Here is your ultimate guide for new and returning players to Star Citizen 4.0! Each main category has been time stamped for you to easily jump to and reference.
been playing for a few months now, and it still feels like this game is brand new with how much stuff there is to try and do! Cant believe that months later a beginner guide was genuinely still helpful
I died on baijini point (from dehydration) revived in the med bay on the station didn't have to set my respawn point. if i logged out in mid space close to the station I was respawned in the space station.
I wouldn't say those are the requirements. You can build a $700-800 computer that will run it just fine. That was more or less my suggestion that's borderline mid range
@@Hav0k Yeah, I built a hot stuff computer specifically for SC, but that was back in 2019 or so. I just upgraded to a Ryzen 5700x3d and water cooling (AM4 board), but I'm still running an 8gb 580 video card, and 3.24 was sucking up 95-100% of it last week. Any suggestions for around $250 or so?
The new Intel cards are apparently exceptional bang for buck ($250, comparable performance to $400-500 AMD/nVidia cards), but I would try to see if there is specific information of how they handle Star Citizen.
@helloisthisdog i have to agree. Apparently intel did a really good Job with is most recent release of GPUs. The RX 7600xt is also another really solid option for just a bit more $$ while keeping it pretty close in price.
@@Hav0k Got a model number? My search shows intel arc cards at roughly the same price point as the 7600 AMDs and going up from there. Right in the middle between the 7600s and up to the same as the 7700s, in fact. The 8GBs are going for around $280 (at least the one I found) but is 8gb really enough? This is gonna be one of those situations where it's a nickel and dime crumb trail where I end up with the $400 card, I can feel it. 🤕
I have personal experience with Elite but none with Star Citizen.... I feel like the flight model on elite dangerous is a lot more technical and satisfying judging by videos I have seen of it in Star Citizen. How would you compare the two?
I'd honestly say that the flight model on ED is a lot easier to understand and be good with. Whereas Star Citizen has a lot more of a learning curve to it.
@Hav0k Cool beans, I just haven't personally seen anything in a Star Citizen video that looks as difficult and necessary to practice for muscle memory retention as learning Flight assist off in Elite Dangerous.
@goodman9720 you act like it's going to be broke forever lol it's been smooth for me the past 2 days made 3 million just hauling cargo with a cutter so far lol
Great video... Just one issue... Crusaders ugly child should not be pushed. The Intrepid is the Ugliest ship.... Worst choice for any beginner.... There is a KOS order out for that ship. Kill on sight..... CIG should have never made that ugly ship. Any other starter is a better pick. Crusaders ugly child is just going to make u a target.... Don't buy the Intrepid
Making a ship KOS because you find it ugly is probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. It's a perfectly decent ship. And given this is SC, anyone can buy whatever ship they want for any reason.

Nice! Glad the guide was helpful! If you have any questions, let me know!
THANK YOU MAN
Of course! Glad you enjoyed the guide!

Yeah, this sometimes happens. But if you die when doing a mission at one of the nearby moons, it generally will spawn you back at the landing zone.
Maybe the space station paramedics saved you.😂
Lol possibly!
Damn, those requirements are rough. Is there any hope for us poors who can't really afford a $400 video card?

@spartakos3178 Decoupled flight in SC works very similarly as well
@@Hav0k I'll have to look a little closer
the only reason i dont play this game is the FPS problem since it release
Honestly, 4.0 has some of the smoothest fps I've had ever.

Nice! I need to get to work on farming some money cause I'm broke lol

Intrepid is an okay ship. DPS is a little low, and loading cargo is a pain, but it's wicked quick, and great for RP.
Sorry for what the intrepid as a KOS?

Its a fun ship to me. I bought it and never had anyone give me any trouble over it. Imagine getting so mad over a ship 😂
@@dailybugle2147 lol for real 😂
