- Today we are talking about the Starter Deck Rebel Armory which is the best suited aggro build for the Starter Deck Dual area in Magic the Gathering Arena. New players should use this to farm daily wins in order to grow out their card base fairly quickly (daily time wise).

Thank you so much for this video! new to MTG arena and I was basically losing only on beginner deck duel (after colour challenge). Tried the Grave Secret deck but is not really for me, not atm anyway don't feel like is beginner friendly but this deck definetely is! I just got my first ever win :DDDDDD Tyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy x
Thanks again for the video, you definitely deserve more viewers. At 12:44 I have accidentally done the same thing many times, hastily spamming the "next" button which then causes you to attack with everyone. Not a great moment when I lose an important creature due to button mashing.
Yeah!! But the faster you click buttons, the more combo damage you do... I do that all the time playing aggro too, lol.
How does one beat this deck? I'm struggling so hard, using the legions of phyrexia orzhov deck against this. I only win if they misplay. Even in games that go long, they just top deck a for mirrodin card and attach all their stuff to it. There's no real way to shut down the threats from this deck because there's no artifact removal. And the weakness of this deck aka cards is not an issue because you can spend your mana equipping after the mid game. You just need a token creature on the field. Super frustrated, either i'm terrible at magic or this deck is unbalanced for the format. It doesn't help that i get matched with this deck about 3 times every 5 games, no exaggeration. Please help.
Certainly feels unbalanced in this format... I feel your pain. I wish I had a good answer, but it is unbeatable unless they get bad draw it seems.
@@coffeestout I've been playing phyrexia and Arcane Agression against this deck with little success. The deck is definitely OP. Got a few wins with Blue/White air which seems to be 2nd best
@@coffeestoutwhat formats do you recommend for trying out this game? It’s kinda insane they present this extremely unbalanced event filled with experienced players doing dailies as “beginner friendly”
I feel you. New to MGT and I’ve been playing the Phyrexia deck as well and I cannot beat a Rebel Armory deck. There have been times where my opponent has multiple 3/1 tokens on the battle field by turn 2 or 3. Also no artefact removal means they can just keep spamming 3/1 tokens. Seems super unbalanced. You’re not a bad player. I think this deck is just OP.

Thanks for this video! I tried the other deck you suggested and got terrible results. But this deck is working great for me! I won three in a row so far with it. I think being a newbie, I needed to find a deck that was a little forgiving. When I do make a mistake, this deck gives me room to recover.
Yeah, it is all about play style... it depends on what you are comfortable with.
At 7:50 your creature had first strike, so you didn't even need to use the Rebel Salvo there, your guy would've chomped them up regardless

This deck is really good, but I hate playing against it in SDD. They did not balance it well, and it seems to crush everything else. Lots of early game power, low cost, good removal, and when your creatures die you can just redistribute the equipment. I have gotten to the point I just resign if I see this one, which is at least a third of the games, since everyone uses it... No fun to play against it.
