You don't see performances like this by female artist or rarely in general anymore. Janet was the first and only of her kind and my all time favorite female entertainer of all time. This video was made over 30 years ago and still exceptionally entertaining.

Janet Jackson is a whole vibe. A superstar.. She IS the blueprint. Nobody could touch her, especially in her prime. In fact, she could still sell out a stadium...whether or not she had a new, hit record.
Now you see why most of us 80s babies will say no one now has the precision and stamina nor talent to do what Janet did! No one though they do try.
