Lets see how many Star Wars sex jokes I can come up with this one 😂😂😂 "Looks like Hannah has a little bit of the dark side in her Rogue One" "When you realize that the vibrator you thought you grabbed was an actual lightsaber" "Harder Anakin! Choke me harder!!"
To this day, Rogue One is easily the best Star Wars movie Disney has ever made and the ending with Darth Vader is top-notch. Also, the fun thing about that end is that it leads straight into "A New Hope". That means Darth Vader chased them down from Skariff and when he caught them, Princess Leia was barefaced "what plans?" to his face. The balls on that princess!
Saying its the best Disney star wars movie is not saying much because of how bad they all were and the Vader at the end is a slap in the face of older Star Wars fans and Lucas. More machine now than man, all of the old canon made him barely able to move because the suit was so heavy and his robotic limbs...and it undoes the opening of the original movie where the plans location was in question and the accusation was they "intercepted a transmission" of the plans.
@@thomasjones4570 Cry more. This is the Vader we should have gotten. It doesn't undo anything about the plans. They knew Leia had them and were just trying to figure what she did with them since they weren't on her ship.
Ash and Hannah missed that the "testicle nose" guy and the "ball-sack" guy were the dudes who got destroyed by Obi-wan in the Cantine where HAN SOLO were having drinks Chewbacca, in the original 1977 film. 😂

I'm 62 years old and a fan since 1977, and I never thought that a Disney production would save Star Wars. But fortunately this happened, and in Roque One the old spirit that had been so lost in all the last films was rediscovered. Clear structure and plot, somehow he/she didn't stay alive. Dead stays dead. No ridiculous longing look, longing kiss and vow of eternal love that had nothing to do with the film but with audience groups. No cinema for 3 year old's. All beloved characters are wiped out. This is war as it really happens and where there is no fraudulent happy ending. An absolutely successful film with excellent actors.

I would call this movie flawless if it wasn't for that scene. But it's at the end of film so I kinda ignore it. Regardless, the movie is still a 9.5 out 10.
There is a comic called "Vader Down" and Vader crashes on a planet and gets surrounded by a lot of Rebel troopers and tanks/guns and they call on him to surrender because he's surrounded. His reply? "I am only surrounded by *fear* and *dead men.* "
Love your reaction - it was a rough day and this really cheered me up. Forget watching Obi Wan Kenobi and go straight for Andor - the prequel series to this, with the backstory of Cassian Andor and the rise of the rebellion. The best Star Wars media ever!
This story takes place immediately before _Star Wars: A New Hope_ (1977), which was the first movie of the original trilogy. So technically, it's a prequel, but just barely.
I recommend Andor, the prequel show to this prequel movie, as well. Its first and so far only season is probably the best written and acted piece of Star Wars media. It is structured in multiple story arcs, so its watched best in 3-4 episodes at a time. Season 2 will release next year.
Funny thing is, storm troopers don't have bad aim. The only times we really see them really "missing" a lot is in episode 4, when they were deliberately letting the rebels escape the death star, and episode 5, on cloud city, when they are trying to lure Luke into a trap for Vader. Both times they were missing on purpose. Other times we see them actually shooting to kill, such as the opening on episode 4, or the battle of Hoth, they decimate the rebels. They are completely one-sided fights.
Now watch ANDOR - it's a prequel to Rogue One and stars Cassian Andor (the same guy who died for the cause in Rogue One and is his story about how he came to join the Rebellion).... it was created by the same team who did Rogue One and is arguable the best Start Wars TV show created to-date. You will love it... it makes Star Wars feel believable and have soul. (Obi-One, Acolyte feel like cheap kiddy movies which, to be fair, they were probably aiming at a younger more care free audience) - but ANDOR is Star Wars how you wish it would be, with characters and emotion and you feel invested.
Some Easter Eggs. The two aliens, balls on the chin and nose. They were both in the first film, A New Hope, where they accosted Luke Skywalker in the cantina. Some of the lead rebel pilots of Red and Gold Squadron were the same pilots who were killed in the attack in the Death Star trench in A New Hope, using unused footage from the first film, and the sacrifice of Rogue One mentioned in the opening prologue.
I remember thinking the same thing at the beginning: the heroes would win and all live. Once people start dropping, it clicked that it was a suicide mission. I sobbed in that theater. It took a few years before I could watch it without getting chocked up about it. I believe there is a line in A New Hope that talks about the people who died to get the rebel force that information. This movie puts that sacrifice in context.
When that breathing in the dark hallway started, the gasp in the theater followed by the nerdgasm screaming of us all, is one of my favourite cinema experiences ever. I tell people that this entire film is worth the time just for the 20 seconds we get to see of why the entire galaxy was terrified of Lord Vader and why Sith Lords seemed like demigods to the average person.
I watched this at the movies, I cried so much... definitely, the best Star Wars movie ever, the most realistic, and the one movie that really captured the essence of Vader.
Thank you Ash for another youtube video, i know it took a long time to get this edited, appreciate all the work you do to make these reactions possible, looking forward to watching this reaction and many more in the future

