Such an underrated movie. Of all of the short animated stories I think I enjoyed "Working Through Pain" the most because it focused more on analyzing the emotional pain that Bruce has always failed to overcome despite his heroic & altruistic efforts. The only way Bruce could ever overcome the pain of his parent's death would be to reach a point where he would no longer need the part of his persona/psyche that is fully devoted to The Batman; which at this point I imagine is impossible for Bruce to ever accomplish.
Gotham Knight is based on the Nolanverse films, but it isn't directly connected to them; think of it as basically an alternate universe of the film series. Either way I loved this movie when I was a kid, and I've been waiting for the reaction to this, so it's sweet you're finally coming around to it!
It took some small elements of it like Lucius but mostly Batman Gotham Knight is mostly based On Comic Books and even took those elements of movies just for audience and not for sorry, and also those some were only taken for those who watched those films to watch this movie and it would be accurate to say it's his own universe of more Original Batman Comic Book Accurate than Nolan films, Batman Gotham Knight is definitely way better than Live-Action movies and does more justice and accuracy to the Character than Nolan Films, as the Nolan Films decreased entirely and completely The Batman's coolness and Character not even 0.1% coolness and accuracy of Batman Comic Books is shown in those Movies, atleast The Batman Gotham Knight did the most closest to it for sure!
Deadshot and Killer Croc are in this because they are all Batman related characters and Batman's enemies . Suicide Squad is mostly consists of Batman's enemies with few other villains
This one is, technically, supposed to be between "Batman Begins"and "The Dark Knight". 1st Story: Batman's first appearance in the stories is reminiscent of his vampire look in "Crimson Rain"(a story where Batman fought Dracula and became a vampire). 2nd story: They talk about the Narrows now being all patients after the Arkham breakout, which took place in "Batman Begins". Ramirez(Allen's partner)is the corrupt cop that is the only one spared thanks to Dent's coin flip in "the Dark Knight". Crispus Allen eventually becomes a superhero/anti hero "the Spectre"(theres also a great DC short about the character, though its the earlier incarnation before Allen took up the mantle)
Huh, I don't remember this movie having so many segments, and yes, each segments are animated by a different japanese animation studio. Another anthology animated movie is Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, now that I think about it, the Ryan Reynolds movie killed Green Lantern's chance for more animated movies. Not that Warner Bros care anyway, after the Flashpoint Paradox(adapted into this year's the Flash) rebooted the DCAU into the New 52(I love the art style, teenie tiny heads with massively broad muscular bodies, the men are a bunch of Gigachads) version they oversaturated it with Batman. So much so that when they decided to reboot it again in Justice League Dark: Apokolips War we don't really care about any of the characters. There are some Bat gems though, like Batman & Harley Quinn, it's a goofy fun time of a movie.
Think the only anthology anime that connects directly to the source material is the Animatrix. halo, batman and star wars, anime anthologies are their own thing i think.
You're gonna love Batman: Gotham Knight tim! It's a collection of stories about batman but done in different animations. I recommend you to watch Batman Ninja and Batman: Assault on Arkham if you want to see more animated batman films.
Watching this movie made me appreciate the Dark Knight trilogy alot more than usual with this movie thats apparently a sequel or yk tie in the Nolan movies and also feeling like were exploring more of that world which is very cool to see...now the Killer Croc reference in The Dark Knight Rises makes more sense with this movie
It really isn't a cohesive addition that goes along with the time frame between the films. If anything it's what the cover tells, a production by the same producers of those films.
It's still hard to listen to Kevin Conroy's voice sure Christian Bale, Robert Pattinson, Michael Keaton, Adam West, and Ben Affleck brought Batman to life and wore the Batsuit but Kevin Conroy is the one true Batman not only did you love his Batman but you loved the man as well he was a golden human being and he will be forever missed by the Batman Community he will always be the definitive Batman
Yess finaly tim is doing a dc animated movie reaction and tim do a movie reaction to batman under the red hood justice league the flashpoint paradox justice league war scooby-doo batman brave and the bold batman vs teenage mutant ninja turtles and maybe some other dc animated movies ❤😊👍 and tim have a great day and I hope your having a wonderfull week💪😎☀️🤙

Kevin Conroy will always be the best Batman in my eyes. Rest In Peace Mr. Conroy.

I love all the different art styles & all the different perspectives people voice about Batman in this
The Batman Gotham knights episodes/ movie are very underrated, and some of my all time favorite Batman content.

Same thing as Spider-Man the new animated series is not connected to the Raimi verse.
Wish the Nolan films had this Gothic art direction though. I love how gothic and Art deco everything look some even having a steam punk 1930s vibe.

Batman and anime go together like PB&J! You should see Batman Ninja!
Deadshot and Killer Croc are in this because they are all Batman related characters and Batman's enemies . Suicide Squad is mostly consists of Batman's enemies with few other villains
He stopped using the deflector because the bullet hit someone else, not because it was "too good of tech".
I love that each short is a different art style.
The DC Animated Movie Universe movies are FANTASTIC. You have to check em all out!!
This Batman movie is very incredible, great reaction Tim.
I'm so glad you decided to start watching the Batman animated movies they are in my opinion the peak of Batman, besides the shows of course

Yes, I'm pretty sure that DC sent scripts to several JP studios with distinct artstyles.

How about Batman mask of the phantasm?
They should re-release the film on big screen.
I remember watching this Batman Gotham knight, when I was 11 years old.
I would love to see you watch Batman Mask of Phantasm
Excellent movie
Omg yesssss i love Batman
You should definitely check out some of the DC animated movies

How old were you when Gotham Knight came out in 2008?
Director of last episode is korean
Good video ❤
It seems to me that some details are too crowded within one short film. For example, a detective who considers Batman's actions illegal.
It really isn't a cohesive addition that goes along with the time frame between the films. If anything it's what the cover tells, a production by the same producers of those films.

I feel like you were thinking of king shark instead of killer croc I can’t think of a suicide squad where killer crock was in it that came out
Maybe you should check out Scooby-Doo and Batman :The Brave and The Bold? It’s pretty good.
Why just do animated batman movies when you can check out the whole DCAU?
cool
Can you make the words smaller please because they're fuzzing up the video.? ^. .^
