Have had this body in cart for a while man, always love your "scale" code you build by white looks great with clear windows. shes a beauty with the volt wheels. Your right 10th scale some brushed motors can get up to high 40s, i got 47 outa my lightning brushed motor

I had one of these cars years ago. I could not for the life of me get it to go straight. Is that a common problem with these or did I just have a dud?
I've always wondered what would happen if you put airplane RC gear in a car. Like I have a low kV Turnigy outrunner that has enough torque to move a human on a longboard and takes up to 6s without sweating. Cost me less than a Tamiya black can too.

I am new to RC cars with Lipo batteries and if You I don’t have a brushless motor Will it still go fast with a 100 c Lipo
The size/ chemistry of your battery depends on your ESC. The mAh is the capacity of the battery, the number of cells in series or "S" rating is the voltage and the C rating is just the discharge rate.
Runtime is determined by the mAh.
Power output is determined by the number of cells
Punch is determined by the C rating.
Brushed can def be cool too👍🤙

Ebay. They still have some. It’s a Killerbody R34 GTR. The wheels are just cheapies from Amazon.

Get a cheap 4100kv brushless from eBay with ESC. On only 2s it will do 40mph already.

I have been running both my arrma senton blx and my brushless conversion tmaxx fpv lately. Real hard to drive when fast since the nose lifts and u can't really see anything. Still fun tho

First of all, if people are bullying you because of the car you drive, they’re jerks and it says way more about them than it does about you. Screw the haters- do your own thing brother.
That being said, a lot of drift tracks use RWD drift cars- not 4WD drifters like this. My best advice is to go to your track and ask what people are running. See what chassis they use and tell them what your budget it. I’m willing to bet that a few of those people will have some old used chassis that they’d be willing to sell at a heavily discounted price.

Are you referring to the brush in the motor? What’s the purpose of a brush? The brushes sit between the coil and commutator plates. It’s where coil is short circuited.

There are some epic drifters for $100. The SG1602 and SG1603 come to mind, but they aren’t 10th scale..... HPI makes an 18th scale drift car also, but idk how it drives.

I don't understand why new generation RCer think the brush motors are slow in the early 2000s I had a Traxxas 4 Tec first generation it wood do 63 miles per hour it a MasTec 11 doubled a 7 cell battery pack it was geared 81/31
I had one too as a kid. Stock, it would do 35! That was with the cheapest battery I could find.

Just a suggestion: It's YOUR program/video/channel so do what YOU want. As to the "drifter" how about putting some gear in it that can hold up for more than just a couple speed runs. For me, it just doesn't seem to accomplish anything if it can't survive more than a couple speed runs. Just sayin'.
You’re totally right. I have a motor coming that should hold up, but it wasn’t here in time to make this video.
