The mono-red player thought Goddric stayed a dragon, seen by him reading it several times after it lost flying. Which leads me to think they have never failed to have Goddric be a dragon/the game lasting long enough for them to notice him not being one

Mono red and mono white did the fusion dance and created the most degenerate deck ever

Warleader's Call is crazy good, and for 3 mana... WOW!
They combined impact tremors, a 2 mana card, and glorious anthem, a 3 mana card into a single card, for only 3 mana! Absolutely absurd.
I am trying this with Anim Pakal because the gnomes are artifacts for Gleeful Demolition and it pops out a bunch of creatures at once for the Warleader's Call. Excellent deck here
You could easily replace the Sanguine Evangelist for Anim Pakal
I run it in my version of this deck but your hand can sometimes feel too slow setting up the board. I have a couple of copies of Skrelv's Hive and Songs of Totentanz to try and get value from tokens pinging damage.
@@CRAETION_ The problem there is you create a weakness for single target removal, the Evangelist is at worst 2 1/1 fliers for 3 mana. Anim is, at worst, a 3 mana target for Cut Down.
I personally run one less gleeful and run two Delney, street wise. Her additional triggers boost token creation and the unblockable is nice for getting through with smaller creatures
Hey CGB, I’ve been following you for a good while now and enjoy both your content and your style. Your decks are so much fun to play, and have gotten me up the ladder many times. I’m more a lurker than a commenter but this desk deserves much much applause. So. Much. Fun. Ive addded Anim Makal for extra oomph on the warleaders call and replaced stoke with lightning helix. yet to see how that works out as the deck is so fast i haven’t needed it. 8 out 0f 10 scoop and the ones that don’t, fall in outraged astonishment, even Etali grayeyard returners. I'm running this deck with a 1 of skrelv (helps with gleeful demolition target) as well as anim pakal. No recruiter or knight errant, but with 4 lightning helix as well. Helix helps with that crucial removal and also just gives the deck more reach with going face. Also been running 4 kumano, deck still performs well.

I played like 12 or 13 matches with this disgusting, stupid deck. So far I have a 100% win rate with it. It's absolutely unacceptable. Love it. 🖤
I can't understand why wizzards makes this game even and even faster. Wasn't mono red enough?
It is because they stupidly got rid of rotation, so to sell new cards they have to push them further than the existing cards (that would otherwise have rotated out). It is the same reason eternal formats get worse and worse over time.
this deck doesnt use Mono red cards, so its cool that an aggro deck that isnt mono red can smash fast
Trying to be like yugioh…I swear every game on master duel rarely goes above 7 turns. 9/10 its over in 2-4 turns.
Its cause sheoldred has been the best card in game for awhile now and they have to make stuff that at least tries to compete with her
This is why I think so too, I'm hoping the aggro meta put sheoldred a couple notches down.
Having built this and played a couple dozen games I'm amazed by how often, with only 6 basic lands, I get an opening hand with either 2 mountains, or 2 plains, and 5 cards of the opposite color. Also 3 games in the MTGA algorithm discovered U/W control with Doorkeeper Thrull, and then that's all I played against.
I had the same issue. Makes me want to quit arena and play paper magic exclusively. Plus I can choose not to play against people who play the cheese decks.
New Krenko with Demolition works very nicely!
I can't resist trying to fit Ojer Axonil into this deck. It loves Warleader's Call so so much.
(A fully-convoked Knight Errant of Eos can fetch it, Stoke the Flames can be big and cheap enough to get it back.)
Same, it somehow doesn't really work yet for me though. Tell me if you find the right approach.
@@M726G6 I don't know if it's optimal compared to other approaches to this deck, I expect not. It's much more vulnerable to instant-speed spot removal, either on the Ojer or the Call. But if you want to do it that way (it is fun!), cut stuff that doesn't help with that plan (Evangelist, Recruiter, Bunnicorn, maybe Warden) and be willing to wait a turn to play the Ojer when you have follow-up. Having Warleader's Call in the opener is a _big_ advantage, bigger when you're pruning Warden which can otherwise help dig for it. I run Anim Pakal, and sometimes that's a better turn four play after Call than Ojer (if opponent can't deal with it, the follow-up Ojer + two gnomes is very likely to kill them, and if they can deal with it, it's eaten removal that could otherwise take out Ojer).
Feel like damage is too creature based. Sometimes you get lucky with multi warcaller but not often enough. I been trying delney, streetwise, taking out bunnicorn and one gleeful. She helps get creatures through and create more tokens!

Any game in the stream that you runback to win (or almost win) when the opponent boardwipes the boros weenies with this deck?
Generally that's not going to happen, unless you're playing around the sweeper. You have to know what you're playing against and be willing to play for later giving up the advantages a deck like this gives. It's mono red with extra steps.
Unless they're packing Temporary Lockdown, they'll be long dead by the time they can sweep the board, assuming the cursed manabase doesn't get you.
only noobs lose to sweepers...sadly
Sneaking Jinnie Fay in could be funny, making all those goblins 2/2s or 3/1s
warleader's call already does that + etb ping for the same price and is harder to remove.

