- In 1997 - 1998, Dark Horse released the Crimson Empire comic series by writers Mike Richardson and Randy Stradley and art done by Paul Gulacy, P. Craig Russell, Sean Konot, and Dave Stewart. An audiodrama was released in 1999 with a whole new team separate from the Dark Empire audiodramas. This definitive edition combines the two along with adding some new music by John Williams and Mark Griskey. Enjoy!

Force Unleashed music works really well for the fight between Jax and Kanos
Man, Kir Kanos is certainly one of my favorites from Legends continuity, I was always intrigued by Palpatine's guard.

Now this deserves some serious or movie....
But.... neither Disney or lucasfilm will be able to do Crimson Empire Justice this just shows their miles ahead of the inquisitors
Oh yeah no lol. The inquisitors could fuck them up. The royal guard are great…for non-force sensitives. They may be able to stand their ground, but they couldn’t beat them.

To be fair what happened wasnt Disney fault, George Lucas was the one to reject these stories. Had he went with these long ago Star Wars would still be in his hands

This version is so much better than the motion comic that spliced in bits of video games and that one xwing animation.
I love this version.
I also love the other versions.
Each person is using their time the give us great entertainment.
For me and my imagination this is just like being at the movies. Thanks to everyone involved and know that your passion is being appreciated. 😊

I don’t understand how motion comics don’t get more views. I think they’re my favorite form of media entertainment, or whatever.
Or, a close second to the SW movies and MANDALORIAN, Fett, Ashoka and my most favorite, The Clone Wars series…both of them.
The voice acting and story of this is absolutely amazing....even though I've watched this like 5-6 times....I love the Empire End saga.

These motion comics are really good quality hopefully Disney don't decide to be dicks and make you take them down, thanks for all the uploads brilliant work, not seen some of them since reading them years ago lol I knew some were on here but the sound and resolution left a bit to be desired, but yours are top quality so thanks again
Disney won't take these down unless they renew their contracts with Time Warner/Highbridge and NPR, which they haven't since 2017 I believe. They did renew their contract with Bantham audio so I just think they don't care about these audiodramas.
Thanks for noticing the high audio quality! That's the reason I decided to make these, to give justice to these stories in the highest quality possible.
@@MrPoke I see fingers crossed these get lost in contractual paperwork. I'm guessing there's no way to get Heir to the empire up as I'd assume that you'd have to edit parts of the audio book and the graphic novel together, or has that trilogy been given the motion comic treatment like these
@@slyaspie4934 The Thrawn Trilogy has been given a motion comic treatment by another channel. I don't plan on covering them since uploading audiobooks can get my channel in trouble with the mouse.

That audiobook only lasts until The Dark Lords of the Sith, but not the Sith War. Have you given any thought about maybe doing the voices yourself or with a team? I would do it for free if I could. Anything to give back to the community

Now as for the comic, it's cool n all but i cant look past the plotholes 😂 first of all they didnt rly showed a decent reason as to why/how jax betrayed palapatine & why does kanos hates the council, then in the end it makes no sense that sadeet conveniently dies so that the girl who spent the wholle comic helping kanos suddenly becomes his enemy 😂

There's so much wrong with that book. I thought dark empire was not liked well but next to this book, even it seems way better.
