    Im pretty sure the idea of transient jump points is not only do they move around a system, they also open and close. So if you started constructing a station near one, by the time you finished it would be gone.

      Not all transient jump points .ove actually. In the future they plan to have static ones that are hidden.

    So my initial thought was - do you think only the ultra large ORGS like ATI / BWC and the like will be able to actually participate in this ? What’s large ORG vs Medium Large etc ?
    How do you see smaller ORGs and alliances working this end game together ?

      Nah I don't think it will be restricted to really big orgs. I think that orgs that have 50- 500 will still be able to build space stations.
      But I do see alliances with really big orgs being beneficial for smaller orgs.

      @@Hav0k Yeah I guess if the ORG is too big, it might be a detriment to coordinating (some ORGs are too big to even be supported on the servers currently) Haha

      This is a real problem. But I think dynamic server meshing might have the capability one day to support a massive amount of players on a shard.

    Althought it is on the right track but one I think 5 systems will be enough at the start to build a stations or bases and be silly trying to build it in Pyro. Two CIG are going to have to try and split the Orgs into two groups best idea is Earth vs Terra civil war in which the UEE will not take part in due having to fight the Vanduul. Instead be given to the Civilian Military PVP along with NPC Crews and workforce under the Organisation. Earth will need at least 3 Systems including the Sol System for the Ecomony and another 5 Systems for the PVP and Organisation battles. Last but not least Manpower with Server meshing to work although there are good signs of that.

      Given the scale of each system, I think space is really not going to be as much of an issue as some people think. Between there being a cap of how many players can be in a shard, I expect we really won't run into as many issues as people think.

      @@Hav0k I still waiting to see how big Pyro is but I also know that some orgs will be destructive and power hungry depending on the how many can be in one shard. Also what the AI pirate clans will do everybody seems to forget they are in Pyro along side the Alien haters are also there. Another good thing would be someone be able to run the pirate factions for CIG see how nasty they could be then. Need a hideout that none of us can find.

    Why would Orgs be limited in the number of Bengals? That is so gamey. If it is expensive to construct and operate people will naturally not do it unless they can afford to.

      For a start the two biggest ships in the game the Bangels and the other ship we saw in SQ 42 are large Capital vessels and should take 5 Months to build the crew on board would be around 500 and around 18 to 20 Fighters Bombers and other type ships. If you give a organisation able to build Bangels within a week everyone will have Bengal carrier which would be silly.

      Not to mention the size of the crew and the sheer scale and power of them. This also ties into Chris Robert's earlier statements on how he wanted it to work back in 2013 or so. He stated that there would only be a total of 3 to 4 Bengals in the entire universe that players would be able to obtain via stealing or repairing a derelict Bengal. He said the ship is way too powerful that he believes it should be something that takes a lot of work to obtain.
      So, my comment on orgs being restricted to 1 per, would make sense and is rooted in this initial views from earlier on in the project.

      Easy lore answer for game balance - you build it with the permission of the UEE - or you don't, in which case they work to destroy it. They don't want gangs having too much power, therefore limited numbers.

      @@Hav0k I think the UEE would have around 20 of them since they lost 3 or 4 of them so far.

    LOTS of opportunities to explore! My expectation is that we (ADI) will pursue all three. We already have the organizational structure to pull it off....all we need now is a stable platform, a strategic plan and a roadmap that will help all members contribute to the cause.

    didn't CIG basicaly said that the Javelin will be the most powerful ships that player could legaly have ? no way a government is letting you build a space aircraft carrier/battleship hybrid

      Back in the day, yes. Showing a bengal in a player owned station though was kind of an unconfirmed hint that the bengal will be the largest. But they haven't made an official statement.

      Considering the current governing body in game keeps asking us to help defend the system, we better have the options to use what ever we can, if we can.