Thanks for the decklist! I was struggling on diamond2-3 for days mainly with a blue white deck. I hated the games against this type of decks, lots of them are on the ladder! So I changed to this and today I reched Mythic!!! :)
Pretty sure the "Oops all bats" game at 22:44 was trying Nile's Bat Heist Challenge. It was an easy win.
15 minutes in and I believe in this deck. I'm new but it seems very consistent.
Warleader’s call acting as both an anthem and an impact tremors all in one means that taking damage instead of blocking can also kill you. A deck that runs board wipes and some enchantment removal could be nice but at least in best of one they’re very slow.
Sometimes you just have to hope that you draw what you need and the boros player isn’t popping off enough for you to board wipe.
Dammit. Now you've given me a conundrum. Do i spam life gain or this? Both look like so much fun.
My build is using Charming Scoundrel instead of the Sanguine Evangelist, less power but better chance of the Gleeful demolition and a turn earlier scry or convoke(by sac treasure for another creature).
I keep running into this deck while playing control and there is just no way to keep up. You can board wipe and the deck just immediately reloads

You have to boardwipe at turn 3, not 5. Have to play all 4 copies of thise cheap wraths like Brotherhood's end.

I personally take out the bunnicorn and one gleeful and put in two Delney, streetwise. Her additional trigger ability can build more tokens and make your little minions unblockable to some creatures, allowing more penetration
Is there any consideration for Delney in this deck ? Also I don’t understand warden because u trade tempo for counters, and then it gets instant speed removed anyways
Delney is kind of too slow for the Boros deck. The point is to end the game by turn 3. Delney doesn't trigger any of the boros stuff by entering play and is much more powerful in Orhzov life gain for instance. If you've ever pulled off Delney + Cavern Bats, it feels amazing and evil to YOINK TWO of your opponent's best cards!
Warden let's you fix your draw, mostly using artifacts you don't need, building up to evasiveness. That's why and only why it should be used. The land base sucks, so that's why it's key.

FYI haunted bonebrute wouldn't have given you two dogs because when it flips, it doesn't enter the battlefield. It entered the battlefield when it was cast as a disguise creature.

What is the benefit to using Thran Portal in this deck?
Doesn't come in tapped if you have two or fewer lands, allows you to choose a colour land you need for turns 1 and 2.

I made this deck. I didnt play standard much before, im now suddenly gold ranked after like an hour playtime. Games are so fast, i had like 4 games of turn 2 concede or if it plays out i'm going to win turn 3 anyway. I used to only play dailies in brawl, now i'm a monster killing off people trying to have fun . YOU DID THIS CGB THIS IS YOUR FAULT.

I've been playing this deck on ladder for a few days, 25 games in I was on the draw 16 times, on the play 9 times. Despite this I still had a 13/12 W/L rate. I'm winning out of spite at this point
I can recommend vanguish the Horde as the sweaper of choice. It is fine against normal Decks and it destroys Boros when the curve Out perfectly. But i got to say it is sad that i have to consider 4 of these and 4 tempory lockdowns to ceep this Deck in Check....

mmmm, just beat a UW control deck after getting hit with 4 board wipes with this deck. Perfect 5/7 would recommend.

Lockdown is the answer to decks like this, sunfall is not.
Path of Peril is also an option.
True the nice thing about Lockdown is is it also takes out their blood token and clues.

Yeah but Meathook is almost too slow to stop this deck. They will be swinging in with lethal by turn 3. You can meathook for 1 by turn 3? OOF. If you're going 2nd you can pretty much kiss your chances goodbye especially against this Boros deck type.
@@veeclash4157 i don't think you remember meathook into meathook and how backbreaking that actually was. Yeah sometimes it won't answer a nut draw on the play, but one stumble and it would be very hard for this deck to win at all.

Yup this deck is pretty obscene. It has a nut draw curve that puts 8 power toughness on the board on turn 2 - inspector T1 followed by gleeful demolition + Knight. Pretty dumb stuff. The arrival of turn 1 inspector just added a ton of consistency to gleeful demolition. The 3 mana anthem that makes creatures entering the battlefield ping for damage is just silly power creep as well.

Yes. I use it for Standard ranked. At the end of the video he modified the lands and added Lunarch Monarch for life gain
Honestly the WB life gain deck ya did absolutely dumpsters this deck xD. I've only lost to absolute nut draws when I was on the draw with a meh hand.
Yeah, I love that deck too. My fast deck of choice is toxic deck, but this convoke list is super sweet. Aggro isn't my style, if I can lifegain them into despair, I will try. 😂

@@cardigansrule Doorkeeper Thrull beats the deck all by itself. After I built this on MTGA it only took 3 games for the pairing algorithm to find dozens of "people" (In other words MTGA bots) playing jank decks with Doorkeeper Thrulls to beat me with.

Oh no, one of these decks that has it all. Like the rogue deck in the past. It's cheap, it has haste, it has card selection, it draws with the knight of eos, it has cost reductions with convoke, it has reach with the warleader's call pings. This deck is going to be a bane.

you pray they brick. you're going to need lots of cheap removal and kill everything even 1/1s but the problem is they have the creature they can flash in that gives them two bodies for 2 mana, and inspection + demolition is 4 bodies for 2 mana so it's almost a lost cause if they draw well.
I’d say the two best answers for this deck are end the festivities and temporary lockdown

Why do the enemy guilds not have fast lands? I want to play boros and izzet.
It's normal for enemy and allied cycles to just miss each other each standard rotarion. It was the same for triomes, pathways.. there's a philosophy wizards has about it.

After taking a break for 3 years from MGT I came back to this BS. Tried to mess with a toxic deck with some rares and mythics and the others decks just kill you on turn 3 or have 4 legendary creatures or 3 insanely powerful dinos out. Fun 😅

The power creep is getting a touch ridiculous; Standard is turning into a Pioneer-esque boat race. Putting 10+ power on the board T2 shouldn't be happening in Standard but I guess that's what happens when design keeps prioritizing flash over balance.
