in Dream Drop Distance and the Vanitas Remnant and Teranort fights in Birth by Sleep.
Riku Replica IV for Chain of Memories on the GBA was BRUTAL
Man I know mods are on a category of their own, but Light VS Darkness Yozora is true terror...especially for a status effect that can be inflicted at any time that drains your MP and disables your Airstep, 17 more HP bars because his regular pool wasn't enough, and almost all of his attacks are unblockable.
Two words for victory: DOOM DASH
I was never able to beat Yozora, not just because its hard, but because it takes so long to challenge him again.
Man, i still remember my first time beating Sephiroth in KH2 as a kid. I kept pausing the game every 2-3 health bars and walking away bc i kept getting nervous🤣🤣
The dream eaters music (the La La La) in the beginning of the video gave me PTSD flashbacks
The only secret boss that I have faced was in kingdom hearts dream drop distance that is by far harder than any normal boss in every single kingdom hearts game. The boss's name is Julius. Even if you fight him on beginner difficulty mode, if he lands 3 hits, you are defeated. I was only able to defeat him twice once for riku's playthrough, and 2nd was for sora's playthrough.
Without getting in to the list, the top three boss fights I had the most trouble with were...
KH 1 Riku fight from Hallow Bastion
Malificent
and Ansem.
That's it, all from the first game lol I know I had trouble with some of the other fights, but maybe after I watch the list it'll jog my memory. Maybe I was traumatized and asked Namine to take my memories away or something XD lol
I really had a hard time on Chain of Memories on GBA on the consecutive fights with Riku Replica IV and Larxene II. I remember being stuck on this boss fight for a few days, and having to grind better cards.
But the worst time I had was against Sephiroth on Vanilla Kingdom Hearts II. I kind gave up on it after I lost for a week.
My hardest kh kingdom hearts bosses is
1. Sepiroth - his reactions and attacks made me sweat and had a hard time
2. Lingering Will - toughest boss on kh2 for me still havent beaten him and i dont think i ever will he on a whole other level of difficulty
3. Yozora - boy when i tell you what this boss put me through it was no easy feat i literally spent like 2 hours trying to beat him and constantly dying cause of mistakes due to a skill i didnt know he had it was pain inducing to say the least
Those are my 3 hardest bosses from the kingdom hearts series and hopefully my pain from them will not last
I had so much trouble with the stupid cobra in Aladin post game , I also found the sniper in kh2 in at world's end , and the last was one you mentioned sepheroth kh1
You used Phantom of the Opera music for number 9? I love it!
My top 5 hardest definitely has to be:
5 - Mysterious Figure as Terra (BBS)
4 - Data Saix (KH3 DLC)
3 - Lv 1 Sköll (KH3)
2 - Lingering Will (KH2)
1 - Yozora (KH3 Secret Episode)
My fight with data Xemnas the first time was absolutely utter hell never wanna do that again lol.
Said was definitely tough but now that I learned his move set he can’t even touch me, same with Marluxia, xemnas, ansem and terra xehanort
There is also the fact that Yozora can start the fight with his DM! Broooooo i learned that the hard way and by far the most difficult fight for me.
Ars Arcanum and Sonic Blade made Re:CoM piss easy early on, but once you got Lethal Frame, it’s literally insta death for every boss except Final Marluxia 1
I remember as a kid it took me a month to beat sephiroth in kh2. that's a month of getting home from school and trying until I had to sleep! I was also too young dumb and stubborn to go xp grind so I was a pretty low level as well and knew none or the cheeses because it was 2009 lol
Leechgrave
KH2 Xigbar
Vanitas Lingering Spirit
I've only recently begun to play KH3 and have just beat the Kingdom of Corona world, so this list is definitely subject to change.
I literally don’t remember any hard boss fights except sephiroth, which really just required leveling up a tiny bit more. But granted I like action rpgs. I loved him on hk1 though bc every time you fight him you gain a level, thus I was able to grind out a lot of levels fast endgame just by repeating the boss fight over and over again. It eventually got easy as you remember his move set.
Granted I only played 3 once through so it’s been a while
Stating this before even seeing your picks, I’d go with Anti-Cloak Black Nightmare from DDD, Vanitas Remnant from BBS, and Yozora from KH3
The hardest boss fight imo is in the first one. U fight Maleficent as a dragon and right after u fight Riku. Had me in tears as a young lad.
What makes mysterious figure harder in my opinion on bbs is the fact most bosses have a way to read the bosses. You see a wind up (some much smaller than others) know if you are a certain distance away a certain away, even know at a certain health point or certain conditions what move comes next. Bbs mysterious figure you can't read him. You never get an idea what move is coming next. He's random. And just when you think you did it and found him out, he switched it up and throws a different move than you thought at you
It’s true! The only move he makes that’s the most readable is when he turns invisible and starts attacking like crazy, he makes this move a lot when you are closer to beating him, although he also makes this move at the start of battle as well sometimes but he performs this move more often when you are closer to beating him.
