This turned out pretty, but you didn't mention the integrated plate. I think that's the biggest design flaw of these keyboards. I wonder what a single layer of tape would do to the sound.
Thanks! Yea the integrated I should have explained better what that means and I know that style of plate isn't for everyone. I typically like them because I don't like flex in my keyboards personally and not all plates have the same consistency throughout them. Yea, I too wonder what tape and pe foam would do to the sound profile.
Would have been nice to Drop actually utilise the milled space, could have used it for tri mode or daughter board implementation, with a daughter board it opens up gaskets. But cmon Drop… why use Phillips screws when 50$ Aluminium cases from Taobao already uses hex screws….