Just so you know, there is another Spinoff movie called Solo: A Star Wars Story. It focuses on a younger Han Solo (different actor for obvious reasons) It doesn't necessarily progress the plot of Star Wars (at least from the other media we've seen) but it's still a fun time imo. 💜

You just watched what is, for me, and for a lot of people, the best Star Wars movie ever... The perfection of how they close the gap to start Episode IV (btw, to what you said... in Episode IV when they are doing the briefing of the mission to attack the Death Star, the commander says something like "let's see if this is worth all the sacrifices that were made to get it"... Great reaction guys!!!
You guys should honestly watch Andor and The Mandalorian. Andor is the prequel TV show to this. There's only one season out. And The Mandalorian has key moments that connect to the aftermaths of all of this.
I absolutely love how they don't realize that the thing they were seeing in the tank was in fact Darth Vader without his suit. Its just a testament to Kenobi's "He's More Machine Than Man" remark in the original trilogy.
If you remember what Mon Mothma said in Return of the Jedi, “Many Bothans died to bring us this information”..Besides Force Awakens, this has to be my fav standalone Star Wars movie. The ending ties PERFECTLY into A New Hope! They couldn't have done a more amazing job with this film! Donnie Yen was my fav character! It made my heart happy that Ash actually knew who it was! 14:24 As is noted in the credits of Rogue One, Lucasfilm obtained permission from Cushing’s estate to recreate Tarkin for the film. Both his estate and Carrie Fisher received special thanks in the credits. But the filmmakers did consider other options in case the effects didn’t work out, such as having Tarkin appear only in a hologram or giving his dialogue to other characters. Here’s how it worked. During the filming of Tarkin’s scenes, he was played by the British actor Guy Henry, who resembles Cushing in size and could speak reasonably similarly. Henry wore performance-capture equipment on his head, as you can see below, so his face could be replaced with the digital recreation of Tarkin’s. Rogue One filming - Guy Henry wearing performance capture equipment Guy Henry wearing performance-capture equipment during the filming of Rogue One. Industrial Light & Magic/Lucasfilm The process was slightly different for Princess Leia. Initially, the camera is behind her; in that shot, she is played by the Norwegian actress Ingvild Deila. When Leia is shown from the front, it’s Deila’s hand that we see. But the character’s face, hair and costume are digital recreations based on footage from A New Hope, reports the New York Times. In replacing Henry’s face with Tarkin’s, the animators worked hard to approximate Cushing’s original delivery. The effects take into account subtleties like the way his lips moved when he spoke a particular word. At the same time, the filmmakers did not prioritize that element of the digital performance.
This is my favorite of all things Star Wars. I took my son to see this when he was about ten. As we left the theater he looked up at me with tears in his eyes and said “That sucked Daddy, they all died”. I said sometimes it doesn’t end Happily and gave him a hug.
It's because Stormtroopers don't actually miss that often, unless they're trying to. Leia *and* Tarkin spelled it out in the first movie. The Empire *let* the Falcon escape so they could follow it to the Rebel base. That meant making it *look* like they were trying to kill them while not actually doing so. When they're not missing on purpose, Stormtroopers are fairly lethal.
Although you may have already seen and deduced it, this film describes what happened immediately before the beginning of the first Star Wars film: Episode IV A New Hope. And in this film, when they present the stolen Death Star plans, they say that it was done at a high cost (or something like that), and this is seen in the number of characters “from the rebel alliance” who die to obtain these plans…
Hannah [after being a full-spectrum emotional wreck for the last 40min]: It's got me a little choked up, actually. 😂❤️🩹 Hannah, I adore you always This was one of my favourite reactions of you two. I was laughing, smiling, getting emotional alongside you (both as individuals and together) the entire time. You were both feeling everything SO intensely - sometimes on the same page and sometimes very different focuses haha but it was all so pure and contagious. Made my heart feel full, loved this Star Wars journey with you guys ❤
"Rogue One" is the only Disney Star Wars movie to date that is worth watching. It has all the elements of a good movie. Good characters and good character arcs. You get invested in the characters and even though you know how it ends, you still feel for them and appreciate all the more, "Episode IV, A New Hope".
I saw the original movie in the theatre when it first came out in 1977 and I’ve been a Star Wars fan since the opening crawl. Over time, Rogue One has become my favourite movie in the whole series. Anyone who likes this should watch Andor, the best small screen series as well.
It was so cute how you were saying CP3O instead of C3PO, made me smile every time (: this movie is so good, it has everything. Id take my shirt off too.
16:55 I case you guys didn't get it, those two aliens are the ones from the first movie that started a fight with Luke in the cantina and one got his arm cut off by Obi-wan.
those 90 seconds of hallway Vader was the 1st time they showed how evil he was & why Everyone feared him. i gave it a standing ovation in theater. there needs to be more Darth Vader just like this movies 2 scenes in more future stars wars
This film definitely brought the war into Star Wars. In many ways it feels like watching a World War 2 movie. You know a lot if people are going to die, but their sacrifices mean so much. I also love how many "plot holes" it fills. People used to joke that it was stupid that the Death Star would have such a big weakness. Now we know that it was there by careful design as an act of rebellion.
The black stormtroopers are called “Death Troopers” and they’re the equivalent of Imperial Special Forces. They’re highly trained kill squads called in for dire situations and high-level security details. They are absolutely superior to regular stormtroopers in every way. Even their vocal communication is spoken in a different language called “Death Trooper Encryption” so their coordination and movements are only understood by those in the squad.
Nerd fact: The "Camo" Imperial Troopers are called Shore Troopers and the ones wearing all black with green eyes are Death Troopers (Formal name being AWR Troopers, which stands for "Advanced Weapons Research", very elite class Trooper that guard high profile Imperials.) 💜
This movie is easily top 3 Star Wars movies. It was so good, even going into it and kinda knowing the story, you still had no idea what was gonna happen. Also the XWing fighter named Red 5 died… that’s how Luke was able to get the name Red 5 in A New Hope.
I love you guys and you have no idea how excited this react makes me. I am joining patreon tonight so I can vote to FORCE YOU TO WATCH ANDOR NEXT. Andor is the prequel to Rogue One and tells the story of the start of the rebellion. It’s the best Star Wars anything, ever, of all time
A way to make Vader's hallway scene scarier (cooler) is that the door didn't jam. Vader was holding it closed to get the plans. Notice the door opened after the rebel handed them off and got killed?