@@jdromero2130 and you can't forget the rare time stop move where he gets health back and essentially redoes the fight depending on which health point he was at
The instant I completed the entire plot of kingdom hearts 2 final mix. I knew I couldn't beat Lingering will. But I was estatic to go and meet the Boss of Terra's armor.
KH3 data Dark Riku was one of the hardest for me. This was the only one of data fights that I had to use a guide on cause I just couldn’t find an opening to attack
9:30 funnily enough.. I 1st tried MF with Terra and Ventus, but had SUCH a struggle with Aqua for some reason. I tried beating him with her back in 2017/2018, ho boi my controller has damage because of it. Last year I did a re-run with Terra and Ven, 100%ed both with both also pretty much first try, and then went back to my Aqua save. Still struggled with MF and that final secret boss in mirage arena, but had both in a few tries.
My god this boss is burned into my memory.
I still remember vividly "Dance water dance". And I feel so much internal pain.🥲

Ah yes one of the greatest villains in the kingdom Hearts Disney Universe: THANOS
It’s funny he posted this around this time because it’s the 10th anniversary of his “top 10 kingdom hearts bosses” video in the original channel
The one fight that got me even on normal mode as a kh noob who just started the series was terrahort that guy was cheap AF spamming moves I couldn't dodge and defeating him on my 25th attempt was so satisfying but also the rage I feel for that man 😂
So glad to see the KH1 Sephiroth made the list. To this day, I am hard pressed to name a more iconic appearance or video game boss that made me sweat to that degree.
I still have ptsd of Lingering will my poor controller square button and your right my psp was never the same after mysterious figure, I've yet to reach Yozora but from I saw it's scary AF
Lingering Will is laughably easy if you use Stitch. He gets stunlocked for ages and even drops hp prizes so you don't even need to cast curaga or use a potion very often.
my hardest bosses was sephiroth from kh2, lingering will from kh2 and dark inferno from kh3. lingering will was the only one i still never got to truly defeat. i came close on several occasions but not juice.
Man I tell you before school in the morning for about like 2 weeks terranort used too give me a problem. Even the crush knew it was getting too me😂
Learning sephiroth 1 and sephiroth 2 without internet and knowing what to do and when was pretty hard
But i must say I didn't had much problems with repliku 4 (but I learned in monstro why zero cards are important (my most problem fight with 8 was the fight in monstro to get spilled out)
Haven't done remind yet, so scared of yozora tbh but I remember Lingering will and MF taking me absolutely forever! Biggest learning curve was MF because my first run of the game was with Terra. It was so much easier with Aqua and Ventus after that torture. I know I gotta do Yozora but man....
Surprised KH1 Ursula isn't in here. Reduced me to tears, but I suck at KH1 swimming sections so I see why
I remember when I played the original Chain of Memories, Riku Replica gave me such a massive headache. It took me countless hours and countless game boy batteries to beat him. The console version was no different
Yeah my top 3 gotta be
Demyx in KH2
Young Nort in 3D and
Xaldin in KH2. That shit haunts me to this day cause as a kid I ragequit WAY too much.
Funny enough I actually DID lose a controller in a Kingdom Hearts boss battle. It was final Vanitas on critical mode. Ventus route
If it wasn’t for wanting to get the Ultima Weapon in KH1 Vanilla and NOT getting the Dalmatians in the ClockTower before sealing the Keyhole at Big Ben, I wouldn’t have Pushed Myself to beat Phantom.
One of the hardest but best boss fights for me at least is KH2 Sephiroth, as a kid I learned his move set and dodging everything was so fucking fun.
funny enough i've never took time on the attack pattern. i just went " hit them now until he/she's pissed".
I think I fought the phantom boss,I don't remember if I ever beat it or not, most likely not,but if I have then that surprises the hell out of me XD but I never beat xemnas in kingdom hearts 2,I even had help and we still never gotten to beat him,it took us 2 weeks to fight him and we just couldn't do it,it sucks that I lost my memory card that has that save file,I was so upset about loosing my memory card that I didn't want to redo everything, but here's one positive side,I met xemnas's english voice actor at an anime convention in 2017,paul st peter is so funny
I don't think there was a single KH battle, main story or post game, that I didn't feel a sense of accomplishment for beating. Some took me hours and days and weeks... But it was always worth.
Fun fact when sephoroth says decent heartless angel you can just hit him to cancel the attack
