Your maths is terrible. Why would you use operating cost as a method of comparison knowing very well that EVs are always gonna be cheaper
1 lakh kilometres of Innova with mileage of 7km per litre , assuming @Rs100/litre = Rs 13-14 lakhs
BYD would cost Rs 1/km ...hence 1 lakh km = Rs 1 - 2 lakh electricity cost even with commercial charging.
Savings of 10-12 lakh for 1lakh kilometres
And when talking about charging points, you need to update yourself and actually take a look at how many are already there in india. We have more than UK currently.. that's how fast it has developed in 1 year

Per unit charge is exact 19 per unit + 18% GST. Which is expensive. It's almost get close to CNG running cost. If you have charger installed at some industrial area where per unit charge is less approx 6 Rs per unit additional other taxes it can go upto 8-9 rs per unit. Which is merciful on one's pocket. Considering that fleet or commercial cars easily run for 5-6L km before they are discarded. If u add in the fuel cost considering the innova has an average mileage of 10-12kmpl, the BYD still makes more sense in long run. Plus the manufacturer is assuring a warranty of 5Lkm on battery which is massive. Ofcourse the build of trust on EVs for commercial purpose will take time and the fact that a chinese manufacturer can provide such specs at good price should be alarming the inhouse indian players

Doesn't make any sense at all ... you should not compare this w/ Crysta at all.... except the dimensions of BYD ,nothing comes close to Crysta !

Ahhh. Please don't compare Reliable Toyota with Highly overpriced cheap looking chinese car. Crysta is like the best in class and has better resale value when compared with others. And The ride is quality is THE BEST when compared with its competitions. And that's the reason Toyota Innova is being loved by private, commercial and fleet customers. And this video is like Innova is car only for fleet and commercial market and I disagree.