Although you may have already seen and deduced it, this film describes what happened immediately before the beginning of the first Star Wars film: Episode IV A New Hope. And in this film, when they present the stolen Death Star plans, they say that it was done at a high cost (or something like that), and this is seen in the number of characters “from the rebel alliance” who die to obtain these plans…
A reminder that the reason we all like this movie is because it based on previous work and lore🔥
Vader in a hallway will always be one of my favorite scenes in any movie ever.
Hannah [after being a full-spectrum emotional wreck for the last 40min]: It's got me a little choked up, actually.
😂❤️🩹 Hannah, I adore you always
This was one of my favourite reactions of you two.
Somebody give her a Glass of Water🔥
The Vader hallway scene just confirmed that an R rated Vader show is needed IMMEDIATELY
“If the fish says we fight, WE FIGHT!” is one of the greatest things I’ve ever heard.
That thumbnail is nasty work 😂
"Rogue One" is the only Disney Star Wars movie to date that is worth watching. It has all the elements of a good movie. Good characters and good character arcs. You get invested in the characters and even though you know how it ends, you still feel for them and appreciate all the more, "Episode IV, A New Hope".
"Whoever made this should have their own trilogy". It's called "Andor", and it's more than a trilogy. You guys should watch it.
Empire, Revenge of the Sith, and Rogue One are my two favorite Star Wars films.
That's 3😂
So excited for the next ones!!
16:55 I case you guys didn't get it, those two aliens are the ones from the first movie that started a fight with Luke in the cantina and one got his arm cut off by Obi-wan.
The guys with the "bollocks chin and bollocks nose" are the guys that pick on Luke in the canteena.
Force awakens next!
those 90 seconds of hallway Vader was the 1st time they showed how evil he was & why Everyone feared him. i gave it a standing ovation in theater. there needs to be more Darth Vader just like this movies 2 scenes in more future stars wars
K2SO is on of my Favorite Droids in ALL of Starwars
clone wars tv show and rebels is really good too, if ever decide to watch those. The bad batch is good as well
This film definitely brought the war into Star Wars.
Dam Hannah was invested in this film🤌🏽
When she raged and said "the force is with me"!! 💀
The Force is trong with this one 🤌🏽
You are the only reaction channel where I always watch the intro.
Great video as always;)
Nerd fact: The "Camo" Imperial Troopers are called Shore Troopers and the ones wearing all black with green eyes are Death Troopers (Formal name being AWR Troopers, which stands for "Advanced Weapons Research", very elite class Trooper that guard high profile Imperials.) 💜
This movie is easily top 3 Star Wars movies. It was so good, even going into it and kinda knowing the story, you still had no idea what was gonna happen. Also the XWing fighter named Red 5 died… that’s how Luke was able to get the name Red 5 in A New Hope.
“If the fish says we fight, we fight.” 🤣
“All my favorite characters are getting killed off!”…..ha, just wait!
Rogue One is probably one of the most underrated SW movies of the franchice.
idiots saying dont watch the sequel trilogy...
I want them to watch it!!
I’m mourning here in USA so happy to see this drop. Love y both
I love you guys and you have no idea how excited this react makes me.
I love how Ash is constantly worried about Vader the whole reaction before even seeing him.
